It’s fabulous. I’ve gone to him multiple times; I would go to him again. In fact, I have an appointment to go to him again. He and his staff are excellent. I’ve gone there many, many times.

    D n J Full Auto Care
He is a very polite person to deal with! Always calls me when he finds the problem with a price quote (which was very reasonable) I have referred him to friends and family and always heard great responses!

    ROYAL CAR CARE
They have always been very professional and very honest. I have stayed with them for 35 years because of their being honest, they don't charge us for a service that we didn't use, their professionalism, and they're just nice people.

Wow......where to begin?........Sadly I didn't look to see how poorly rated this place is (on many other sites).... but did this on the spur of the moment and sometimes you get burned. On Monday- September 12, 2016 I went out to Farmingdale with a friend, to see an owner about purchasing a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. (Through Craigslist) My friend had test drove the car the day before and thought it was a good buy off craigslist. I contacted the owner and did test drive it the next day. I met the owner (super nice and with a stack of paperwork showing he was the owner of the car and years worth of receipts of if being maintained. I thought the car drove well, but obviously at 13 years old (2003) ---knew it had to be looked at and preferably at a garage with a lift. I drove over to Zippy Lube to check the records on the car (that was done recently) and found that the owner had done frequent oil changes and other service. They were busy so I looked across the street and saw a GOOD YEAR auto body place- AA Tire and Service and decided to inquire about the possibility of taking a look at my car for the prospects of making an offer on the vehicle. I spoke to Eric G (The manager) and he said it would be $55 with tax but they would take it for a test drive...put it on the lift and take about 30 minutes to look things over. I agreed and they began. After almost an hour, we spoke to the owner's son (small Chris) and he gave us the ins and outs of the car. That overall it was a good car but obviously could use a little work. I explicitly indicated I wanted the A/C fixed....the exhaust fixed...a tune up and rt rear axle repaired and the valve cover gasket changed. He said the rotors---brake pads were ok --the Timing belt was changed and it had plenty of life....and the car drove fine. Ok great I thought- I made an offer on car, purchased it and (THIS IS WHERE I MADE A MISTAKE) took it back to this place to do the work. BAD MISTAKE- especially without doing research..... Small Chris tells me the car will be done on Tuesday (9/13)..I tell him I can't get there until Noon on Wednesday as my friend has to drive the 30 miles roundtrip to get me- he says fine and we part. I get a call on Tuesday from Eric G that the "new" price is now $1,675..I am flabbergasted...as I was told $1,000 by small Chris---Eric gets off phone and says he will work with me--I tell them I also want all 3 windshield wipers replaced--an inspection- and a rt brake light replaced as well. (so no big add ons) On Wednesday they still tell me they are waiting on a part- tell me to come at 130 instead of 12- I come at 120..sit there until 230 and they still have no part. I have to leave to pick up my son and they patch up what they could and tell me to come back with auto later- I pay $1557 and I am STUNNED as this was not agreed upon but I have to leave.... ok I leave- as soon as I get onto Route 109 I feel the car shuddering when breaking and pulling to the left when not (what gives?..I call Eric G and he has the audacity to tell me --"it can't be from us as we did not even touch the brakes or the wheels?") I bring car back 2 hours later....I am made to wait for another 90 minutes...while I am told the "Pins" are frozen and the rotors aren't good and need to be replaced. I ask about the price I just paid how it was NOT agreed upon at that cost. Big Chris (the owner) rambles (as his son small Chris can't look at me)...about all the work they did....I am tired of fighting and just want to get out...Big Chris takes it for a test drive and agrees that something is wrong and it is "UNSAFE" to drive.......tells me again to bring car back again and he will "throw in 2 rotors" for cost...but he is not sure that is the problem and takes NO RESPONSIBILTY for why the car is acting like this NOW. Funny at this time even small Chris can't look me in the eye and walks away as he knows they screwed up some how and I have everything documented. (did they forget their station did the NYS inspection?..LOL)... I leave and very gingerly make it home with the car. I call around my area and find that my usual stand by company- Mavis is willing to do the work. Prior to going over there, I contact Big Chris once more to see if we can work something out (Monetarily wise) for compensation of the TERRIBLE service- from repairs to customer service-- he again reiterates.."I will do 2 rotors at cost and tax"...funny why would I take him up on THAT offer where they have lied....have done crappy work and it is 30 miles away??....I ask again if we can work something out fairly (as I do not disagree they did some work with new parts----BUT I got a car that is in worse condition then it was dropped off to their company----and spent $1,557 for all the aggravation and STILL needs to get repaired locally......Big Chris refuses...and I bring the car to a reputable location (Mavis) which did all the work that this company missed and then some!...The car is now drive able and updated... Bottom line--Since I will be going to small claims court soon against above.........and since the time while I was sitting there 2 different past/current customers came in and left screaming upset.....my advice?...STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Goodyear in Akron, Ohio was notified as well as Nassau County BBB and others... again be warned------STAY AWAY- unless you don't mind the aggravation....and READ the past problems this place is associated with...

