The appointment went well.  I was advised that I would need a Crown because that
would be the best way to fix the tooth.
I felt very confident with the explanation from the Doctor,  and asked him to proceed in that
    direction.

While I thought we were all going to be seen by Dr. Bornstein, he only looked at my teeth and not my kids'. The kids only received cleanings. Apparently you need to schedule an appointment specifically with both the hygienist and the dentist, otherwise, you'll only get the hygienist. I assume this is to make you schedule multiple appointments so that they can charge the insurance company for two office visits rather than one. While there are ~4 dentists in the office (Malkin and Assoc), there is only one hygienist, which means it feels more like a factory rather than a caring practice. The hygienist cleaned my teeth in under 10 minutes and didn't even floss them when she was done. It felt rushed and not like a comprehensive cleaning. After having my teeth "cleaned," Dr. Bornstein looked at my teeth very quickly. I told him that I had sensitivity in one of my molars, but he didn't really explain why or what I could do to alleviate it. He suggested I use a soft toothbrush since my gums were receding, but receding gums wouldn't explain why I would have sensitivity on the top of my tooth.
To be fair, I haven't had any dental work done by Dr. Bornstein since I haven't had any cavities, so his technical skills may be good (I can't speak to them one way or the other), but his bedside manner and the organization of the practice leaves much to be desired. We will be going elsewhere in the future.

He is excellent. All my kids still use him. There is nothing I dislike. His office is nice and his mannerism is terrific. He has always done everything very well, any kind of service that I needed. They will always fit you in. It is a small office, but it is nice. He takes interest in my kids.

I LOVE this dentist. He is gentle, fast, efficient and painless. He is old school and tries to save your teeth without pushing for root canals and other procedures that may not be necessary.
Once I started seeing him I could never go to another dentist. I bring my son there too. My only concern is he is going to retire one day and we won't have a decent dentist.
He may seem a bit distant but that's just his personality. He really is a wonderful dentist and will give you feedback when you talk to him. His staff

It was the worst experience I ever had and like a complete dummy I trusted them and went back! They told me I needed a root canal. Insurance didn't take it so I had to pay out of pocket. The first woman took an Xray without putting the lead shielding on me. The dentist doing the root canal dug into my jaw for 3 hours and broke a drill bit on me. It ended up getting so infected from being open so long and her dirty supplies. I ended up in the hospital that night in so much pain. The dentist didn't even prescribe a painkiller, she told me to take Tylenol.
I ended up having the tooth pulled. Then having another tooth pulled because a few months later they told me I needed another root canal.
Then, I went back for a cracked tooth and they told me I needed THREE root canals! I left and went to another dentist. Turns out I didn't even need ONE. I lost 3 teeth because of that office and their push for root canals, not to mention the horrible pain I had to endure because of getting infected.
I wouldn't even send a wounded animal to that place. It's horrible and completely about ruining good teeth so they can make money from root canals.

    Dr. Lawrence R Rosenzweig
Everything went well. Dr. Rosenzweig is personable, reliable, and reasonably priced. Furthermore, it's easy to schedule an appointment, and I don't have to wait long to see him. His office is clean and efficiently-run by a professional staff as well.

    Raskin, Dr. Brian M.
The first time I saw Dr. Raskin I was given the royal treatment, i.e. friendly staff, free cappuccino, a tour of the office and a promise of pain-free treatment under sedation consisting of several crowns and a cleaning. I agreed to prepay the entire amount for a small discount of 3%, which seemed unprofessional but I went ahead anyway. One of his staff, Maria, urged me to put in a good review on Google immediately which I did since the consultation seemed to go well.
I had my treatment on 11/29/2012. First of all, Dr. Raskin put in the sedation IV himself. He seemed very nervous, took over 15 minutes to put in the IV with a lot of painful poking and prodding. He said that he collapsed a vein and I ended up with bad bruising and pain in my arm for a week. I never had this kind of problem before with any other health care provider. During the procedure,. Dr. Raskin said he may have to send out for one or more of my crowns from a dental lab instead of fabricating them on-premise as promised. He did not give any reason for this. After a wait he came back in with a crown and proceeded to give me a very painful novacaine shot that resulted in pain in my  nose and upper lip for several days afterward. When I came out his assistant informed me that I had to pay $180.00 for an "extra filling" on top of the $3,000 bill already prepaid. Since I was under sedation I have no idea what kind of extra work he performed, if any. Unfortunately after all that the crowns he inserted are ill-fitting, very rough and bad looking.  A week and a half later I still have a lot of pain and will have to have the work redone by another dentist. I have cancelled my second appointment with Dr. Raskin due to all of this.
No amount of friendly staff and cappuccino makes up for very bad dentistry. I would NOT recommend this provider.

    Bederman, Dr. Rostislav
I have been using him for about eight years and I have been very satisfied with his services. I think that he is personable, quick and painless, and his work lasts. He has a very clean office and uses good sterile procedures.

    Lambroia, Dr. Lawrence A.
He is great. He is very up on the latest techniques and dentistry. The office is so clean and the staff is wonderful. The hygienists are fabulous. It is a wonderful practice. They are great with children. They keep in touch with the periodontist to make sure that everything is going along smoothly. They have always used a thyroid guard while taking x-rays and I am pretty happy about that.

After your first visit they give you a card to fill out and they call to remind you to make an appointment 6 months later. They are very on top of things and Dr. Klein is very nice and understanding. The staff greets me right away when I walk into the office.
