Because of Budds project management skills, the house project was completed in 3 months when other contractors told us it would take 6- 8 months! Budd was very responsive and quickly addressed issues and any problems that arose. ABasic Basement CoRecently, we hired Basic Basement to finish our basement. Gail was the project coordinator and Kevin was the project manager. We are very happy with their work and would like to hire them again in future. They wrap the work before they their timeline though we had Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Gail was always on top of the co-ordination with contractors, us and township. Always received prompt and clear response from her. All of our township inspections has been scheduled within couple days of the work completion. At the first day of the work, Kevin has explained the overall process: what they will do, how long each task will take etc. which was very clear. He has provided his guidance throughout the whole project like which drywall to use and why, which lights, etc. Their contractors were showed up on time, professional and respect our house. He was here almost every time to inspect the work when contractors were here. Very nice to work with. Highly recommended!- Rakhi S.

AETC Home ImprovementEddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. For major projects, you will not have to hires anyone else, he has the best on his team. I recommend Eddie and ETC at the highest level.- Joann L.

ABasic Basement CoThe most professional and well managed basement remodeling company we have ever worked with. They came highly recommended by our friends and they fully lived up to all our expectations. Starting with the initial estimation, Jerry was super professional, accommodated our COVID19 concerns by scheduling overviews via Zoom, and answered our every question. No excessive salesmanship, and super professional. Next, our project manager Gail and project supervisor Bob did an excellent job in kicking off the project, getting the required permitting paperwork to us in time, and walking us through every step of the process. Once the work started, everything went like clock work, which is quite amazing, given all the COVID19 restrictions and precautions they had to take. Gail and Bob kept us updated every step of the way, and everything went very smoothly. If they said product was going to get delivered on a specific day, it got delivered on that day. If they said specific work was going to get accomplished, it was accomplished on time and to perfection. When the inspectors came by, they actually sang praise to how great the framing and electrical work was. We've done a lot of remodeling in our home, and seldom has an inspector actually complimented the work. Needless to say, the inspections passed with flying colors. In summary, if you want your basement finished at a reasonable price by an outstanding time, you can't go wrong with The Basic Basement Company. They really are an outstanding team, and nothing about their work is 'Basic'. I would highly recommend.- Janak R.

AExcellent service and communication. Estimate process and job scheduling was smooth. Team arrived timely and stayed in touch before and after the work was completed. Both Joe and Roy were great to work with and meticulous/contientious regarding the work quality, and also observing covid precautions while in my home. The job was a little tricky due to tight work-spaces and heights, but they worked through that and made it look easier that it was. Also, Joe suggested an alternate approach (a remote switch) as an option which eliminated the need to break a wall to run the needed wires. That was appreciated because it saved extra work (and I just painted that wall). Great job done and easy experience overall. Would rehire any time.

AHe was able to inspect the breaker that kept tripping. He was also very helpful in advising me that my newly purchased home was wired improperly and needed to be fixed. I contacted my lawyer and was able to have the seller bring electrician to fix the issue. Floria Electric Inc also advised me what I needed to ask the seller's electrician to provide before starting the work. I will definitely hire Floria Electric again to work on other electrical work in my house.

AEric Vorrath and his assistant Doug, are truly remarkable. We have called Eric many times over the last several years-to install bathroom heaters replace outlets, fixtures, etc. Eric is incredibly capable and my wife and I have the utmost confidence and trust in him. We have lived in this house for almost 43 years and Eric is our go-to electrician. He is a superb diagnostician and he identifies what needs to be done and does it- quickly and capably. And he is a thoroughly kind and decent man as well. He has the "Three C's"-= competence, caring, and character. He is "best in class". If you need an electrician, he is the one to call. Yes, he is that good.

AI have used John and his family for projects around my home for over a decade. They are honest and reliable, but their quality of work is phenomenal. He has done all three of my bathrooms, a back splash in my kitchen and the newest addition of tile wood floors in my basement... each project gives that “WOW” factor. I recommend him to all of my friends and family and he’s fair with pricing and time lines. My favorite handyman service.

AWorking with Kelly Brothers was the best experience I had working with contractors. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations at every level. I went to KB in May with the idea of having a pool and some landscape work done. Immediately talking with Kevin, you can feel the passion he has for designing amazing backyards. He came out to my house and evaluated the property and what my needs were. Of the 2 other landscape "designers" I had over, KB was the only one that had a vision and not just standard pavers and flowers around a pool. Before Kevin left, he had a hand sketch of ideas for the entire backyard area. It was unique to my yard and needs. It was amazing to say the least. Pool was delayed due to permit issues but once it was complete KB got to work. The crew was extremely friendly. They had no problems explaining what they were doing or answering any of my questions. They had to work in the cold muddy mess due to the rain but they did an amazing job. I was completely blown away how it all came together. They made some on-the- spot changes that really made a difference. These guys are a mix of architecture, artistry, and craftsmanship, The final product was jaw-dropping. I cannot wait until the spring to see the trees bloom, the tall grass sprout with the new pool. As for cost, I will admit, like most homeowners, given the cost of the pool I was on a fairly low budget of about 12K. After Kevin was done with the FULL YARD design, we went over what the best way to spend that 12K. That was the best part. While the full plan was well beyond 30K for the entire yard, he came up with a way to get some core items done and leaving some other things for "Later on". This way I can commit dollars to backyard projects over the years instead of in one shot. This was by far the best thing ever. I felt like he was building a long-term relationship rather than just a simple 1-and-done job for max dollars. In the end, I was able to bump the budget to about 15k as the wife really wanted a good amount of shrubs done this year. The end result is nothing short of spectacular. Completely exceeded my expectations (and hers - not easy!). In fact, it was so good, I put a deposit down on the next backyard project for next year. Now I know why Kelly Brothers has been around for 2+ decades - superior work.
