    Proctor Roofing
The initial call to this company was answered promptly and a representative came to give an estimate. The original proposal said that work would begin the week of July 13. On July 28th, a crew swarmed my home. They placed plastic tarps over my boxwood hedges, which, by the end of the hot day, burned the tops and turned them totally brown. They also broke the top off of my favorite vintage Chicago Peace rose bush, which has bloomed in front of my house for years before I bought it in 1999. They left in their wake my gutters, haphazardly reattached, leaking, filled with water and discarded water bottles, nails and asphalt debris from the old roof. In addition, they removed, without my authorization, a portion of gutter downspout that was routed through the gambrel roof and roofed over on the front while leaving a hole in the back. Since they left, I have had to pick up bags of lunch garbage and water bottles left on both my neighbor's and my property and in the street, as well as chicken wing bones, cheese, cigarette packs and butts, nails, large chunks of old asphalt singles and other debris. Our contract stated that a new gutter would be placed on our garage, but that did not happen until August 8th, after several phone calls. At that time, the gutters on the house were supposedly cleaned, repaired and reattached. I asked the contractor that day to please replace the downspout that was removed and covered over and was told with a wink that "I've been doing this for 30 years" and that my husband had told him it was OK to do what he did. My husband has subsequently told me that he did not give his authorization to do so. I asked the contractor that he at least cover the hole left on the back side of the gambrel roof so that animals and insects could not get in there and he said that he would do it, but he didn't. I can only imply that he said that to appease "the little woman," not knowing that "the little woman" was the one who wrote the check. You can be certain that "the little woman" will not be writing a check to this company in the foreseeable future. As a postscript, I owned a small cottage on Seneca Lake which needed a new roof. I called this company for help and was told that someone would come to give me a quote, but it never happened. Guess it wasn't a big enough job to bother with.

ALL THE WAY CONSTRUCTION AND PROPERTY SERVICES
If you are looking for a reputable contractor, keep looking. This company is not worth the time for a phone call ! My wife and I hired this company to prep an area in the back of our garage and to pour a concrete slab. What a mistake we made. First they did not order enough concrete, the order was 2 yards short of what was needed. Second these guys told us that the mix was way to wet to finish. One excuse after another ,what a disaster All The Way Construction made of our garage floor! the finished product was so poor that this company said they would remove the concrete and start over. The next day Tim Anderson( the proprietor of All The Way Construction) and his concrete master, James, showed up with a compressor and a jack hammer . They worked for hours and busted up less than 1/4 of the floor. Then they came to me and said the job was to hard for them to complete and picked up their tools and walked away. My wife and I were left with a larger mess than what they started from. This company has no training, no skills, and absolutely no problem scamming senior citizens. Take a look at our photos to see what fine craftsmanship All The Way Construction has to offer. If you decide to hire this company get all of their insurance info up front.......you will need it.

This company is super! They are professional, courteous and extremely helpful.. We needed to contact them again after 2 years because we needed help with needing to trim some of the fabric because it had stretched.. The gal I spoke with immediately emailed me the instructions on how to do it! I would without a doubt recommend this wonderful company..

    Cook Contracting LLC
I purchased and assembled an awning from Home Depot. The awning site was on a two-story window without any access but by ladder. They came, they quoted, they took into account all my concerns, did an apparently solid job, took my check, and gave me a card. Came within days of a cold call from myself. Very satisfactory job overall.

    McGraw Home Improvements
He was very prompt and very honest. He showed me all the paperwork that I wanted to see. He is very good. I have had roofers before and they could not fix the problem that I had. They never came back. So, I hired him. I would highly recommend him. He could figure out what the others could not. My roof had leaks in certain areas. It turned out that it was not the roof, but it was the window. He was good. He did work for my neighbor because she liked him as well. I paid $1,300 for the job. I like him because he goes step by step about what is going to do. He recommends and suggests what needs to be done. He tells me things I do not know. He is detailed in his explanation. He cleans up after himself. He is a workaholic. He will inform me if he will be delayed. I will use his services to install a window for me in the future.
