AI’m in the middle of my first long haul move (NY > FL) and come to find, locating a reliable moving company that you also feel confident with, IS NOT EASY! Its hard finding a company that you can trust being responsible w/ transporting ALL of your belongings. I researched and spoke with multiple moving companies, and like many who are reading this comment, you're doing the same. You are likely seeing is a mix of negative and positive review across different companies, and you may even feel that many of these reps remind you of a used car salesperson (no offense to those who are); but all they wanted was to sell me on their reliability and pricing structure (while bashing other competitors), yet failed to properly address my concerns (united/mayflower is a prime example of a company where I experienced that feeling). Then I eventually came across All American Van Lines (AAVL) and noticed a quick difference off the bat. This is the one moving company that had more positive reviews than negative, which is obviously a good indicator. I started off with a video estimate with Arel, and he was pretty spot on. He (and Debbie) were also amazing for putting up with me and actually addressing all of my questions/concerns. I just had all of my items picked up for my moving ‘load’ date yesterday by AAVL, and lets just say I am **more than pleased** with my experience thus far. The movers who came to my home treated all of my belongings with the upmost care, and I’m floored by their professionalism (and how quickly they completed the job). Since the estimates with this company are non-binding, my final price is actually lower than my original estimated price, which AAVL honored… you’d think that is unheard of, but with them it’s not! Awesome, right? I’ll post an update upon delivery of my items, but so far I’m SO happy with my decision in choosing All American Van Lines as my shipping carrier. :)- Jennifer M.

AWhen it comes to moving I am a very worried person but the experience I had with this moving company made me feel very confident like no other. The woman Linda that helped me along the way was very curtious and professional. She made sure I was totally happy and was on top of any questions I had making it a very smooth and pleasant move. The movers showed up on time and handled everything in a very professional and prompt manner. I highly recommend this company they saved me money, time and a headache!- Kenny H.

AThere was quite a bit of furniture and boxes to get down to the loading area and into the truck. We anticipated that it would take a at least 2 hours to complete since this is how long another moving company took to move the same amount of furniture on a previous move. Much to our surprise, this company took about half as much time and packed the truck perfectly. The movers were very courteous and even brought us a housewarming "gift".- Shantel M.

CIt's not a good experience because I am missing my Apple Watch. I bought an Apple Watch and I can't find it and they don't know. This is not good. I also had a tv stand and the bottom broke and it caused imbalance of the tv. I don't want to accuse, but I still can't find my watch. I didn't notice my watch missing and the tv stand broke until a month later. It would be hard for me to accuse, so I just left it alone. I thought that the whole move could be done in 5 hours and it took them 6. Now, I was moving from apartment to apartment, ground floor to ground floor. I thought it would be quicker. I remember we took a break and I got them food to eat. That wasted maybe a half hour time. It took another additional hour. I ended up paying another $100 and on top of that he was asking me if I can give everyone a tip. What I did was give everyone a tip and additional $100 for the extra hour and I gave them food to eat. I paid for their lunch and gave them a tip. They did hard work. I even helped them move some furniture myself. It wasn't like I was watching them. I was helping. I think because of the speed they were doing it, it shouldn't be 6 hours. They tell people to pay for their lunch and then to tip them. It was a $400 watch and I think about it everyday. Maybe it's not their fault but I know that I was missing it after we moved. It was my fault that I put it in a place that they were doing work. I don't want to accuse. I don't know what really happened.- mohammed e.

ATom was recommended by my brother in law who used him earlier in the year. I was told there would be no BS using Tom and to give him a call. So glad that I did. The crew that showed up was clean cut, polite, and they work like beasts. They ask questions, make sure your happy and not a single item received so much as a ding. They wrapped and protected everything that needed it. When did they take a break? On the ride to the new house. It was 90 degrees and humid in August. I wouldn't even consider another company after this experience. A+++- michael f.

