Bait and switch. He charged me for 2200 square feet of Sod and to use a Sodcutter on lawn and put down top soil..I put trees down after initial proposal and he came back to remeasure to see how much Sod was needed. On morning of install I asked him if he changed the price because there was about 150-200 less sq. feet.He said to wait till he sees what's needed. He said he's not going to use Sodcutter on side lawn of about 250 sq. ft. he would put down topsoil over grass and weeds then Sod.After they were done he said he used 2100 ft even though footage is closer to 2000.That would mean that there was 100 feet waste. He lowered price $100 only. After he left I called Kevin the owner to say he should have left me a piece or two of Sod just in case it's needed and he said he will drop off a piece or two which he never did.On second day I noticed that some of the Sod was defective on side lawn, so I called him and he said give it a chance.Anyone knows if something looks diseased you don't give it a chance but I did.I sent him pictures after 3rd day and he said to wait. After 5 days it got worse and I called him again. He came to house about 9 days in while I wasn't there and removed about 5 to 7 of the sod patches. He called me and said to leave those bare spots alone that they were root rot and that it will grow.I told him any idiot knows that if underneath there were weeds that they will grow through and the liar said he put 5 inches of topsoil on that side lawn and weeds won't go through.I have a 4 feet high White pvc fence and the Sod is about 1/2 inch up fence higher than it was.I had to put Sod in those bare spots myself to repair it because I didn't want weeds or older grasses to come through.I texted Kevin not to step foot on my property again since he didn't do anything but drive by and say it looks good.Any fool knows that grass looks ok until you go closer. He does not stand behind his work.He talks like he's doing something but it's all talk.I would never hire this company unless you want bait and switch and bad Sod to go with unprofessionalism.By the way Kevin went from saying to soak it then 25 minutes to 45 minutes to 10 minutes all in a weeks time.He also saw how my sprinklers work while he was there because he asked me to put all zones on.The pictures are from the 3rd day.Thank God I used to do lawns in Nassau in the 90's so I know a bit about Grass and Sod.

We had three trees removed by this company today (6/1/2019). They showed up immediately to give a us a quote and came up lower (in one case >$1000 lower!) than other quotes we received, and there were many. Showed up on time, were professional and courteous. They also pruned some of our other trees. They left the property spotless - barely a stick to be found when they left. I can't imagine a better value than this. We're thoroughly satisfied!!

    Daves Tree Service
Daves tree service is wonderful. I have never dealt with a more professional and efficient company. I had several very large pines removed and you couldnt even tell there were ever trees there. My yard was left perfect, the stumps were carted and no material left behind. Dave is very easy to deal with and very reasonable. I will be a forever customer of Daves tree service. If you need tree removal, call them, you will not be disappointed!

I used them for probably 10 years. If I need something extra done I let them know. I pay them once a month for a total of everything they do. They do my grass once a week, if I have extra work they do that, they do my fertilization and stuff like that. So, I end up paying them a fair amount of money but nothing consistently, regularly. I like their dependability. I think they are a little bit expensive but I'm not sure. I don't really have anybody to compare them with because I've been using them for so many years. I think it's probably normally competitive. There's been a couple times I have annoyed but in a minor way. It's a contract and they bill me once a month for what they have done.

The trees were removed very carefully and the clean-up afterwards was meticulously done. The sod looks amazing! Everything was professionally done and we are more than happy with our new front yard. Frank and his team did an excellent job!!

    Emergency Cut & Trim
It went okay. I would not personally use them again. They were the most expensive I've ever had. The work was okay. I have a quarter acre. On that quarter acre I have close to 50 oak trees. They showed up with rakes and bags. I said to them, I think we have a misconnection here. In this area, it's always done with blowers and it's done with a crew. They said, we can do it. I said, it's going to take you way longer. Anyway, they went ahead and I agreed to it. By the time they were done it was way more than I've ever paid before and I would never contact them again.

    Alberto's Fences & Tree Services
After getting several quotes, including companies that had done some jobs for me in the past ; I  thought that the quotes I was getting were too high. I picked up the local penny saver and I found   Alberto's Fences and Tree Services .   I called him up and he told me that he was doing a job not far from me that he would be there in 15 minutes.  He showed up on time and his quote was more reasonable than all others. On top of that he offered me a 20% discount. Since his guys were not far away working on another job, he offered to do the job that same day. At first I was skeptical since his company is fence and tree company. Putting up a fence and removing trees are two completely different animals. I had two big oak trees in my back yard, each on opposite sides  of the yard, both trees half of the branches over the fence to different neighbors. I also have a patio right under one of these giant trees and my neighbor  just put up a new shed also right under that tree. Alberto's guys showed up within 90 mins. One of  them climbed the tree and cut the tree down piece by piece, tied each piece up ,the pieces were then lowered . Each piece was guided carefully  down to my yard, including the giant branches that were leaning over the fence. Everything was then carried to the front were they used a giant chipper to cut down the branches into little chips. The bigger trunk pieces were loaded onto a different truck with the help of a giant claw. They also  trimmed a third tree to make it less dangerous. They cleaned up not only my property  once they were finished, but also both of my neighbors. I was pleasantly  satisfied with the quality of work, efficiency of the workers and the over all experience a had with this company. Definitely  on top of my list next time.

GREEN IS THE COLOR LAWN CARE
HOW DO YOU CALL YOURSELF A LAWN COMPANY WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO FOR LAWNS?  IT TOOK ME A LOT OF MY OWN SEED with potting soil to cover to get it back to where it was.
It seems that most L. I. "Lawn Companies" have no idea what they are doing = Emerald "Magic' was a real "slight of hand."

    UNITED LANDSCAPE ASSOC
The job went very well. Steve called within hours of my first phone call, and honestly told us that they wouldn't be able to do the job for 3 weeks because of jobs already scheduled. 3 weeks later they started on time, and worked for the next 3 days to create a wonderful outdoor area for us.

    Emerald Magic Lawn Care
Everything went well, and I had no problems with the service.  They applied the treatments as scheduled, and they left signs in the yard after treatments so we would know when to keep our dog off the lawn.