SAL & KEN FELICE'S AUTO REPAIR

My husband and I had used this station previously for minor repairs. We found them competent and reasonable. Since they advertised themselves as being able to repair foreign cars, we suggested them to our son.  Our son's car  (a 2000 BMW), repeatedly stalled and had some other mechanical problems. Before making an appointment for repairs, my husband called them and inquired if they'd be able to work on a 2000 BMW; he was told by "Brian" without hesitation, that they would be able to work on the car. My son dropped off the car on Monday, August 10th along with a description of the problems he was experiencing.  Since he is not a mechanic, he did not speculate on the cause of the stalling. On the afternoon of the 11th, I received a call from the station and was told that the cause of the stalling was holes in the hose. The mechanic told me that the replacement hose would arrive the following day, and that my son's car would be ready the following afternoon. He said the work would be a little over $600. My son was thrilled when he heard the price, and then requested additional work (repairs to both front windows among other things) to be done. On Wednesday, I drove with my son to pick up the car. We arrived a little before 5pm. The car was not yet ready, so we waited about 90 minutes for them to complete the work. The two mechanics seemed to be having some difficulty fixing the two front windows. At about 6:30, one of the mechanics finally took the car out for a test drive. He returned after about five minutes and gave my son the keys.  My son paid over $1400. My son got less than FIVE blocks before the car stalled TWICE!  There were also now two warning lights on the dashboard. We brought the car back to the now closed station. The next morning at 8am sharp, I brought the key in and told the mechanic what had happened. The mechanic who had worked on the car the previous day, said: "We only did what you asked us to do. It wasn't really ready yesterday..." I didn't understand this response, since we would have only been able to tell the mechanic the problems the car was experiencing; we did not speculate on how to treat the problems with the car. My husband, son, and I were understandably concerned, but still had confidence in the garage. When my husband called the garage, he spoke to the owner, Kenneth, who was extremely curt. My son picked up the car at 5:15pm.  He was told that the mechanic had taken the car out twice with  no problem The warning lights were still on! Mr. Felice said he didn't think the lights were a problem. My son left the shop. Guess what? The car stalled TWICE before he got off of Main Street! When he called Mr. Felice, he was told: "I don't know what to tell you, Giovanni..." The car is now at a different shop awaiting repair.

I called the morning before thanksgiving, the asked me if I could come down right away. I did, and they took me right in, very friendly and courteous. I think it is family owned, in any event they are courteous to one another. I found them to be honest and fair. Would definiitely recommend.

    TIRES INC
They are pretty good. They have been maintaining my cars for 20 years. His prices seem to be fair. If the work isn't performed properly, he will make good on it and fix it at his own cost. I originally used him because my car was acting funny. It was late on a Saturday afternoon. His technicians looked at it right away. It wound up being a clogged fuel filter so the whole bill was $10. I've bought tires and had my cars serviced here. I've been satisfied with him over the years. They are responsive. They are very professional.

    BARON HONDA
We bought a new Honda from Baron in 2007 and have used the service department for the past four years. I brought the car in for the last maintenance oil change before the 100000 tune up. The service men have alway been helpful in letting me know what the car needs through the miles records. I was advised this time for brakes and timing belt replacement. An honest conversation with the decision ensued and I was happy with with the service mans advice. I can recommend the service to give honest appraisals of work needed and the accurate estimated costs given. My next new car will be serviced here also as I am confident they are working for your best interest at fair prices.

Their service department is the best out here in Long Island. You can call up and they’ll see your car the very next day. They have a beautiful and large waiting room with sofas like a big living room. They serve food, snacks, coffee, and drinks for free while you wait. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I went there because of the service. Their pricing was excellent. They gave me such a good deal on my car that I would be crazy not to take it. They don't try to push sales on you and they don't try to play any gimmicks like because of the loan we're going to add points, none of that. It is really relaxing to go and shop there. They were really responsive. As soon as I told them what I was looking for, they called me within 5 minutes to the house and they told me they had something. When we went there, everything was ready and we didn't have to wait at all. That had been the easiest place that I have bought a car.

    Sunrise Toyota
I own a 2004 Toyota RAV4 (with approximately 72,000 miles on it), bought at Sunrise Toyota and serviced there exclusively. On a recent morning, the car was very loud when I started it and I found that the tail pipe was hanging. I called Sunrise Toyota for service and brought it in the next day. Upon my arrival, a service rep greeted me. He informed me that it would cost $150 for a diagnosis, and if I agreed to have the service performed, the $150 would be applied to the service charges. I know dealers charge on the high side, but I've had a certain comfort level having the car serviced by the dealer rather than risk damage or negligence by someone whose capabilities I don't know.
I told him to go ahead and examine it. He also pointed out my inspection was due and I told him to go ahead with that as well. A short while later he called me back in to present the diagnosis. The exhaust system (possibly not the muffler) needed replacement and would cost approximately $1200. If the muffler needed replacement it would be about another $500. He had to order a part and offered to provide either a ride home and pickup the next day, or a loaner car. I opted for the loaner. The car was done the next morning. It's been running fine.
I love my car and I've never had any problem with either the quality of the service or the people that I've dealt with at Sunrise Toyota. I had the option to drive away when I was informed of the $150 diagnostic fee, and it should have started a bright red light flashing in my head. But the tail pipe was already hanging off the car and I was reluctant to drive it any more than necessary. I never dreamed that they'd charge so much for this repair. By the time I got the $1200-1700 quote, I was on the hook for the $150 and I didn't know if the exhaust system had been further compromised during the examination. There was no doubt in my mind that they'd find it necessary to replace the muffler and I was looking at a bill in excess of $1700 (plus the inspection), which is exactly what happened.
To sum it up, my service experience at Sunrise Toyota, as far as quality, professionalism, etc., has been fine. But they slap you with a nonrefundable $150 diagnostic fee and then present an outrageous service quote. This is the first time in nearly eight years of owning this car that I can remember being told of this policy. It seems likely that they must have had a lot of people walk out the door after receiving a quote, and so had to try to recoup the cost of their time to make a diagnosis or provide some incentive for customers to have service performed.
I will not be going there again, for either service or my next automobile purchase.
