I seem to have weak knees and even in my 30s had both knees scoped and an ACL repair done by Dr Hedderman. As I've aged I had to have another knee surgery. My procedures have all gone very well; I was seen promptly, the follow up and recovery went well and physical therapy was necessary which I completed too. Dr Hedderman performed the procedures skilfully and he attended to my pain and any follow up needs. I've been very pleased with this doctor and also with Dr. Alfred as well, who I have seen when Dr Hedderman was particularly busy.

I am giving them a Coverall because they lost a customer.  They need to update their website, take the picture down of the wrong building, and confirm at the time of appointment that they give the correct address to the patient.  Telling me you are in Slingerlands, when your office is toward Voorhesville is simply wrong.  There are many doctors (in their old building) and the name is justified, Slingerland park.  They are no where near there.   This is their website.  They are not there.

Dr Levine and his staff are all very professional, caring and concerned and committed to the comfort and well-being of their patients. Dr. Levine himself is an excellent practitioner and takes a conservative approach before jumping into any possibly unnecessary proceedures. He is also very gentle, which is a great quality in a dentist.

I can wholeheartedly recommend him for both his skills and the quality of his staff.

Very pleased with advice and treatment. Over the years I and my family have been to this orthopedic group many times, have seen a number of the doctors and have always found them to be very professional and seemingly very competent. I had two knee replacements last summer and am quite pleased with the outcome. My son had a very good recovery from a broken foot. I would recommend this orthopedic group to anyone in need of this specialty.

Dr. Shapshey gave me the most thorough exam I have had for my symptoms. He engaged me in the scope exam by having a screen on which I could see what was happening and he explained what he was seeing. He is a wonderful person who is impressively knowledgable and communicative. A great doctor all around.

Receptionist is part time, Monday and Tuesday I think and is in the wrong position with her personality. It was not just a bad day but the way she is talking to other patients that recommended Dr. Berkowitz.

Visit went well. We reviewed my history from the previous visit and talked about new concerns and possible next steps. Dr Dunne wanted additional tests, but gave me suggestions on ways to proceed.

My overall experience with him was very good. He seems very knowledgeable. He does not rush through his patients. He takes his time with you. He is very thorough, but not excessively, so he does not order x-rays or tests. I think he is a very good doctor.

Was thinking about getting plastic surgery to remove bags under my eyes.

I asked for a price estimate before making the appointment, because I did not want to spend more than a certain amount. When I showed up for the appointment, I found out the price did not include the cost of the surgical suite (operating room). The price about doubled when that was included.

My most important question was to ask the Dr how many of my type of surgery he had done in the past. He gave and evasive answer and changed the subject. I never found out how many he had done.

The bad estimate and the evasive answer made me uncomfortable continuing with this Dr or the group in general.

I have seen physicians in this practice in the past for screening endoscopies, so I attempted to see one of them this summer to help with the chronic diarrhea. Despite my complex medical picture, I was given an appointment (over a month away) with one of the nurse practitioners.
She gave me advice that was no better than what I could have figured out on my own and had me return for follow-up with another of the nurse practitioners. The second nurse practitioner was similarly unhelpful, and I had to insist on a follow-up appointment with one of the physicians. She just wanted me to come back and see her.
This is a poor way to run an office! Patients should be seen early on by somebody who can figure out what the problem is and make an informed plan. After that, nurse practitioners can provide much of the follow-up care. This office does the reverse. They start by making you see a nurse practioner who doesn't have the medical knowledge base to make a complex diagnosis or develop a reasonable plan. Then they have the NP provide ineffective follow up care until the patient complains.
Chronic diarrhea is as unglamorous a medical condition as you can find, but it's still important. It had a major negative impact on my ability to work and on my general quality of life. I got the message over and over from this office that they weren't taking my problem seriously.
