    577 Auto Care
It's just a couple of mechanics that do auto repair. I give them A's they are good, and I trust them.

They are really good to work with. They are very reasonable and trustworthy. They fix you car, and they are not trying to sell you things you do not need. We take my wife's car thats older exclusively to 577.

Horrible outcomes.  When I got there the first evening car #1 wasn't even started.  They had to keep one other car for an extended period of time.  Worse part, they did a horrible job.  Wheels weren't clean and shined.  Windows were dirty EVERY TIME!  Had to point out things every time I picked it up like it wasn't their profession or something.  By the time I got to the last car I gave up.  Picked it up and didn't say anything.

2 months ago, my driver side rear wheel gave off a burning smell; they "fixed" it be replacing a wheel bearing at a cost over $400.  Last week I brought my car to them, again, for the exact same symptoms.  They gave me an estimate for the "repair" which came in over $700..  Hey, since they couldn't fix it the first time, I wasn't about to pay them the second time!  gone elsewhere, and taking a couple friends with me,

Van was returned in a timely manner, repairs were done in a very professional manner that should minimize re-occurance, but because of the cold weather the paint ran in 3 spots. He did not spot these runs so I had to go back and have him buff those areas. One area will be repaired in the future. He performed this rework in a very timely and friendly manner which was covered under warrenty. Based on the Sprinters parked in his lot he is the place with experience in body work on these vans.

As always, it went perfectly. Working with these guys has always been a pleasure. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. I have never felt pressured into buying more expensive tires, in fact, I have had them suggest tires that were cheaper than the brand I inquired about.
The road hazard warranty is more than worth it as it covers the cost for tire rotations. In my case, it worked out even better since my tires wore out much earlier than expected. This is my third or fourth time purchasing tires from them, and it is always a great experience. I recommend them to everyone I know, and will go back again myself.

Car was taken in for work shortly after arrival (with appointment). Work was explained in detail.

Any new issues discovered (brakes) were explained in detail and there was no pressure to get work done.
Even with additional work required the car was completed close to estimated time.
Cost of powering steering repair was less then originally quoted.
Shop is extremely clean, waiting area is very nice, and service is very professional.

The last two times it was serviced at Northway Toyota, the service was performed without issue. However, a wheel cover was not properly reattached and came off before I made it home. They replaced it free of charge. The last time I had service, just before the free service expired, one of the technicians left greasy black footprints on the door sill and on the floor mats. I found this when I got home and complained in writing to Northway and to Toyota. I received no response from either. I would not recommend them, even for free service.

He kind of gave me a price. When I went to get the tires, he did a switch on the model of tire. When I protested, the guy that was dealing with him told me it was in the register like this. I came home. They told me he will be back so I called him and spoke to him. He hung up on me. I was shocked at that because I have been going there for 34 years. I haven’t been back. The man that owned it was Mitch and he passed away. I had never seen the guy I dealt with before and he acted like he owned the place. I don't think he was Mitch's son. I always had fine services there before but I did not want to call back because I figured I would get the same guy again. I had really liked the price but I really don’t like to hassle. So I ended up going to another place and spent a lot more on tires than I had hoped. That’s what happened. I had purchased tires there before and he was going to give me money towards them. Unlike a lot of dealers they resell used tires. They will buy them or take them on trade and give me a discount. He was going to give me $80 off. It was just the brand of tire that I had asked him for. I brought them rode up and then he put them down on the machine without telling me. I thought it was like bait and switch. What happened was; I was driving and I had a fairly new tire. I hit a stone and I blew the tire. When I tried to get a replacement they told that they didn’t make them anymore. I have a simple rule that I have to have 4 matching tires. It became a big expense and I wound up spending $800. It would have been nice if they had kept their deal. If the owner of the establishment calls me, I would seriously change my mind in the future and go back to them. The guy acted like that he had been there a long time. I have never seen him. I thought that they were good. I thought they had a very reasonable deal. Everything was positive until I went back to get the tires the next day. Those were not the tires I had ordered. I have been going to them since I was 18 to get tires and now I am in my 60’s.

The mechanic suggested leaving tires as is due to the fact that the best tires, those with the best tread, were on the back where they belong. I agreed and no rotation was done.
The oil change would have been perfect, except that like virtually any place you take your car, they overfill the crankcase! This shouldn't happen. I live relatively far away so I rectified the situation myself. Otherwise, I would have brought it back. They get another try at perfection in the future.

I last used their service last May. They're pleasant, professional and communicate well with their customers. I take my vehicle for most things I need done to it and overall I've been satisfied with them for the 3 or 4 years that I've been using them.
