Starkie Brothers was one of our top choices when it came time to rip up our old concrete patio and replace it with pavers. We knew we would get quality work that would be sustainable for years to come. John met with us on several occasions and was patient with us throughout our decision-making when it came down to the design of our project. John had great ideas...he was detailed in his project plans, discussing everything from rip up & removal, drainage, piping, design and layout. John took the time to come to our house on several occasions until every detail was discussed and finalized. He even met us at the supply place to look at our options re: pavers. Our project was broken down into two parts - 1) a rear patio off of our house and 2) a paver patio surrounding a new pool as well as a black top driveway. Part 1 was completed this Fall. John and his crew were at our house every morning as scheduled. They worked diligently to complete the project in 4 days. His crew was very friendly and communicated with us throughout. John kept us updated via text and phone calls, even sending us pictures of the progress throughout the day! He had our kids create a time capsule which he buried for them. The work was neat, organized and all cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of project. We have yet to decide on landscaping but the groundwork has been laid by John for irrigation. Part 2 will be completed in the Spring, giving the area around the new pool install time to settle. Will update review once that part is complete. Pics are before/during/after

Work was done in a timely matter. Workers were friendly and polite. My wife and I love the work they did. Very neat and professional. We also had them repair our back patio. The pavers were starting to sink. they power washed when they were done. Looks like new.

The drainage is still horrible. The owner Kevin stopped responding to my calls and emails. He brought his young children to the job, and put them to work. I would not recommend him, nor would I ever hire him again. I wouldn’t be surprised if he changes the company name.

We hired Four Seasons to redo our 30+ year old siding, which included our 3 story home and detached garage. In addition, we had them repair our roof and fix our foundation in the back of our home. This became a massive undertaking and we are so completely thrilled we choose them. We asked for job references and spoke with 4 different home owners who had nothing but amazing things to say about them. We compared their work to another larger company, and Four Seasons was out of the park; their level of detail was completely unmatched. Each home was literally picture perfect. If you’re hesitating – don’t! They are well worth the investment. From day one until the date of completion, Oscar listened to every single request and concern and continued to go above and beyond. We are so thankful we had him to work with from start to finish – we don’t believe anyone else would have taken the time out of their day to listen and give us exactly what we wanted (and then some). He is so honest and patient, which makes him such a pleasure to work with. Our foreman, Caesar and his entire team are so extremely skilled at their trade; the level of detail is unmatched. Our project was extremely detailed and time consuming and they were so very precise and thorough. We now have the home of our dreams – thank you Donna, Oscar, Caesar and everyone else for going above and beyond!

Everything was done more quickly than we expected because Anthony and his crew of about 7 workers came early and worked long days until everything was done. Anthony knew we were very particular about how we wanted things done so he consulted with us often and allowed us to make all the decisions. He also gave us his expert opinion so we were well informed. Our home looks great. Next year my daughter will need a new driveway and walkway and we would not hesitate to recommend LI Paving and Masonry.

I purchased the $189 Angie's list deal to clean chimney and install a cap. Fred's called to schedule and were very accommodating to work around my busy schedule. The office staff called the night before to confirm a time. then they again called when the crew was on their way. I really appreciated this excellent communication. This is very hard to come by. Tom and his assistant arrived and got to work. They were very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. They explained what they were doing. I knew that the crown probably need to be cemented and they took care of that for a very fair price. They recommended a couple of upgrades, but did not push the sale. I also appreciated that. After the work was completed they completely cleaned up in the basement and outside. I would highly recommend this company.

Thanks for the job well done!

