    Elizabeth Saarie MD
I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Saarie. She has been my primary physician since she opened a small practice in Baldwinsville, and when she moved to her current location, I followed her. She has provided my well and sick care, including my yearly gynecological exams. Dr. Saarie has always listened carefully to me, and treated me with respect and concern. I trust her 100%. I recently moved to Philadelphia, and it was difficult saying "goodbye" to Dr. Saarie. I doubt I'll ever find as wonderful a doctor.

Very well! I called to request a new patient visit since I had to change family practitioners and was given an appointment within 7 days on a day and time convenient for me. The person on the phone was very professional and helpful. Asked If I wanted the paperwork they needed filled out mailed to me or if I could pull it from their website. The website is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The day of my first appointment I arrived early as requested. The receptionist was available quickly & completed her paperwork efficiently. I waited a few minutes in the waiting area and was called up promptly. The nurse was very friendly and professional, asked questions and also explained some of the details about this office. The Dr herself was also great. Asked plenty of questions and we set up an appointment for a full physical.

It went fine. Dr very attentive. Nurse at this visit very friendly, introduced herself as she should. This has been a problem before. Last visit I had to pull the nurses name and tittle out of her. All in all this visit went well. Disappointed that my MD ismoving to another job in the company and will not be doing primary care anymore.

A nice big lot made parking easy. Confusing lobby area (no signage directing you where to sign in) but very friendly and efficient staff once someone realized I was confused by where to go/what to do. Short wait to be directed to an exam room where intake with a wonderful nurse occurred. Not sure how long before physician arrived (the nurse came back a minute before the doctor arrived to ask if I was alright with a student also attending the visit). This was more a preliminary office visit to get established with the practice and see if the doctor and I were comfortable with each other. Having a student present added another element to the visit, when everything was already new. Not sure that in retrospect it was wise for me to agree to it but since my daughter is looking to attend med school, I try to be open minded about training opportunities!

I My GP is Dr. Christiano, however there are many other dr.'s and np's at the office. Some of them are quite good. My experience with Dr. Christiano has been less than acceptable. After going to the office for the same issue 3 times and seeing 3 different dr.'s to get three different diagnosis's, I saw Dr. Christiano. He did some basic blood tests and when that came back "normal" he told me that the problem was in my head and that I needed to see a therapist. Well... several months later I was finally given an accurate diagnosis when the symptoms became too acute for drs to ignore. Like I said, there are many drs and np's in the office and some are quite good. The office itself is less than well organized and seems to be plagued by lazy office workers. I recently went back to college and needed my immunization records. When I requested them from the office I was told they couldn't be found. I asked what I should do- did I need to then get a "titers" test to determine what I had been exposed to? They said they would not do a titers exam without first having immunization records!?! This put me in a rock and a hard place with my college as I could not start classes without the medical records. After calling and asking multiple times I finally wrote a letter expressing my concern that as a patient there for over 20 years they could not find my medical records. Suddenly, the records were found. Also - prescriptions are only faxed to the pharmacy, they will not give you a paper copy, and more often than not they are either not faxed to the correct location or they are not faxed in a timely manner so that when I get to the pharmacy I have to call the office back, wait on hold for 10 minutes to speak to a person, wait while they find it, then tell me they haven't faxed it yet. If there were other good GP's with as accessible office hours that were taking new patients, I would switch in a heart beat, however, I cannot seem to find any in the area. So for now, I only request appointments with the dr.'s/np's that I trust- Betsy Carlisle, Dr. Augustine, Dr. Picciano

Everything was wonderful. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through anything. I had concerns and each were addressed individually. I did not feel good on a Saturday morning, and was able to get right in without a problem. Love the hours, love the enviornment

    Brodowski, Dr. Michael J
He gives his patients a lot of time. He's quick to refer to specialists. I'm very pleased with him. His availability, treatment, and bedside manner are great. The office environment and staff friendliness are great as well. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

    Fiacco, Dr. Paul A.
I have been a patient for about 7 or 8 years. I think he is very thorough, very good, and he knows what things are in a short time. He is out of a practice so there is a lot of doctors. There is always a wait for him, but I think that is because he is the head of the practice. I always wait about an hour or so for him.

In the beginning I was impressed with the practice. Then he just wasn't the doctor I first experienced which I have been very surprised about. I have gone to him for about 2 years. There have been some problems that I had decided were not serious enough to change doctors. His staff has in general been very good and pleasant. What has made me decide to change doctors is his refusing to treat my high blood pressure after I had asked him about it, my insurance company sent him a letter stating that I may need medication, and I even asked a staff member why he would not treat me. He did not give me anything to lower it. I am a diabetic, high blood pressure and high cholestrol, overweight and have a family history of heart attacks and strokes on both sides of my family. It took him two years to send me to a Cardiologist who told him to give me blood pressure medication before he gave me anything. The specialist has also added another medication. When I talked to Dr. Augustine about the results from the testing as he explained it to me that among other problems I have a slightly enlarged heart. When I asked him how that happened he said that it was because of my high blood pressure! The very problem he had not treated me for! I am currently looking for a new doctor.
Another episode I found very disturbing was when my 14 year old cat had surgery, was doing well, and a few days later I found him dead on the living room floor when I woke up and went to give him is AM pain medication. Seems he threw a blood clot and died instantly. I buried my precious little guy the next day. Later I hyperventilated and could not stop it. The on-call nurse told me to call an ambulance,. . They took me to the emergency room. When I followed up with Dr. Augustine he said I had over reacted!
The other problems I have experinced with him and infrequently with staff were not enough to make me find another doctor, but had me wondering if I should stay with the practice. He never even said he regretted not treating my high blood pressure and causing me to have the enlarged heart.

As usual, the process from start to finish was very enjoyable. The receptionists and PA's are genuinely friendly, and they are just as friendly on the phone when you call as they are in person. I travel for work, so I've missed appointments without notice before and they have always happily rescheduled me. The waiting room and entire facility is clean and has a home-like atmosphere. Even on their busy days I have never waited long. Been going there for a few years now, and I haven't had a negative experience yet.
