    Knockout Masonry Corp
We had a very large project. Jimmy set up the first meeting with us and we knew on the spot we wanted to hire him. He takes great pride in the work his company does, we knew someone like that would make sure we had a great finished product. He and his crew showed up on time, were extremely professional and courteous. Jimmy helped with suggestions when we told him what we wanted to do. Honestly it felt like he was as excited as we were when he came up with a design for our sloped flower beds. He told us from the first day that he would treat our home the way he would treat his own and he most certainly did. His crew was fantastic. They worked long days, were punctual and worked as clean as you possibly can with this kind of work. I am so happy we chose Knockout. I would HIGHLY recommend them. You get what you pay for and they are well worth the money!!

    Nunez Construction and Painting
Saw the good reviews for Nunez Contracting in Angie's list. Called them because they could handle both painting and masonry work. Efren came to the house to do the estimate. He was able to schedule the work to be done right after Thanksgiving. On the day of the job, Efren arrived and was quickly followed by a crew of three headed by Favel. This was a fairly difficult job because an old paint job was peeling off the wall and taking chunks of concrete with it. The crew had to remove all the old paint, remove all the efflorescence underneath the paint, then catch a number of large areas and paint over everything. Favel and his crew took exceptional care to keep the dust level down and keep dirt off the new rug in the basement. The job took one day. Efren's price was fair, and the crew was polite, hard-working, and took care to keep everything clean. They even mopped up after they swept the floors at the end of the job. I would definitely use Nunez Construction again

    ProTech Construction
After weeks of searching for a company to install concrete in our back yard, we came across ProTech Construction. We have them a call and got an immediate response to our questions. The owner of the company came out the same day, took measurements, went over the details of what we wanted and gave us an estimate on the spot. My wife and I made some changes to the original plan and Carlos was very understanding and patient with us. He helped us along providing different options and estimates to fit our financial needs.

On the day of installation, ProTech was right on time as promised. They started promptly at 8:30am and by 4pm, the concrete slab was poured, prepped, and set to dry. They were very good at maintaining a clean working environment and left everything spotless. While at my house, Carlos was kind enough to look at some other jobs needed around the home and provided me quick and fair estimates. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and reliable contractor.

    Quality 1st Maintenance
They came out the next day to do an estimate.  Very professional and punctual.  I received a few estimates and found Quality 1st to be the most honest and knowledgeable.  I scheduled the services and they arrived earlier than scheduled to start the work (which was a plus for me).  They kept me up to date at every step and sent me pictures to show the work being done.  They installed the flue and measured the chimney for the chase pan in about 2 hours, then came less than 24 hours later with a custom stainless steel chase pan and caps.  Everything was complete in less than 24 hours.

Evaluation and estimate visit was straight forward and I was impressed with him, his suggestions and price of job.
He gave an estimated date of work to be done and was very accurate.
He contacted me the day before the job and offered assistance with something I needed to attend to prior to job.
Contractor and crew arrived at 7 am the next morning and efficiently began work.  I was pleased to see that Luigi assisted his crew at the start of the job and reviewed with me the work that was going to be done. I really like that Luigi has a crew that he has been working with for many years and works with them on every job. This showed in how they went about the job with efficiency and accuracy. Of course there was some noise at times but they kept it to a minimum. They also didn't mind at all that I came to observe now and then.
Certain issues that I was concerned about was attended to perfectly during the job.
Luigi had told me the approximate time of completion and he was spot on with that time, clean up and all. After the job was finished there was no sign of any of the debris that had been generated by the work. All areas hosed down with no trace.
Luigi and his crew has this kind of work down to a science and their efficiency and professionalism is admirable! Luigi is also a very friendly and pleasant person to deal with and gives his customers confidence in his work and crew.
I highly recommend LUIGI COTUMACCIO MASONRY CONTR, for any masonry job.
I certainly would contract him again.

We got a quick appointment. He was knowledgeable and could point out what was wrong before we told him what we needed. With no and quot;you need this too and quot; to up the price. Auggie's was also the only offer that included a re-install of the wrought iron railing. Apparently this is an extra service that no other contractor mentioned. We had great weather and he used it to our advantage. The whole job took 2 days with a return visit for the railing.
Auggie and his crew were very competent, efficient and polite. This was, without doubt, the most well-done and efficient house job we've ever had!

    Knockout Masonry Corp
The crew arrived early on July 8th.  Each member proceeded to do their portion of the work.  Everything was completed in a day and one half.  The cleanup was excellent and everything was left in good order.  All of the workmen were courteous and professional.
There was a question on our part concerning one bluestone step that had been installed.  The owner of Knockout Masonry, came back in one day and resolved the problem to our satisfaction.
I would recommend this company to anyone.

    Joseph Ruperto Masonry Contractor
From the moment he gave me an estimate I knew he was the contractor for me. He understood what I needed, pointed out some areas of concern. He was honest and told me due to the size of the job it may have to wait. Since he set my expectations, I was happy to wait. I was concerned that the brick would not match as my brick colonial is very old but he came to the property early in the morning to match the brick and have it ready for the day. He also salvaged the slate that has been installed at the home for over 50 years. His workers were impecable. Mr. Ruperto didn't leave his men and checked all their work. He made sure everything was cleaned up and I can't even find a bit of dust anywhere!! They also respected my rock garden that laced my walk way and actually replaced the rocks after finishing the walk way. WHO DOES THAT!!! I am so amazed and thrilled that I've called all my family and friends to stop by on the way home to see what an amazing job he did. I have a home I can now be proud of and it's all due to his skill and caring. I hope Mr. Ruperto ends up with too much work because of the type of work he is doing as he deserves every and quot;job well doneand quot; he receives! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm sure you will be very satisfied..I'm sorry I can't attach a photo as my phone's camera is broken.

    Jamison Home Svc LLC
We contacted two well known brick and mortar contractors in our area.  Jamison's  was some $3000 lower than the other estimate.  We put down a deposit in January and waited until spring to have the work completed.  There was some delay in the work but we were generally kept in the loop about when to expect the work to begin.  I contacted the rep in June and we were put on the schedule.  The guys that came to the house were great.  They did really nice work, were courteous, careful and professional.  The biggest issue we had was an increase of $2200 in cost associated with what was discovered after our old bricks were removed.  The demolition was completed when the cost overrun was brought to our attention.  We were left with what we felt was no choice but to proceed at a significant markup.  Interestingly, the other proposal for the work had anticipated the discovered problem and had given us an estimate based on having worked issues associated with a house as old as ours.  The cost overrun really hurt the experience but we are very pleased with the craftsmanship.  I'd recommend and use them again with the understanding that estimate may be inaccurate.
