Bob responded immediately to my request for a call back. He was able to fit us in very quickly. He was punctual and efficient and the area that he and Mike worked around was left spotless when the job was completed. He is extremely fair price-wise and I would and will definitely hire him again for jobs around my home.

    Bennett Contracting Inc
I have used a lot of contractors over the years but these guys are by far, the best. High quality workmanship, willing to work with me closely, answered all my questions, dealt professionally with change orders. I am so confident in them, I am able to head to work each day knowing all will be well. I highly recommend this company. The prices are slightly higher but the quality shows. They do what they say they will do with no corners cut. Thanks guys!!!!

    Jamcore Home Improvements
The bathroom turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Jim and Mike were easy, kind people to have in the house. Everything turned out perfectly. Jim put everything together to perfection. His suggestions were great, both practical and artistic. He went the extra mile to make the bathroom come together. He suggested alteration of the placing of the showerhead, simplifying the design, adding the metal trim on the left hand corner, designed and installed the border between the rooms, using both wood and marble. I think it adds a lot, as did all Jim's ideas. There were, of course, limitations as to where fixtures could be mounted. Even though I ordered extra tile for both above and below the decorative trim, because of the limitations from the structure of the house, the decorative trim had to be moved up or down about 10 inches from the original plan. Moving the decorative tile up meant that he would have no leeway (every tile would be needed- no buffer), but he offered to do this willingly. It would have been much easier to move the decorative trim down, but this looks so much nicer. The remodel cost just over 25% of the total house value & so I am very grateful that he went the extra mile to bring the bathroom together so perfectly. Its a wonderful upgrade to the house. The materials cost $9502 and the labor cost $15,675 What a fantastic experience. Thank you!

    Ado Construction
The toughest part was scheduling the appointment he had to cancel twice because he was held up at other jobs. He always called, was apologetic and tried to reschedule. I bought the service from an Angie's List deal. I don't think Ado is set up to take a lot of calls -- he does the scheduling himself. When he came, the work he did was very good.

    Huff 'N Puff

A very pleasant salesman came by and discussed the products that they sell, I think exclusively Anderson windows and doors, which are among the best products available but not cheap.   He gave a very through explanation of what they would do, how long it would take and how the product was made.  We didn't feel pressured to buy.  On the date of installation, the workers arrived promptly.  They removed the old defective glass doors and installed the Anderson door.  It took several hours. but they did a neat job, cleaning all the debris.  The installation looks good both inside and out.  One of the workers then explained how the door locks worked and gave suggestions for cleaning.  One small problem: a picture frame nearby fell from the wall and broke, probably due to vibration.  If you choose to do this work, you might wish to remove any nearby breakables. Unfortunately, they didn't replace the picture frame.

The Window Source of The Capital District
Outstanding.  Stephen came out immediately upon receiving the call to quote the job.  We discussed the various models/options.  I told him I was getting additional quotes and would get back to him.  He was 'a-ok' with this and didn't give any pressure to close the deal that day.  After reviewing the quotes & products, we selected The Window Source.  Stephen did check in with me during the quoting process, again not to pressure me, but simply to see where I was in the process and if I needed any additional information to make my decision.
I contacted Stephen and scheduled the job.  As we were also getting our house sided, they had to do the install and then return later to do the capping.  Stephen had no problem with this whatsoever.  The crew showed up on the date they committed to, introduced themselves and got to work.  The windows and doors took ~3 days to install.  They cleaned up each room as they progressed throughout the job...really couldn't even tell they were there.  They returned about a week after the siding was done and completed the capping.  Really professional, and really good.
So far I am really impressed with the product-the decrease in drafts and noise reduction from the outside is incredible.  Plus I have minimal touch up painting to do.
Stephen was great.  He was always 'checking in' on the job, communicating via phone & email, and really conscientious about his product, crew & satisfaction of his customers.

They DO! right. They are reasonably priced  If you need them their always there Rick always answer call back. Navco

    Let me start with WOW!!!

In October 2012, due to some physical issues, I was all but house-bound.  My only outdoor activity was occasional airings on either my deck, in the back of the house, or the small porch, in the front.  I spent my outdoor time watching Joe Navarra, and his crew, from Navco, transform my neighbor's home, from what was a lovely home, to what turned out to be a spectacular home.  I was impressed with many things that went on during the remodeling process, but mostly I was impressed with the way the crew worked together.  The weather was terrible for mid October.  We even had a 2" to 4" snow fall, but in spite of the cold and wet conditions, these men seemed to be enjoying the work they were doing.  There was whistling, laughing and lots of hard work going on all through the wind, cold, rain and snow.  I could not imagine how you could do detailed window trim with cold hands, nor could I imagine how you could work with large sheets of plastic wrap and long (16") pieces of siding in the wind.  I did not have to imagine it; I watched it with my own eyes.

Well in August of 2013, we decided that we were not ready to down-size yet; and, therefore, needed to do something with the outside of our home.  We had a Colonial home, with cedar planking as the siding.  We had had the house repainted about 6 years ago...the color we chose (grey), turned an unattractive shade of blue during the first year.  After 4 or 5 years it started to peel and look very tired.  Faced with the choice of repainted again (not inexpensive) and taking the chance of color change and peeling, again, or residing with a quality vinyl siding, there was no hesitation on our part, to go for the gold.  We called a few contractors after we spoke with Rob Moratta the rep from Navco.  It was an easy decision to have our project done by Joe Navarra and his crew - Navco-.

We had all new siding, facias, gutters windows and doors done.  The process of completing the project was quite pleasurable.  The same laughing, whistling and hard work happened on our very own property.  The results are amazing (looks like a new home).  The workmanship is top of the line.  It has been a much more comfortable winter, with bills for utilities at levels we used to pay for mild winters, during this extremely cold and snowy winter.  Choosing Joe Navarra and Navco to do our home was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

The cost of the job was exactly what the contract quoted.  No surprises, no need for change orders, that would increase the cost.  The amount of time it would take to complete the job, was right on.  It took 13 work days (even though a few of them were ended under the lights at 7:00 - 7:30 pm).

I could go on, but if you are thinking about having any remodeling done to your home, my suggestion would be to contact Joe at Navco.  He is down to earth, honest and informative.  Ready to help you with choices and decisions that only a professional can help you with.  I am not a professional, I am just a very happy customer.

If you find yourself in the area of Elm Avenue and Feura Bush Road, take a minute to look at the house on the corner (with the big roof).  You will then understand, why such a big WOW !!!

    LMN Construction
Mensur arrived on time and went right to work on the ceiling. He even supplied the joint compound. After a short time he asked if there was anything else he could do because the ceiling would need to dry before he could sand and paint. He also advised
that he would finish everything in less time than the six hours he would be there.
I pointed out several other small jobs (minor repair on the deck, adjusting some door molding, scraping off loose paint and
painting several areas on the house siding and window sills, and a section in the wall sheet rock that had cracked.
Mensur took care of all of these small jobs in addition to the work on the ceiling. It was obvious that he was an experienced
and professional contractor and that he wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his work.
I was very happy with every thing he did and would definitely use him again.
