    Mr. Raynor was possibly the most unpleasant person I've ever met. The moment he looked at my broken built-in GE Profile microwave/convection oven, he said "There's nothing I can do with this. It's out of warranty. It's 13 years old. They don't even make parts for this anymore." (He also initially said he couldn't repair my stovetop, a secondary reason for the visit). I assume he could have told me he couldn't repair the microwave if he had just called to ask me for the model number before he showed up and charged $179 for the service call. When I said that it didn't seem correct to charge me that much for an appointment that was pointless because he couldn't work on that model, he blamed ME for only giving them the make/model of the microwave, and not giving the actual model number when I initially made the appointment. Knowing that I was frustrated, Mr. Raynor had several options on what to say to me, a repeat customer. He could have said: (1) I'm sorry, we won't charge you; OR (2) We need to charge you anyway, but you have the right to dispute the charge; OR (3) We can lower the charge because of the misunderstanding, OR (4) Don't' worry because that charge will fully offset any costs for repairs to your other appliances. Instead, he said, "You're a piece of sh-t. F-ck you."

    I joined Angie's list just to make sure that NO ONE gets treated like I was. This is the rudest most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. I was hung up on when I dared to ask when I should expect my appliance to be fixed.! Don't use them.

    They only offer limited number of Saturday appointment in a given month. I would like to get that appointment. For some reason in the year 2014, they are unable to give an appointment window that's shorter than 8 hours. Seriously, you don't have time to sit around for 8 hours waiting for somebody to show up. It's retarded. Honestly, they should be able to do better than other company. On the other hand, the guy came on the appointed day. I specifically requested afternoon appointment because I have to drive two hours from the city to the house to meet him, but they kept telling me that they're not able to tell me what time of the day. It was incomprehensible to me. They have limited number of Saturday appointment, and all of which were booked up in advance. But they couldn't know whether or not they could take me in the afternoon. I didn't even say that I had to have it at 3 o'clock. I just asked for the afternoon.

    There was a dishwasher repair guys that was highly rated by e-bays he was based on side farmer and I reached out to him through website and also directly on his son but he never respond. I tried multiple times and then finally he ended up. He did posting something on Angie’s list like he was not accepting anymore new work or something like that or I got an e-mail. I cannot remember how it happened. But it looks like radio silence forever. There was only one dishwasher and appliance repair guy in New York but I cannot remember those company names.  For every reviews and everything, there was zero response no matter how I tried. The last attempt I contacted them was sometime in July. I had a problem with the dishwasher and I need to get six as soon as possible, so, I gave up and ended up to serious.

    I have been trying to get a range serviced since 5/15.   After an
    initial visit you had to order parts.  There was no communication that
    the parts had arrived until I called.  Then, you arrived to find that
    you had ordered the wrong parts.  it is now 7/25, I have called your
    office several times and have not even gotten a call back with an
    update.  All of this and you have a $400 deposit.

    I thought they were fairly priced. They were great. I have used them previously as well. I have always found them to be courteous and professional. They are responsive to phone calls and they show up when they tell you they are going to show up. They are a very reliable service.

    This company charges $180 for a service call. They charged me for the first one and when he came back the second time, I got charged for another service call. I will not use them again or would never recommend them to anyone.

    Getting repairs done on the East End of LI in the summer is tricky. I waited about 2 weeks for an appointment. He returned my initial call promptly, called to give an appointment time as promised, showed up on time and did a great job getting the refrigerator working again. Very pleased.
