Our experience with Kitchen and Bath World was excellent; we are completely satisfied. We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Further, all the other Kitchen and Bath World staff we met were very helpful, and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. Greg, the lead installer, has an outstanding work ethic and outstanding construction / remodeling skills. Greg did meticulous work, and our home was always left in pristine condition at the end of the day. We will be recommending Kitchen and Bath World to our family and friends!

Excellent. Greg and his son were great to work with. Very responsive via email or phone. Highly recommended as the quality was great and price was very reasonable. We will definitely be a repeat customer.

It went wonderfully well. We are very pleased. Greg and Ethan are the consummate professionals. They were a pleasure to work with. We selected them through Angie's list because we liked the reviews they had received. People were correct. Greg came when he said he would. Provided an estimate when he said he would. He also kept us informed of any project delays. He provided ideas, and both Greg and Ethan kept us involved in the project as it went along. Their work was very professional, Each day they cleaned up after themselves so you would not have known from the rest of the house that any construction work was being done. They were very cheerful, honest and trustworthy. We would absolutely use them again should the need arise. An "A" or even an "A+ " mark is not sufficient for the caliber of the work that was done.

The bathroom turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Jim and Mike were easy, kind people to have in the house. Everything turned out perfectly. Jim put everything together to perfection. His suggestions were great, both practical and artistic. He went the extra mile to make the bathroom come together. He suggested alteration of the placing of the showerhead, simplifying the design, adding the metal trim on the left hand corner, designed and installed the border between the rooms, using both wood and marble. I think it adds a lot, as did all Jim's ideas. There were, of course, limitations as to where fixtures could be mounted. Even though I ordered extra tile for both above and below the decorative trim, because of the limitations from the structure of the house, the decorative trim had to be moved up or down about 10 inches from the original plan. Moving the decorative tile up meant that he would have no leeway (every tile would be needed- no buffer), but he offered to do this willingly. It would have been much easier to move the decorative trim down, but this looks so much nicer. The remodel cost just over 25% of the total house value & so I am very grateful that he went the extra mile to bring the bathroom together so perfectly. Its a wonderful upgrade to the house. The materials cost $9502 and the labor cost $15,675 What a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Very well. Allen is a knowledgeable, personable and skilled. He and Ray did a wonderful job. Allen is very patient and bothered to show me different options in materials and gave me good advise. They worked clean and cleaned up everyday before leaving. They were very reliable and finished on the projected date. A great experience, a great remodel.

I have had both pleasant and unpleasant dealings with contractors over the years. I was stunned with the honesty and professionalism of Gregg and Ed from this company. They are a class act from start to finish. Their estimate was precise and done timely. Their work began on time each day and the entire job was completed in the agreed upon timeframe. Their workmanship was excellent with great attention given to detail. If I wanted to add something or make a change it was never a problem or an annoyance. Gregg and Ed were courteous, respectful and most of all aimed to please! Everyone of my phone calls and emails was replied to the same day or the next day. They were so meticulous in cleaning up each day that you wouldn't even know there was work going on. Gregg and Ed go above and beyond and I just can't say enough good things about them! If you want a job that's done to perfection hire them and you won't be disappointed!

We asked to have the work done in two stages. For the first stage, we did living room, family room, stairs, hallway, foyer and the two bedrooms on one side of the house. We moved all the furniture ourselves. On the first day, the workers impressed us as being very efficient; there was no wasted time or standing around idly! The took a short break for lunch and were right back at it. The floors were sanded, vacuumed and the first coat of finish applied and they were done before 2:30. Having had this procedure done before, we were impressed at how much cleaner they left things than the contractors we had do the work several years ago. They were back on the next two days to apply additional coats. The following day we were able to move furniture back. For Stage Two, we moved the furniture from our dining room, master bedroom and master half-bath. Once again, the workers did an excellent job - one day of sanding then coating and then two more days of applying additional coatings. The experience was nearly flawless - we had one very, very minor glitch with scheduling on the final day of finish application, but other than that, I have not a single complaint. Our floors look beautiful. The cost, including tax was $3628. We have lived in our house for more than 40 years and have done many home improvement projects, either DIY or we've had them done professionally. Floor refinishing is a dirty, messy process - no matter now careful you, (or the workmen) are, the super-fine sanding dust gets EVERYWHERE. Cleaning up afterwards is a big job - there's dust on the walls, ceiling fans, window treatments - in little nooks and crannies you didn't know were there. And the finishing compounds themselves are highly aromatic - we requested oil base product. We are fortunate in owning a small RV and the is where we slept while this was going on. We both got eye irritation and headaches if we were in the house very long. Homeowners should be aware of these details before deciding to have hardwoods refinished - they are unavoidable. Bottom line: These folks did an outstanding job. I recommend them without reservation.

I made the mistake of using one of LL's installers, AARS hardwood flooring. My advice to potential customers is to use an installer that is recommended by a friend or neighbor. My bamboo flooring was installed in February of 2015. It looked beautiful for 2 weeks. Then it started to gap in various spots. I complained and was referred to LL's complaint dept. it took months of negotiating before the repair was done in June. The floor seemed fine for a while. Now, in march of 2016 it is gapping in several spots and popping up in another area. I do not want to have the second repair done by the same installer. Hopefully, I'll be able to find someone that knows what they're doing, even if it costs me more money. I found AARS flooring [the owner] to be unwilling to accept responsibility for his mistakes. I found most of the employees at LL to be rude, unprofessional and obnoxious with the exception of the store manager, Nick.

Anthony and his brother Pasquale are true professionals and craftsmen. From quote to final cleanup and walk through they were a pleasure to work with and to have in our home. We had three companies quote the work. We chose Acme for three reasons: 1. knowledge and understanding of our floors and the issues we wanted addressed, 2. emphasis on dust reduction, 3. choice of oil based or non-oil based finish. They were punctual and easy to talk with. At the end of each day we would review the work and they would adjust the next days work to address any issue we had. You may find someone less expensive but you will not find a more professional and talented company.

These guys are amazing!  The know wood, love wood, and really care about the final outcome.  They were prompt ,professional, and really conscientious about their work. Their pricing was extremely fair.  They were funny and pleasant to interact with, and we hope to put in more wood floors so that we can hire them again! Next time we will have them install too!
