    Brass Eye Center
Once it was determined that my eyes needed to have the slow growing cataracts removed, Dr. Brass and his team quickly set up all of the preoperative, operative and post operative appointments that would be required. My wife and I spoke to a counselor in Dr. Brass' office who answered all of our questions. In addition, I was provided with a packet of items that would prove helpful during the two separate surgeries needed and they had all of the prescription eye drops needed ordered at my local pharmacy for pick up that same day.. Although the thought of having surgery on my eyes was creepy, I found that these procedures were easier than having a filling done at the dentist. For both of my procedures, My wife and I arrived at the outpatient eye center and was on my way home in just a few hours. No pain! During the surgery I was in a 'light' anesthesia 'haze' and not specifically aware of what was occurring, although Dr. Brass spoke to me throughout.. This is a good thing! The procedure itself took all of 15 minutes and after a short stint in "Post Op" found that I could see better than I had in years. Dr. Brass and company were extremely helpful and reassuring. They took great care to put me at ease and made sure everything went as planned. I myself worked in the Health Care field for over 40 years and know how shoddy some practices can be. Dr. Brass and team were first rate and they use all of the latest technology. It isn't likely that I will have cataracts again, but I would definitely return to this Practice if I ever had any other issue with my eyes. The cost to have both eyes done was about $3,000 out of pocket which includes the facility, preoperative, postoperative and anesthesiology fees. But this will depend on your insurance and their deductible schedule. I rated the cost as "A", but it is what it is. I did some research of other local Ophthalmology practices in my area as provided to me by my insurance carrier and I did not see any considerable differences in the Gross costs. I initially went to Dr. Brass on a recommendation from my PCP. Glad I listened to her!

    Wolner, Dr. Barbara W.
I have been going to Dr. Wolner for many years. My main care physical referred me to her for treatment for Glacoma. She is a specialist dealing with Glacoma and Cataract surgery. AT the time I first went to Dr. Wolner she gave me a complete eye exam and already found a stage 6 Glacoma in the left eye. Shortly after, the first check up, she preformed laser surgery for the left eye and doing great with out the high pressure note in the left eye before the surgery. I have since continue to see Dr. Wolner and have had Cataract surgery also to the left eye. She is very knowledgeable in her field and her office staff take the time to give you the one to one help for appointments and assist you and the doctor in a timely manner with your medical situations when needed. Dr. Wolner is a very busy doctor.

    Clark, Dr. Steven
Dr. Clark is the physician assistant, RPA.  I didn’t even realize he was a PA when I first started going to him.  He knows so much that I thought he was a doctor, but he is very knowledgeable, young, friendly, and intelligent.  You can just tell that he cares about his patients; he is a nice guy.  I have surgery for my other eye scheduled in March.

    Davison, Edwin
I have been going to this doctor for twelve years. He's extremely professional. Sometimes when you see him you need to wait, but that's because he takes all of the time with you that he needs. He's very caring and is always concerned about his patients. He's very steady and has a very kind attitude. He explains everything very well and answers all of your questions.

    Davison Jr, Dr. Edwin A
It has always been a good experience with Dr. Davison. My primary doctor sent him to me to keep track of diabetic eye changes. Dr. Davison is always very thorough and precise. My husband goes to him as well because he has a suspicious "brown spot" in his eye that the Dr. closely monitors. Besides monitoring my diabetic eye changes, Dr. Davison helped me to understand my ocular migraines. A few years ago I had my first, and it was a very frightening experience. Dr. Davison explained in detail what happens in an ocular migraine, but before that, he did a battery of tests to make sure it wasn't something more serious. The only weakness in his practice is that he has eyeglasses service on site, but it offers little variety compared to bigger eyeglass shops. Although--they do give you excellent, focused, and personalized service, unlike the big shops. I strongly recommend Dr. Davison to anyone.

    Davison Jr, Dr. Edwin A
I was in ER late Friday night experiencing symptoms of retinal detachment. The ER doctor called dr. Davison for consultation and he set me up to come in the first thing on Saturday morning to see whether I needed a treatment or surgery to fix the problem. He did a thorough examination and was very kind through the whole process despite the fact that it was a holiday weekend and he opened up his practice that morning just for me (not even a previous patient of his). Experiencing such dedication and commitment to a patient's well being, I don't see myself going to anyone else from now on.
