    Last year I placed an order with !-800-Flowers and it the wrong items was delivered (something significantly less expensive). I was promised a new one would be delivered that day and it was not. After hours on the phone with them I was promised a new one would be delivered the next day and it was not. BTW The original order was NOT for Feb 14th.

    After numerous messages on Facebook with Tina Flowers I was promised my next order with 1-800-Flowers would be Fr.ee and guess what. After almost an hour on the phone with 1-800-Flowers there is no record that this order will be at no charge so they will not provide it to me. The only issue is that I have numerous notes from Tina Flowers (printed out and save on Facebook) stating that this was the case and the customer service operator would not even listen to this. Thank you Daryl - 1385137 for miserable customer service. Messaging Tina Flowers on Facebook is worthless - She has not replied to several notes over the past few months. So now I have the notes where she promises the flowers I also have the trail showing to last of any response. 1-800-Flowers thank you again for dropping the ball again.

    A flower arrangement was sent to me as a gift.  The order was referred to Ariana Florist (DBA Kim's Flowers), which is less than ten minutes from my home.  My immediate thought was that the larger flowers did not look particularly fresh. Despite adding water, within two to four days the roses which never opened were hanging limply from the stems and the lily-shaped flowers were shriveling and the petals were falling off.  It had been delivered on Friday and by Tuesday, the whole arrangement was a pretty sad sight.  I called that day and spoke to the owner who asked what I wanted her to do about it.  I suggested only that she provide some cut flowers to compensate for the ones that had died so quickly.  She agreed to send them the next day, but  did not.  I called again and she said she forgot and set another time.  They weren't delivered then either.  This time when I called I was told it was because they were too busy. The owner never apologized for anything; just tried to put it off for another day. This was obviously a lost cause and I decided not to pursue it further. My score is based on the poor quality of the product and a total lack of professionalism.

    They failed to deliver the flowers. They did not deliver the flowers to my mother at all. They initially misled me and told me they had been delivered. I had hired them on May 10th to deliver flowers to my mother. They said they guaranteed the flowers would be delivered on May 11th, which was the day before Mother's Day. They failed to deliver them. They then misled me and initially told me they had delivered them. That led to a conversation with my mother in which I said, "Did you like the flowers?" My mother then said "What flowers?" While the company did give me a full refund of my credit card payment, overall it was a very bad experience. They should have realized the importance of getting flowers to someone's mother on Mother's Day. They should have either told me they couldn't guarantee at all, or they should have simply gone through and delivered the flowers as they indicated they would. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

    If you're looking for some unusual and beautiful arrangements to give to someone special, and have only a few particulars...(Can you just throw in some lilies and make it look nice?)...they are fantastic. The bouquets my husband has brought home are always interesting and exotic and very full for $50-70 each. Because of that, I went there to pick out my bouquets. For myself, I picked out a bouquet from a magazine I loved. For my bridesmaid, I picked out something from the books they had on hand in the store. My bouquet...was almost nothing like what I ordered! I needed a bouquet with a purple theme and brown leaves for a winter wedding. It arrived with bright red colors and fuzzy green leaves. (I had even given them swatches to go by and my invitation to show the colors.) I made sure not to have it photographed too often. As for my bridesmaids, their bouquets were perfect! Just like the photos! They are also a bit on the expensive side for weddings. $75 for bridesmaid bouquets at about 12" diameter and $150 for my bouquet at 18" diameter, ribbon wrapped. On the other hand, the service has always been pretty good with the counter people. The boss who gives the OK in the back...is harder to talk to.
