    Hence & Sons Garage
They are very, very good. I'd use them all the time. They're very professional. They don't overcharge, if it takes 20 minutes they charge you for 20 minutes.

    Burghardt's Auto Service Inc
I took my Nissan versa in to have them check some noises out, and to fix up what a previous repair place had done.  It went very well, as usual with Burghardt's, and we would definitely go again.

    J & J Automotive
My old Nissan pick-up with 113,000 miles was rattling terribly. Took it in and was told it was a series of things that needed tightening and a broken shock. Diagnosed only what was necessary, and at a price lower than I expected. A week later on my way in for the repairs, I had a mishap on the highway when some lug nuts came loose. I thought I had a broken axle and a possible blown clutch. Had it towed to Jand J and again, they diagnosed the problem as minor and fixed only what needed to be fixed (a used wheel and new lugs) ...and at a lower price than quoted. This would have been a golden opportunity to rip me off or inflate the price, but they did not. They also helped solve a credit card problem with GE Money Bank and get me on my way. A good experience. They are not the cheapest, but they are honest and do quality work.

    Burghardt's Auto Service Inc
They are extremely expensive. I went to them because they were convenient to me. The guy that runs is a nice person and all, but when he is explaining to you about the price that he is going to charge you. He is in the business for years, but he couldn't fix my car issues with the engine. I would not use them again.

    Fuccillo Hyundai of Syracuse
Fuccillo Hyundai of Syracuse are very efficient but they are very expensive. They have a couple of service which are not unique for them and what is convenient is that if your service is going to take long, they will drop you home and then pick you up when the service is done. The staff is not really chit chatty, they will make recommendations to you, they are not pushy. My experience with them has always been good and they have always done what I wanted. I am selling my car a week from today and I will buy another car from them.

The overall experience was not what I wanted. The salespeople didn't seem very interested in making a deal. I was shown some cars, but there was virtually no follow-up or attempt to sell me a car (i.e. a serious discussion about possible pricing deals, exchange values, etc.). I went to another Subaru dealer who went out of their way to find me a car that fit my price and needs.

Monroe Muffler/Brake and Service by the Walmart on Bridge Street in East Syracuse has worked on my car several times. They are honest, trying to save you money where they can. An example: I had a coolant leak in a pipe going from water pump to engine. Replacing that pipe would have been pricey. They figured out how to patch the pinpoint hole without replacing the pipe. The difference was in the hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend the guys there. Johnny Castle, the manager, is awesome. Ed and Jake, who worked on my van were awesome.

Our regular go to is no longer there. We weren't sure if everything would be the same without him but the staff was great. They got us in quickly, got the work done efficiently and we were out of there as usual. I like this specific Dunn Tire because we've had great experiences with every car we've had. Not all Dunn Tire locations are all the great. We were highly satisfied.

    Alan Byer Volvo DBA
Well, I have a Volvo. Few people outside a Volvo dealer can service a Volvo. This means options are limited. Byer is as good as any dealer, and are as expensive as any Volvo dealer. If you have a Volvo they are reliable, courteous and do decent work.

I purchased a new 2011 Subaru Outback, the car is ok, the agreed price was fair, and then consequent service has been ok to at times tedious. Within the first mile of leaving the dealership it was obvious something wasn't right with car. There was a vibration at highway speed. Other issues have come up and while the service department is understanding, it has taken may trips to fix problems and some of the vibration issue continues. I have gone as far as having a regional service advisor drive my car. He acknowledged my concern with a vibration, but said it is as good as it is going to get and there is nothing more than can do. I think the service departments hands are tied as they will only act (perform service on issues) when directed by Subaru.
