    Newmark, Dr. Joseph M
I only saw Dr. Joseph M. Newmark once and it was fine. He addressed the problem that I was having. I had a follow-up visit with a nurse practitioner personnel. It was easy to get an appointment. Some doctors overbook and it wasn't really like that at all. There's not a whole lot of dermatologists in the area so he is kind of busy. He has some great art on the wall.

He is excellent. His punctuality, treatment, and bedside manner are great. The office environment and staff friendliness is great as well. I will continue to use him in the future.

They do a good job. I don't have to wait long in the office. Once I get in there, they see me in 10 minutes. I think Dr. Crandell has done a very good job as far as removing the skin cancers from my face. There is just a little mark there.

They offer a lot of services at the clinic. The Nurse Practitioner I see is available and usually gets me in on an emergency basis. She is nice and caring.

    Pusey, Chloe A.
Chloe Pusey is very professional. She seems to know what she is doing. I have seen her more than once and I like her. The office is punctual most of the times, expect for one visit, which seemed to take forever. The treatments seem to be working. The billing is okay too.

She is in Dr. Newmark's office, and I was seeing him before. Then I ended up with a mole underneath the breast, and I didn't want to see a man to take care of that, so I switched to a woman in his office. I like them. The only thing I don't like is that they have now moved to a very busy road, and I have to take a bus because I don't drive, and I have to cross the street. I am legally blind, and I have a difficult problem getting there. That is the only there that

I have only met the doctor just once. I see Chloe, the PA, and she is great. I had a disfiguring problem and she understands. She has a very good bedside manner. She is a good listener and is very sympathetic. I am 48 and it shouldn't be happening to me. It's a teenager thing. They worked with me because they had to exhaust all possibilities before they gave me accutane. It's like a wonder drug to me. But we can't stop taking it once the acne has cleared up. It's been a year now and I haven't had one zit. The medication has to be taken until we reach our weight-based dosage and they also have to also check the blood once a month. They have been careful about the cholesterol and the liver function because it affects those things. They have backed off the dosage now because my liver function was fluctuating and they didn't like it, but I still have to take it until my body has reached the weight-based dose. The dosage is based on my weight. I have to continue to take it until I have reached the dosage required for my weight, but I can't take all that I want because it would hurt my insides. My girlfriend took it when she was younger and she swore by it. Her dad was a doctor and he didn't want her to take it as it was new then. She did get it and she considered it a miracle drug as well. I cannot say enough good things about it. I have beautiful skin now. I feel confident to be able to walk out. I never used to go out of the house without make-up on, but now I go to the grocery store without any make-up. I felt like it was sticking out further than it really is. When people start commenting on how nice my skin looks, I know that people noticed it the other way. This girl is very meticulous about the blood and everything and keeps telling me that I am not there yet, even though my skin has been clear for almost a year. They were recommended by one of the doctors at the time when I had to get a referral. I have been seeing them for at least a year. This doctor wouldn't put me on accutane even though I told them I wanted the wonder drug. I had to go through a stage of other antibiotics to make sure that none of these other ones would work first. They worked and my skin started to clear up and all of a sudden I would get a huge eruption and I would go back to them. When we go through menopause and don't get our periods in six months, the skin tends to stay clear anyway. I am going through menopause so I would be clear for two or three months and then I would get a huge eruption, but I still wouldn't have the periods. They couldn't figure out what was going on. They also told me that polycystic ovaries can cause this cystic facial acne. So it is necessary to see an endocrinologist to get the hormones checked. Polycystic ovaries can start in the teens. If there is male patterned facial hair, even if it is fine, that is one of the kinds of polycystic ovaries as we don't make enough estrogen. Plus during pre-menopause the estrogen levels become lower and the testosterone levels push forward. In the last two months I noticed that the side of my face had a little more hair that was more noticeable than what I had seen before. The doctor sent me to an endocrinologist to make sure that it was not the issue and they couldn't find anything wrong in the blood work, but I need to look into it because that would answer the question. I found a website with frequently asked questions and one of them said that the ovaries could be removed among other things to take care of the problem. If not life threatening, this condition can cause cancer, but it's a long term thing. The PA told me that I would have had it as a teenager, but as far as I remember, I didn't have a huge acne problem as a teenager. They are very thorough and I am very grateful. I feel better about myself and I feel I should be worried about other things like my weight. I am too much overweight. Because my face looks so much better, I feel that I can now work on other things. They also did the pap smear tests even though I didn't have any problems. He said if I had this condition, I would have had it since I was a teenager. So it takes that long for something serious to happen. They were great and I would send my friends there. They are one of the few offices that have it right in the billing and administration.

    Josephine C. McAllister, MD
Very efficient and streamlined. Nice use of technology for administration; however instead of biopsies there are more advanced ways to check people for cancer etc that are not invasive. Although I was given a detailed printout of the results of my visit, Dr. McAllister never went over these results with me. She seems rushed in her eval although other staff takes time and listens.
