Not well! I like to support local small businesses in my neighborhood and these guys are right around the corner. So I've gone in a fair number of times and spent at least $300-500 there. Always some snobby attitude but whatever. Anyway, this month (June 2020) I reluctantly paid a $35 online booking fee for a repair consultation at the shop, by appointment. I showed up on time (two minutes early) and kindly greeted the mechanic who was posted out front. I stood six feet away with my mask on and started to ask questions. He was rude, disrespectful, and quickly slammed the door in my face telling me to "read the sign" and "call ahead to check in for your appointment - if you have one." So I did as he instructed. It took another five minutes of calling and waiting on hold with an obnoxious message on repeat before I could speak to someone. The woman who answered was curt and dismissive on the phone. Once transferred back to the shop, I explained that I would rather take my business elsewhere, and I politely asked if they might consider refunding the $35 fee. Of course the answer was "NO" served up with another snide comment. So keep the cash bike jerks, and you'll never have to see me or my wallet again. I'll be using one of the friendlier Black-owned alternatives right here in Crown Heights.

I sold our two 40 year old Raleigh Grand Prix bicycles to Erienne and Joe, the co-owners of the business. They completely restored both bicycles and they look beautiful. They also tuned up my son's Bianchi bicycle. Erienne took the time to explain to me how they were going to restore the Raleigh s and then explained to me how they would tune up the Bianchi bicycle. They did a really nice job on the restorations and they completely tuned up and waxed my son's Bianchi bicycle. They are honest, professional and very knowledgeable about restoring and repairing bicycles. It was a great experience from start to finish.

I probably paid less for a high-quality bicycle, then what I would have paid for a piece of junk, at a big box store. John, the owner, is a great guy. The staff is top notch. I would recommend this place to a beginner, or a professional. They have it all.

So i found these guys shortly after opening. I already had a bike and a bike shop i used. But they were local. So i brought our bikes in for a tune up. They we very quick , the price was right and they really friendly. After talking with them they said the repair and sell snow blowers. Again i had a guy for that but he usually got busy and it would take forever. So i tried them out. I plow snow so i needed someone who was quick and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I have 8 snow blowers. I brought a couple in for new paddles and they had it done the next day. Something broke on another one and they had to order the part. That one was done the following week. They have done an amazing job on everything i brought them. I have now bought 2 additional snow blowers and use them for everything. Thank you mike and your amazing team.

I had a flat tire last month way, way uptown- at the George Washington Bridge. I took my bike in to get fixed and I was amazed at how quickly they got it done, 10 minutes maybe. I didn't even have time to finish the coffee I bought next door. The guys at the shop are very friendly. I got a tune-up and had an odometer installed here last fall, and the work they do is very good.

They got my bicycles in on time and were great to deal with. They told me when to bring in the bikes and when they would be completed. They also kept me updated on what they were doing and how everything was going.

    Mr C's Cycles Inc
Mr. C's Cycles is a great place to go to have your bike repaired.  they're honest, reasonably friendly and fair.  I trust them especially after having received expensive and poor service from bike shops in nearby neighborhoods.

Wonderful service from start to finish. The store is run by an older gentleman who has clearly been working with bikes forever. The store doesn't look like much; it's tiny and jammed floor to ceiling with bikes, equipment, and accessories. But don't let that fool you. Tell him what you're looking for, and he'll show you what he has and give great advice for making a decision. And his prices were better than the sporting goods stores I also looked at. I also wanted a rack for carrying things on the bike, and he installed it, no charge, and would not let me out of the shop until he was satisfied that it was just right. I will definitely go straight to him for anything bike related in the future.
