    NJ Truck Welding LLC
We dropped our truck off at NJ Truck Welding on 3/21/2020 as of 4/2/2020 no work has actually been done! The only thing Walter did was torch off the tailgate, which he then discarded and threw away, making the truck un-drivable After all of this time Walter then proceeds to increase the price of the job in addition to the original cost that was agreed upon between us to repair the truck. In addition to the price increase Walter is estimating a minimum of 2 more weeks to complete the work, no solid finish date in sight. This company is incompetent and dishonest at best and downright criminal at worse.

Dr. Manfredi came to the house-was WONDERFUL, calm, caring. This is so hard, to euthanize your pet, that you have had for 16 years...Dr. Manfredi made this hard tough decision, a peaceful and beautiful experience. I will never again have my pet euthanized anywhere but at home. It is so worth the extra money you pay, compared to bringing your dog to the vet. You are at home, no stress for your dog on getting to vet, for my pet, it was just another day at home. So peaceful.

Harmony Animal Hospital - W N Epple DVM
She was a indoor car and we didn't bring her to the vet often. She was old, probably 17 or 18, I noticed on her chin she had a cut that was almost a blister. It turned out she had bone cancer. She wasn't eating and there's nothing they could do for her she was just wasting away to nothing, she couldn't jump up anymore. They didn't give me a hard time for not having her in there, they looked at her and explained what was going on to me. The vet isnt going to tell you what to do, they arent going to say you need to put them down. They always tell you its up to you here's what her quality of life will be like. She wasn't eating and is just getting thinner and thinner.   They let me decided and when we decided they did it there and then. They took me to the back room and let me stay with her. They let her stay wrapped up in the blanket and cremated her with the blanket. They are very very good and there for you to help you through it.

    Island Trees Veterinary Hospital
I would recommend them to anybody. I have been using him a lot because she was pretty sick up until the end. She kept her at least comfortable until the end. He told me in advance that it was terminal, but he did a lot of stuff to keep her up where until the end she would still go for a walk with us and sleep with us, and eat with us. He said it was fine. The dog was 13 years old and we had dealt with Island Trees Veterinary Hospital for 13 years, if not longer because I had other animals prior to her. He's the most caring vet I've ever seen. He's terrific. The price was reasonable. It was fine. Everything the guy did, he went out of his way to help me and my pet. His staff was extremely helpful also.

    Sunrise Veterinary Group
I've been going to this location most of my life - 31 years. I live in Nassau county now (have for the past 9 years), yet I still make the 25-minute trip to West Islip, primarily because of Dr. Bystry and staff (Cindy, Debbie, Nicole, and Dr. Donovan is a great new addition). For this particular visit, Sunrise handled a GI crisis with my elderly Bernese Mountain Dog. She had bloat, and while Dr. Donovan wasn't 100% sure what Chloe was suffering from, she suspected bloat. She took images, treated her, and sent us to the ER for treatment overnight. When the emergency vet wanted to put her through a number of expensive tests, and could not offer a definitive diagnosis, we took her back to Sunrise in the morning, where Dr. Bystry determined that the crisis was over, it had been bloat, and she was fine. He instructed us on further care to prevent another incident (it's her second bout of bloat, which her breed is prone to) and shared our joy at her miraculous recovery without surgery. Chloe is 10, quite old for a Berner, and she is a happy and healthy dog in part because of the great care we have received at Sunrise. She ate EVERYTHING as a puppy, from an entire bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips, to a pair of pantyhose. We have always had no problem with emergencies or scheduling well care visits, and Dr. Bystry always treats our pets with love and concern. He never pushes unnecessary tests, and always provides options. When Chloe needed knee reconstruction surgeries, he gave us the option of having surgery done at Sunrise or at a specialty hospital, and explained the difference in procedures and cost. We chose to take her to the specialty hospital, and he was pleased because of her young age at the time and the expertise of the orthopedic surgeon there. Dr. Bystry also treats our black lab, and has seen us through a number of difficult times, including the deaths of beloved dogs. He handles these situations with grace and understanding, and provides options for cremation. We also board our dogs when necessary here, because we know they will receive attention and good care. Veterinary care is not cheap, for good reason. There are insurance options (we always have insurance for our pets from the time they are puppies), but they are not as good as human health insurance. Vets aren't hacks who couldn't make it in med school; it's actually tougher to get into a vet school, and they need to be knowledgable about numerous species. At Sunrise, unlike at some other practices, the staff does not put profit first. They genuinely care and try to save money for clients when possible. I highly recommend this practice.

Cherished Pets (Buchanan, NY) owned by Jo Ann Davis is a wonderful company.  When our beloved dog passed away and we decided to cremate her, Jo Ann was there for our family through the entire process.  It was a hassle-free experience during a time of great stress and grief.  There was never any issue getting in touch with her when we had questions and she responded to our emails and calls promptly (even though it was at the peak of the Christmas/New Year's season).  What impressed us the most was when she dropped off our dog's ashes; she stayed with us for about an hour getting to know our family and reassuring us that the feelings we were having are normal.  We were delighted with her sincerity and her genuine concern.

Pet Rest in Peace Memorial Center & Crematory
They were very nice and very prompt. They got back to me immediately, and we were really pleased. It was a little bit of a drive into New Jersey, but it was not that far, and they were really very kind. They provided anything you needed.

I Had to put my baby dog to rest 10/6/15 and I called this facility to see if they could take her that night and hold her until we could have her cremated.  The facility staff was extremely courteous and helpful and allowed me to bring her down, after business hours, without any hesitation. The Staff on hand took control of her body with dignity and care and assured me that she will be held until her cremation date (which was that following sunday). On Sunday, they laid her out for viewing and it looked as if she were sleeping as opposed to being deceased. Then when the viewing was over (It is up to the viewers when that is), they take her and you can watch as they slide your beloved on into the Crematory. They also allow you to view the removal of the ashes, which would alleviate ANY doubt that you are getting your baby back. In the entire process, the staff was very helpful to my family and you could REALLY feel their concern and emotion when they give their condolences. If you ever want to utilize a creation for your baby (Dog, cat, hamster, etc) or want to have a burial site, THIS is the facility to go too.!!!!! Thank the Universe for them The Cost included the Personal viewed Cremation, Having her out for a final viewing and Pendants (on top of the URN).

We used Barnegat Animal Clinic. We were new to the area and I had never taken my cat there before and he woke up sick one day, he was 16. I ran down there and they did not have to take me, they could have sent me some place else and said we don't know who you are. But they saw that I was in dire need. And he ended up having to be put to sleep that day. They were just phenomenal, they really were. They took care of everything, they were very kind and sweet about it, I can't say anything bad about them. It was about $500.00
