    My Mercedes ML 63 AMG's rear bumper got more than dinged, so it was time to find a reputable body shop.  I searched high and low and "Tier 1 Collision Center" was the highest rated body shop closest to me.

    I spoke to Anthony over the phone and asked him if I could text him a picture of the damaged bumper for a quote - he said "sure!".  The quote came in pretty much to what I thought it would be - with body shops, you really do get what you pay for, so you definitely don't want some fly-by-night shop that will do it for dirt cheap.

    I brought the Mercedes in, and Anthony confirmed the quote.  He then shuttled me back to my place for free!  I was told it would be ready in 2 days, which was a great turn-around time.

    Exactly 2 days later, my ML 63 AMG was ready.... it looked fabulous!  They even had the car washed.  I looked over the repair meticulously and could seriously not tell the bumper had ever been damaged in the first place!  You guys rock!!  Very professional body shop with a seriously talented crew!  Don't even waste your time going elsewhere!

    The provider took great care to buff it out and also pointed out several other very minor blemishes which he also took care of. It was obvious that he takes great pride in his abilities and wasn't satisfied with just a good job. He delivered a great job. This was a brand new car (one week old) and I was really distraught because the car wash felt the damage was very substantail. So for $80 it was like new, and I'm very satisfied. The job was done in 30 minutes.

    Provider arrived early ,was personable,professional & courteous.Completed job satisfactorily.Even managing to compound out scratches on roof before waxing.I`m completely satisfied especially with the convenience of him coming to me.

    Without being introduced to these people by my mechanic, I never would have found the place or considered using them. A large paint shop as a back industrial building had zero curb appeal.  They suggested I go across the highway to Toyota and also get an estimate from them as well, which I did,  Toyota was very professional and gracious as well (but much more expensive).  They did later explain the positives of their repairs over Toyota's as well, which was very interesting.  They were not able to do the painting as fast as hoped initially, so it took an extra day for the work - but the job looks perfect - and still does a month and a half later.  Sadly, I declined their offer of a good price to take out other dents and scrapes I had, so I live with those.  Their business card also lists a phone number of 941-228-3907, but I used the other number.

    Now this is how Groupon should work! Silver Lining Detail offered a $50 off Groupon, so I figured I would give them a try. Unfortunately, a lot vendors treat you like a second class citizen if you have a Groupon. Not SLD! Theses guys treated me first class all the way. Setting up an appointment was easy, and when the day came, they came early. My van is used to bring my three kids to soccer, the stables, get garden and lawn supplies, bring hay to the stables, etc. It was a mess. SLD said "no problem" and went right at it. The job they did was simply outstanding. The glass was completely streak free, inside and out. The dashboard was perfectly clean and shiny, but the steering wheel was NOT slippery at all. And they let the wax fully dry before buffing it off. I have found no one else that does all three of those things to perfection like SLD. The van looked great, inside and out. I was extremely pleased. But the great service didn't end there. I had gotten a different Groupon from a different car detailing company to clean my wife's SUV. Long story short, they left me high and dry and I had get my money back from Groupon. Silver Lining then really did something amazing for me. When I spoke to Matt, the owner of SLD and told him how this other company never even showed, Matt offered to do my wife's car for the Groupon price the very next day if the weather held out. Matt was willing to give the discount all over again even though I had already used my Groupon and was willing to do a last minute detail to cover up another company's incompetence. I couldn't believe my luck. Once again, they showed up early and, once again, the job was done to perfection. It would be hard for me to recommend these guys enough. They treat you like family even if you never used them before. They are beyond courteous. And, most importantly, they do amazing work. If you want your car really clean and for it to look it's best, this is detail service you need to use. Silver Lining is a pleasure to do business with. I will be using them again!

    Simply one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. After several attempts and messages that were never returned, I finally made an appointment to have my wife's car detailed based on a special they ran with Groupon. November 1st was agreed upon, weather permitting. I get a call from Joel on October 25th. He needs to move the appointment to November 2nd because November 2nd is predicted to be three degrees warmer than November 1. 3 degrees. Over a week away. We all know the weather folks NEVER get Central Ohio temperatures wrong a week out! I thought the call was a prank. Turns out, Joel was serious. It required me doing a massive rearranging of my schedule, but Joel made it clear they were not going to work on my car unless I agreed. He kept pushing me to bring my car into his shop to have it done. It was pretty obvious that they didn't want to come out East, even though the Groupon said they would.  I explained that simply was not possible due to the distance from my home to his shop. Oh, and they don't have a waiting room, so I would need someone to pick me up and bring me back! We agreed that they would show up at 11:30am on November 2nd - the same time we had scheduled for November 1st. I made sure Joel knew that whatever day we agreed to, he HAD to come before noon because I had family obligations each evening. Noon on November 2nd rolls around and no B&B. I call Joel's partner, Brad, and he doesn't return my call. I call Joel, no answer. I page Brad. Brad insists he's not late, "the book" says my appointment was at 2:30pm. At NO point, was the time 2:30 EVER discussed with me. It wasn't possible to have the car done at that time and for me to get where I needed to be that evening. NEVER HAPPENED! When Joel and I discussed the 24 hour "3 degree weather delay", I asked him to hold for one minute so I could bring up my calendar on my computer to make sure I knew exactly when the job would have to be finished. I told Brad that was wrong and he said "if it's in the book, that was the time discussed". I called Joel and he insists that was time. Turns out Joel was the one who put 2:30 in the book. Both of them were absolutely adamant that they could not have made a mistake. It was all my fault. So, I rearranged my entire schedule, accommodated their ridiculous one week out weather forecast for those all important 3 degrees, and they blame me for their incompetence. It's pretty obvious they got themselves in over their heads with the Groupon deal. That's why they were pushing so hard to have me bring the car to their shop. Saves them time, travel, and money. If either of them were professional enough to say, "I'm sorry. We got overloaded with the Groupon and we made a mistake.", I could have been understanding. But their arrogance, their rudeness, and the fact that they were so offended that I dared to be upset was simply to much to endure. I asked Groupon to refund my money. Ironically, the week before I had my other car detailed by another company that had issued a Groupon, Silver Lining Detail. They did an amazing job, showed up on time, and I didn't have to rearrange my entire schedule because of a potential 3 degree difference in temperature a week before the job was scheduled to be done. I'll be posting their positive review later. Look elsewhere for car detailing. There are several really good, professional car detailing companies around town. B&B isn't one of them.
