Ed was very helpful in choosing appropriate stonework for our project. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. Dunrite Chimney & Stove
We were pleased with the help & advise we received from our service person, Anthony. He explained the construction of our chimney; what was right and what was wrong, and how we could correct the problem. He also looked at our oil burner, hot water appliances. (We use fuel oil). The chimney was cleaned, swept & the smoke pipes were removed as part of the process. An estimate was given, in writing, with diagram, for future work to be done. We had no trouble scheduling the appointment. The staff was helpful and friendly.

They looked to be okay. The guy was very prompt in calling me back. He gave me an answer that was acceptable to me. I thought he did a very good job presenting himself. I had called other places, and they weren't open or they were grumpy and rude. That, of course, is a giant turn off. This fellow, I called, and five minutes later he called me back. He was very on the spot. I have read reviews on New York paving, and they seem to be good. I thought his approach was rather good. I liked the way he presented himself. He acted like he wanted my business. He sounded very organized in the way he presented his information about what would be done and how he would do it. It sounded like he had a very confident approach. I was impressed enough with this guy that I want to follow up and do more research. I will definitely call him.

I did a lot of work on my home , many contractors and I would have trusted Eddie with my wallet. He is the most honest, hard working, true to his word man I have met to this day. I wish he he did everything as this went so smoothly , his quality of work was unreal and his price was fair. I am thrilled.

    Quality 1st Maintenance
Fiance and I were on a budget and the fireplace seemed to be falling apart so we called Oscar for a cleaning and consultation.  The damper was rusted out and not opening or closing so he replaced it with a lock top damper.  The fireplace had holes you could nearly see through so he re-pointed using mortar and also installed a chimney cap (which was a little crooked though).  Overall, thrilled with the quality of the service, the price, and Oscar's professionalism.  Can't wait to start burning!

    R. Anthony Vincente Home Improvement
This review was a long time in coming. I have done a lot of work to my house, both interior and exterior, and I have never come across a contractor quite like Anthony (Tony) Vincente from RAV Home Improvements. He was the most upfront, honest, reliable, thorough and trustworthy contractor I have ever used. The work to my house was pretty extensive, including exterior masonry, and we changed  plans on him midstream, but he took everything in stride. Nothing was ever an issue for him, he took tremendous pride in his work and always wanted to make sure we were satisfied. At one point, when we wanted to change some windows, which required some reframing, I thought it was going to be an issue, but not for Tony. It was just done without a problem. He removed an old propane heater from the garage. also a last minute decision on our part, even using his own plumber. He recommended a mason for the front masonry work, and coordinated with him very well. The bottom line is that the house looks utterly fantastic, like a new house, and we have received so many compliments. Again, Tony is very honest, takes tremendous pride in his work, is always very reachable and overall made a very large exterior project smooth and easy. I would absolutely use him again for any additional work and I would have no hesitation recommending him to family or friends. Customer satisfaction and getting the job done right are his primary goals and it show in his attitude and his work. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. Thank you Tony!

Ed's service was just amazing.  I had planned to have some shrubs removed before the work began, but had not done so when Ed called to say he would be starting the next day.  He had his workers remove three large shrubs, cut them into manageable stacks and remove the roots.  They then trenched out for cobblestone borders along the driveway, removed asphalt from the lower portion of the drive and set new pavers in place.  Their work was meticulous and they took great care to clean up at the end.  The following day they removed the broken concrete from the entryway, poured new concrete and finished up the driveway.  I cannot say enough about how professional and courteous everyone was.  I am delighted with the outcome and will definitely use Ed's company in the future and recommend him to others.  Thanks, Angie's List...I was delighted with my experience.

Ed gave me his undivided attention as to how he recommended doing the repairs to our side porch made of concrete and block.
The porch was coming apart, the top was caving in and the sidewall was falling away. In addition, there are two piers on the porch supporting the roof which would need to be supported. There were other structural repairs necessary to this project.
He explained, very clearly, in great detail how and why he created this plan. I was prepared to hire him to make the repairs until my brother became available and offered to do the repairs himself.
Ed showed great confidence in his ability to make all the repairs necessary and told me how his crew of masons are well seasoned and qualified to do any work that he asks of them.

Eddie Costanza came and looked at our 60 year-old building and developed the plan to save one of our commercial buildings. It was an expensive plan but very extensive in the repairs. The firm worked long hours and through a couple of weekends to get the job done very quickly and professionally. Eddie kept in contact to let us know what was going on and what progress was being made. The tenant happened to be extremely sloppy and it took some time to work around his junk.

The steel girders were sitting on brick columns that were beginning to crumble. This was then pushing out the rear wall of the building and the roof was pulling the front wall inward and cracking the block in the front of the building. Then it was discovered that one corner of the building had never been tied together and there were basically two walls meeting in a corner. Some blocks that had placed at ground level originally were now below grade and beginning to disintegrate. This was all addressed and Eddie said that this building will have no problem lasting another 60 years.