This Company contracted with us to pack our belongings here on Long Island and unpack them in S. Carolina.
Although they showed up on time and the three men who packed the truck did well, they came without enough room on the truck to fit everything that was contracted. They didn't give us any options and off they went. They arrived in S.Carolina on time but with same driver and new crew to unload. The crew there threw boxes up the stairs and broke valuable pieces. We watched a video before signing with them about their professionalism and how they would put runners down on carpets as to not dirty anything. also blankets were to be put on stair railings and that wasn't done. We contacted the company and they told us we should have called for another truck on moving day but how were we to know that when the ny crew didn't tell us that. They just wanted their tips and out they went. We have now contacted them 5 times and still they haven't rectified the situation. We get 'we will have to speak with our manager".. The manager never calls. They said we should expect paperwork in the mail about the broken items and it is now a month and nothing. Knowing that we returned to Long Island They sent a check for a refund of the weight contracted verse what the actual weight was. That check was sent to Myrtle Beach!!! And upon our last conversation 2 weeks ago, they offered us a 200 dollar rebate and told us they would move the rest of our belongings for an additional 1700 dollars. Those items were under the first contract. Trying to suck us in once again I think not. Must be a game for them to overcharge or RIP unwitting folks off. I would never recommend this company to anyone and rest assured I will be calling The Better Business Bureau. That original salesman is a liar. They didn't do what he said they would provide. What a Joke they are. And also the JOKE is on us. Beware and never use this company. Also I will post on any social media I can about this terrible company!!! here is an update for you all. After seeing my negative review this company had the nerve to contact me and tell me they are still waiting for a manager to contact me.what a joke!!!! a message to you united/liberty van lines, I am contacting the BBB and see how you like that! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

AAll American moved my daughter's bedroom furniture (two large pieces and three smaller pieces of furniture) from Farmingdale to to her new house in another town nearby, and also moved three large pieces of furniture in our house to different rooms. They were at our house, pretty much on time, and did a great job! We had a three hour time slot and they finished in 2.5 hours. We have a narrow and steep stairway and they took great care of the furniture so that nothing was broken. We would definitely hire them again if we need to have anything moved and will recommend them to others!

A3 Movers came in on time. Very Personable men. They all worked well together, as if they were a close knit family. They Knew what to do and how to handle all my furniture and belongings. What was precious to me - was precious to them! They even took apart a massive closet, broke it down into pieces, wrapped it well, and took it to the new house, set it up, with all screws and parts. I thought it was just not going to get up the stairs. It was my nightmare I dreamed every night. THEY MADE IT LOOK SO EASY! They were honestly AMAZING. I would most definitely use them again. But I'm not planing on moving sometime soon. HOWEVER, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. SUPER GUYS.

BOverall, it went okay. They did a good job moving the furniture. One of the movers had to wait for an hour before they showed up. They were late getting in there It was kind of inconvenient for both the person who was having it moved enough and waiting to move it by an hour. My daughter had another plan, so she was late. It really did impact a little bit, but the job itself was done very well. They gave us a discount and it was not adequate for the cost. The owner, Nick is very personable. He is knowledgeable. He knows what he needs. He lays all in the mind and he is fair. He didn't have a control over punctuality part. It did affect the overall dealing. He is a nice and good man. The punctuality was very poor. He seemed to be a decent guy. He seemed to have some experience. The price was fair.- Janet L.

AWe were able to schedule the move a week in advance. The crew arrived a little early, which was a good thing since it was a big job. There was a lot to pack in the kitchen, and a few other items that we just hadn't had time to pack yet. Some guys moved all the furniture and boxes into their truck while others packed. Things got a little more complicated when we were unpacking at the new house due to a staircase with an awkward bend, but they found a way to get our furniture upstairs eventually. It was a long day but everything went smoothly and they made a stressful day much easier than it has been in the past. when we unpacked, nothing was damaged. They asked for a little more than another company, but we decided to go with Redline since their price including packing was lower and I'm glad we did as they did such a great job.
