Tile Installation reviews in East Syracuse

    Buza Construction of CNY Inc
They installed a new tub/shower with tile surround, new toilet, vanity and medicine cabinet as well as all new fixtures and shut-off valves. The sub-flooring and water wall needed to be repaired too. I have a new electric baseboard heater and GFI outlet switches. The Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring was a great suggestion by the owner, Rick and it looks great! They teamed up with Dannan Plumbing to handle the install of tub, toilet and vanity. You could tell they have worked together many times and have a great relationship. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very pleased with the results and would definitely hire them again.

    The Maids of Syracuse
The ladies were very polite, friendly & professional, but not thorough! Mirrors and glass tops not done properly. The bathroom, which I stressed needed time & elbow grease, was only wiped down ,at best. They seemed to rush, as it got later, as they had another job to get to. There was a dustcloth left on my bookshelves in the study, with all of the decor misplaced,as if they were called out, and never got backt o it. The price was expensive and the result was less that average. They gave me a $25 discount, because it was my first time. I would have rather had the service!

    Syracuse Tile & Marble, Inc.
I want to start by telling you that I dont usually take the time to write reviews but I feel it is necessary to let you know what I feel about Syracuse Tile and Marble. I dealt with the owner Sal and two gentlemen by the names of Ryan and Dave. I must say that they are the friendliest and most helpful guys ever. Sal, the owner, worked out every detail with me from beginning to end. He was awesome in helping me design the natural stone backsplash for my newly updated kitchen. I told him I wanted to do the project myself and he fully encouraged me to do so, instead of trying to convince me to pay to have it done. I had a million questions in which he was so helpful in answering every one of them in full detail. I never felt like I was bothering him in the least. The product he helped me pick out is exquisite and made my new granite countertops really pop. His staff was also great in every way from showing me the many products available, right down to carrying my order to my truck. They feel like family after a few short visits. I suggest that you give these guys a good look when shopping for tile, granite, or marble. Although I did the labor myself, I saw pictures of some jobs that they have completed, showing me that they are superior in their craftsmanship if you would like them to create a masterpiece in your home.

They came when they said they would, were done just about when they said they would be, and did an excellent job. Butch took the lead on this project, and he is a perfectionist in the best way.  We had all walls replaced, toilet, tub, tile and two built-in cabinets installed.  They also were very patient with my crazy idea of putting a stained-glass, LED lighted faux window in the bath, which came out beautifully!  They work on an hourly basis, with the customer supplying materials, which I really appreciated since I wanted to design the space myself.  All told, we got an amazing new bathroom for just under 10,000.
I would hire them again in a heartbeat...this is one courteous, professional businessman, hat's off to Patrick and his team! I only wish I could post pics of the final job!  They said they would put some on their site, but I don't see them yet.

Well it didn't go good. I found this guy to be actually quite rude and I hope that people see this and don't hire him. I was getting estimates for a small kitchen update (add in 2 base cabinets, add in one upper cabinet, remove old tile backsplash, add new tile backsplash) and he had a really crappy attitude. We were trying to add in a breakfast bar that was close to our sliding glass door and he didn't think that there would be enough room to do it but he certainly didn't have any ideas. When I told him that we were putting granite in, he didn't like that and he made it known. He told me that I had to go with solid surface. Needless to say, I didn't even want an estimate from him because I just wanted him out of my house. We ended up going with someone else who completely saw our vision and knew that it could be done. I think this guy needs to work on how he talks to potential customers because he somehow still wanted my business but wanted to talk to me like I wasn't worthy of his time or attention.

Excellent. Tom, the lead man-of-all trades, was diligent and professional throughout the entire job. He planned out every step before he did it, never made any assumptions about knowing what I wanted and kept me apprised, so there would be no surprises. The quality of the work is excellent.

    BATH FITTER - BFU275
Installer showed up on time and completed job in about 4 hours with minimal interference to my life. Did an excellent job with replacing tub and walls, sealing the area around the tub and walls and cleaning up after himself. The only problem was that the setting on the valve handle to the shower was not reset on the hot water line. A call to the company resulted in an immediate dispatch to my house of a technician who righted the problem in 5 minutes.