The first time I used Ageless was to replace my chimney. That was in April of this year. I needed to have it done prior to a complete roof and siding job. They did an impressive job and I was extremely happy. I even received a call for a reference and gave a glowing report.
After the roof and siding job was done, I needed to have my brick steps and planter repaired, replaced, and re-pointed and the blue stone steps and capping re-secured. Without hesitating I called Ageless and agreed upon a price and start date. The weather set the start date back a week but that's to be expected. On June 11th work started and all was preceding well. I'm not one to hover, but I occasionally would check on the progress and ask if they needed anything. After a full days work, the job was done.
The bricks appeared level and true to the eye. However I questioned the color of the mortar, which was a bright silver. I would have preferred a dark grey or even charcoal.  I was told that it was still wet and that it would darken when it cured. It had overflowed onto the face of the textured brick was also flush to the brick edge. When I discussed this I was told to wait a short period then hose it down and it would come off. There is a brick walkway too that I didn't touch, however mortar had been dripped down its length. Again I was told to just hose it off.  I did as instructed to no avail.
I called the company a few days later and was told that they would stop by to inspect it. No one showed. A week later I made another call and the young lady apologized and said that they would definitely stop by and that I did not have to be there which was fine because I was traveling but didn't say anything. Again a no-show or if they did, no followup call or any sign of repair.
We are now into Mid July and before I traveled again I made another call and received another apology and another assurance that someone would stop by. Nothing. In between all of this I have had three large bar-b-q's to show off the house. Each time I was chastised by guests for not having a professional do the brick work instead of doing it myself. They are stunned when I tell them professionals did do this. They don't believe me.
A neighbor, who is a mason, stopped by and we discussed the project. He confirmed what I had already surmised.
The mortar is the wrong color, however this is a choice which I should have selected before the start. My Fault.
The mortar joints should have been raked back and not left flush. A weather or weather-struck joint should have been used.
As for the bricks, they should have been wet-brushed after each raking and all droppings should have been wiped up and hosed off immediately. He said the joints need to be dug out and re-pointed with the proper rake and the brick face needed to be power wire brushed. He didn't think power washing would work.
I spent nearly 75K to have my house redone because I can't to the work anymore. I'm frustrated that the job, which I never gave a second thought or worry about turned into a nightmare. I didn't give any "F" ratings because the opportunity to correct the job still exists. Pictures are available of course or just stop by if you're in the area.

Steve called promptly and literally scheduled the work the very next day. Him and his "guy" worked quickly and were meticulous about ensuring the work came out right. Site was left in generally good condition. Some cement residue was left on grass near building which would not have been a big deal, but it is synthetic turf and it will never "grow" out. Nonetheless, this was minor when seen in perspective. The original price was 100.00 less but when the work was underway, loose blue stone was found and the cost to re-cement was 100.00. I don't blame Steve for this, but it is a relevant detail. All in all, I am very happy with the work they did and I would definitely use them in future masonry work.?

Sherwood showed up promptly for the estimate. He was clear
about the work performed and an agreement was made on a fair price. His guys
showed up on time and performed the work.
The work site was initially not cleaned well. Numerous splashes of concrete were apparent on the building and surrounding area, and debris had not been cleaned. The new wall did not pour perfectly leaving a bulge, and the stucco blending within the entrance area was not done well at all. The edges on the cellar wall were left sharp and not relieved or rounded. Common (not polymeric) sand was poured into the paver joints near the new drain area. The experience left us very frustrated.
But this is not the end of the story. After reporting these issues to Sherwood, he was deeply concerned and showed up several times to address these issues. His guys cleaned the building, picked up all debris,re-stuccoed the entire wall, rounded off edges on the cellar entrance, cleaned and applied polymeric sand to the paver joints. In short, they pretty much gave me the best job possible and made good on trying to make me happy.  If the measure of the contractor can be seen through the lens of how he stands behind his work, then Ageless deserves an A+. While it?s true that the initial work was imperfect, Sherwood got right on top
of that. I would  use Ageless chimney again for the confidence and professionalism they showed in the end.

After checking with 5 other companies, all listed with Angies List, I settled on Ageless, not because of the price but because of the first impression that Sherwood had left. Ageless was the last company to give me an estimate and to be honest,  I had just about made up my mind to choose another company. But obviously that changed. Sherwood spent a great deal of time with me during the estimate inspection.  What changed my mind was the fact that he went down to the boiler area and checked the base of the chimney along with all off the vent connection points. None of the other companies did that.
The job was scheduled to start on Monday March 30th, however I received a call on the previous Friday that it would have to be rescheduled. Normally this would be very aggravating but the young lady that called me from the office (and I apologize for forgetting her name) was extremely professional and explained the reason to my satisfaction. I was able to adjust my schedule without a problem.
It was rescheduled on for Wednesday April 1st. The crew arrived early and went to work. By the end of the day I had a brand new chimney complete with liner and caps. The crew was very professional and aside from leaving me with a new chimney, you would never know that they were there in the first place. The roof, surrounding area, and basement were spotless.
After speaking with 4 other companies I had a good idea on the cost and we definitely got more than our monies worth.
