    Jacrist Gardening Services Inc
Plans were discussed and work performed on schedule and at cost. Excellent design and I appreciated Richard's personal supervision of the installation. His design has increased the "curb appeal" of my home!

    Tony's Tree Landscaping Inc
I was in serious need of tree removal service for my home. As a Veteran who is physically unable to handle the work, I wasn't too proud to admit I needed help especially with 30 plus potential tree and stump hazards surrounding my yard. It was so bad I wouldn't even let my kids play outside and I also could not keep up with the maintenance. I knew this was not going to be a cheep and easy job so I started to get estimates from local companies. My experience was not satisfactory, most wouldn't return my calls and when I could finally get someone out to the house, they acted like they didnt want to take on the job. Estimates were so high I almost gave up. Thank God my wife showed me a flyer from Tonys Tree and Landscaping. I was proud to see the three generations of Military service from their family and was eager to give them a shout. Within 1 hour from the time I called, mind you this was in the evening, Tonys truck was in my driveway. You don't get that type of service and response from a civilian owned company, thats for sure... Not only does Tonys tree service stand behind taking care of Veterans, they gave me such a great discount I will never forget it. When I mean discount I mean more than half of the lowest estimate I had received. Talk about earning a customer for life. These guys have the latest technology and equipment as well. Trust me I pay attention to details and not once did I need to ask for additional cleanup, they rendered the whole front and backyard cleaner than its ever been. Again I cant say enough good things about my experience with Tonys it just wont do them justice. What I can say is that you will not get better service or discount from anyone else in the industry. No wonder they have been in business for more than 75 years, it really shows.

Anyone who knows me knows me, knows me to be a fair and honest individual, so when leaving this review trust me when I say my snowplow service, Greenview Team Inc. in Clarence NY, is the worst snowplow service I have ever had! When and if they come to plow after a snow event, it is way too early before we leave for work leaving the snow at the end of the driveway to contend with, or way to late after we've arrived home from work. Yesterday 1/19/19, our first real major snow, they never came at all! Thursday night 1/17/19 we received 3 inches of snow overnight, no show again, so on top of the 10 inches Saturday, we had over a foot to navigate through all day as we went in and out of the garage. Now to their credit, they did come in the middle of the night (between 1-2 am)the next morning, but before the street plow came and left 18 inches of heavy snow at the apron of my driveway. And then on top of it, they plowed the snow up against the garage door, so when I opened the door to get the car out, a 20 inch mound of snow met me. So what was I just doing before I wrote this, snow blowing my driveway. I'm sure glad I paid $450 plus tax for this service, or should I say dis-service. Customers beware....DO NOT TRUST Greenview Team Inc..Even after repeated calls to ask nicely for better service, they continue their usual practices. Oh by the way, the owner messaged me after I left this review on another site and requested to talk this over, but has not called in person as he promised. GO FIGURE!

    GreenKnight Landscaping
Though all my years in Real Estate, I have owned, operated, leased and sold hundreds of property. With that being said, we have hired countless landscaping companies. Greenknight has hands-down been the most unprofessional and worst company we have ever dealt with. We signed a contract in which they agreed to a cut our lawn from April 25th until November 12th (29 Weeks). In this agreement, they agreed to cut the lawn every week, trim around all obstacles, blow grass and debris from driveway, and bag leaves in the fall. There is a provision in the contract that states: "A credit will be provided if less cuts were completed pending inclement weather." In three years of service, I have never once received this "credit". The first year we used Dom, we were unsatisfied due to his lack of attendance and the fact that he would never get back to us when we tried to get a hold of him, but because it was so cheap we thought we would give him another shot. In our second year, he showed up even less times and failed to answer our phone calls even more. We would have to call him basically every other week to tell him our lawn was never cut, at which point he was impossible to get a hold of. Finally after many attempts, he told us "our day" was on Fridays and he would come then. Once Friday hit he was once again a no-show. Once winter hit, I texted him asking for my cutting log because I knew he was at least 8 cut shorts of his 28, and he told me he would get it. I followed up a week later and once again no answer. I then would call and text at least 3 times a week for over 2 months requesting this information and he would ignore me. I still haven't received my log and I am assuming this is because he doesn't have one. I truly cant believe what a bad business this is and I wish I could go back and never hire him. To anyone reading this, if you would like proof of all the text messages and phone calls I have made over the last two months, please reach out to me and I will provide them. I highly recommend staying as far away from this company as you can.

