They did an excellent job. They helped me pick out the wood type and gave me several options that I was not thinking of. They were very detail oriented and very efficient. I am very happy with their work and I would highly recommend them.

It went great. Andy was wonderful.he is the consumate professional. He was always available and patient. He answered our questions and gave us feedback. What I appreciate the most is his honesty and transparency. He is also cognizant of your time and if for some reason he is running late he will contact you. Andy strives to make you happy. His ultimate goal is excellence. Did I mention that he is flexible? I cannot count how many times we asked him to do something additional and he said yes. Andy is always in a good mood, forever cheerful. I highly recommend him. Andy is on demand. We will never need to use another handy man ever again. Andy is our go to person for life.

    Hire My Handy Husband
The best professionalism in the business. When I need to get a job done I go to someone i have confidence in , and that is exactly the feeling and Service you get from the start. My house had alot of work that needed to be done from kitchen flooring to dry wall , painting, as well as a bathroom and basement remodel. The great thing about the work that was done is that it came out exactly as I wanted it , and within a good time frame . I admit during this remodel there were times where I changed my mind a few times and I was pleased that he was extremely accomidating and patient with me , to get everything I wanted. Another plus was that it was affordable in comparison to other places , and it was all about the quality of the work no the quantiy i.e.like how many tasks can you do fast in a work day. So thank you very much for making my dream home.

Rick and his team did an amazing job. The walls were smoothed and cracks taped and filled; wallpaper removed; doors painted; bathtub area re-grouted; and then the entire apartment primed and painted at least 2 times with the finish color. They were efficient, neat and friendly. The place looks like new and I've decided to try them out on the wrought iron fencing in the front and back as well as the sofitt and front entrance.

The overall quality of the job was good, but I found the Company and particularly one of the worker very unprofessional.

I contacted Mr. Barthel and asked for an estimate. He contacted me expeditiously and gave me what I felt was a very fair price, and hired him to do the job. I was told that the price included labor, and all supplies, including the paint. I specified which paint I wanted and Mr. Barthel agreed. I was told that the job should take 3 days to complete.

On day 1, 2 workers show up. I found it a bit odd that the workers did not arrive in a Company vehicle, but rather on foot and on other days in a livery cab, but did not think much about it. Right away I started questioning their professionalism. The workers brought a cheaper grade paint than the one I was promised. when I called Mr. Barthel, he simply told me that he forgot to tell the worker about the paint. To his credit, the paint was exchanged.

As the job went on it was quite obvious that the workers were skilled in their trade craft, but got the impression that they were trying to be very economical with the paint, and on more than one occasion was asked by one of the worker to either go buy the paint, or give him money to buy the paint. The cost of the paint was deducted from the final payment, but again, did not feel that was very professional, since it was agreed that the paint would be supplied by them.

I also got the sense that Mr. Barthel, sub-contracted the job. The first down payment was made to Mr. Barthel, but the other payments, excluding the final payment, were made to the other workers.

What really aggravated me was the fact that the job took 3 times longer than what I was told when I got the estimate.

On one particular day, towards the end of the job, I called Mr. Barthel and informed him that I had to leave early for work (I usually work late hours)and not  have his worker show up to do the finishing touches that day, but rather have him finish the following day. I go out to walk my dog, and when I get back the worker was in front of my house, even though he was told my Mr. Barthel not to show up. He insisted that the job was finished and wanted to get payed that day, I told him I would pay him or Mr. Barthel when the job was done.

The following day Mr. Barthel and The worker show up and finish the job.

Again, the end product was good, but not a totally professional company. Heck, that worker even kept  my favorite hammer that he borrowed day 1 because he did not bring the proper tools.

Andy was my contact and he is wonderful. Andy was on vacation when I unknowingly contacted him. He responded in less than an hour.  We agreed on an appointment date. He was punctual. I gave him instructions left by the plumber of the work that needed to be done. Andy understood completely and provided feedback on the work. Because of the water damage from the pipe leak on the bedroom floor, Andy volunteered to try and find the matching wood flooring. He said to give him 2 to 3 days to try and find the matching wood floor and then he would contact me with a progress report. Previously, my sister had not been successful with finding the same wood flooring. True to his word, Andy called on the 3rd day to report that he had also been unsuccessful; however, shared that he was successful with finding the closest matching wood. Discussions surrounding if  all or half of the bedroom floor would be replaced occurred and my sister, brother and I agreed that replacing the entire floor with the new wood flooring would be the best way to proceed. Andy reviewed the work he was going to do and was receptive and flexible during the negotiation of the price with my brother. He gave us a time frame of one day. He came with 3 of his staff promptly at 8 am.  There was a queen size wood frame bed that we were unable to remove because it needed to be disassembled.  The workers graciously took the bed apart and put it back together.  Due to the weather, the walls of the bedroom could not be painted the same day. Andy informed us that his worker would return the following morning and he did so promptly at 8 and finished the job. The outcome was absolutely beautiful! Working with Andy was a dream. He is very professional and personable. Andy was always available. From his point forward, he will be the only contractor that we will be using. Andy is being highly recommended to friends and family.

They completed the job under the time planned. Both Ivan and Roman were pleasant and professional.  The first day they totally demo both spaces and brought it down to the wood on the floor.  Once they removed the cabinets and saw that they were in total disrepair, they went looking for new cabinets and brought me a selection within the original budget.  So I was very happy to have new cabinets along with new ceiling, pop lights and new flooring.   They give me additional outlets, which was much needed in my kitchen. I made the mistake of not going with their recommendation for under cabinet lighting and that was the only thing I did not like that had been done.  They replace it immediately with what they had recommended and I am so happy.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  Glad we have an Angie's list to find this kind of quality workmanship.  I am already planning on my next project with them.   Check them out...