    AJ's Tree Service
The price was a little lower than others, but in the same ballpark. But, they were able to do the work within two weeks. One of the pine trees was leaning over my fence and pool and could come down in a strong windstorm, so that was most important. They showed up when promised by 8 AM. They finished by noon. They cleaned up all debris. The workers were courteous and explained everything they were doing.

    The Davey Tree Expert Company
The crew arrived at approximately 12:30. They fired up the chainsaw by 12:45 and they were completed finished by 1:45. During this one-hour span, they cut down the tree, chipped all of the trunk and branches, ground the stump, removed the stump debris and raked up any shavings from the front lawn. I was extremely impressed with the speed, efficiency, tidiness and professionalism of the team.

It went very well! I contacted the firm for a quote, which they provided within a few days for both seeding of an area in my yard and weed control, as I had been doing it myself and it was beginning to show. The prices came in lower than I anticipated, and the weed control is lower than the price I paid several firms 10+ years ago per application. I needed additional soil for some landscaping I was doing myself, and asked whether they would deliver extra (for which I would pay, of course), and they were very accommodating, not only delivering it, but the crew dumped it in the area I needed it - not on the driveway or grass somewhere. The reseeding job was expertly done, and within days I could see results. It's come in lush and been mowed twice, and I would never have achieved this result on my own. Great job! As for the weed control, they have come out twice, and the first time they applied a granular substance. I was happily surprised to hear the hum of a blower, which was the workman using a leaf blower to blow the errant granules off my deck, sidewalks, patio and driveway. Nice attention to detail. The price I paid (below, approx.) includes the reseeding and 2 lawn applications.

    Semper Fi Solutions
Steve Armenia, the owner, came out and assessed the work and gave me a reasonable quote for all the work. He arrived on the date upon which we agreed, and first rather quickly removed the evergreens. He then got his equipment out to grind the stump, and took some precautions so that the resulting chips wouldn't fly all over the remaining landscaping, something I so appreciated as I had just recently cleaned the stone area and put down new weed barrier. When he was done, he use his tractor and moved - as a favor to me - the chips, wood and debris to another area of landscaping, saving me a lot of backbreaking loading and dumping. He was done with all this in very short order, and did all this with a smile on his face. Very nice guy.

    Drake Lawn And Garden
I bought my Snowblower from Drake and their eagerness to sell one to me is the only reason I gave them a 2. about 5 years later when it broke. I wanted to et to them for repair. I own a small car so I needed it picked up. They wanted to charge me I believe $25 each way endnote even pit it toward fixing it. so I finally found a friend that was able to bring it over for me. Then they said it would cost more to repair then what it was worth and asked me I would like to look at new one. My friend who helped me out told me he has a guy who can throw new engine on it for $100. We brought it over to his house. It did not need a new engine. I told Drake that was able to get it fixed. this was their response "That's great that you were able to have it fixed so reasonable. Thank you for letting me know. What part did he replace. We thought it had a broken connecting rod? I suppose we possibly could have Miss diagnosed it and if so we apologize" I responded this was the response from text. "I never saw an engine lock up like this. Good news is you did not break anything. There are not any bad scratches in the cylinder and the piston rings are still good. I had to take the head off then used a wood block and hammer. Tapped it 2 times. heard it make a click noise. After that put a pipe wrench on the SH (not sure what that is) and it was able to move again. It started right up. oil was not even dirty" i gave the guy $100 and he delivered back to my house. I thought it was important to tell Drake so I emailed them and this was the response "That is all well and good but we have to guarantee our work and if an engine is seized to free it up is nothing we could guarantee. It's fine for a backyard shop but not for a business. Hope it stays running for you" I will not use them ever again for service.

    Lavocat's Family Greenhouse
Rob had some great design ideas for replacements, and took careful notes as he prepared an estimate, which was the most thorough estimate of those I had. A couple weeks later, he and his team arrived on time, and ready to go. Rob walked through the plan with me, and then with his crew, all of whom were respectful and clean-cut. Everyone got right to work, and my yard was transformed! I was extremely pleased with all aspects of this project, as were my neighbors, one of whom came right over that day and asked for an estimate. I'm on the list for spring clean-ups, and I know I can trust Lavocats for their honesty, integrity, and work ethic. Many thanks to Rob and his team!
