    The cleaning went great, no wrinkles. But be forewarned: They do not participate with insurance. They did not tell me this, and they say that it is *not* their policy to tell prospective patients this. Apparently, they wait for you to ask. However, they collect your insurance information and bill insurance for you, creating the impression that they *do* participate with your plan. I have never before encountered a policy like this. They did agree to split the difference of what I owed, which I appreciated.

    He is a great guy. He is personable. He sends you to somebody to pull your teeth and stuff like that. I had to have a plate put in, both top and bottom. He does a good job because they fit your mouth perfectly. I give him an 'A' on that.

    Dr. Maestro is an outstanding professional.  He is compassionate, considerate, warm and caring.  He is also gifted as a reconstructive/cosmetic dentist. He is absolutely precise and he stands behind his work.  Dr. Maestro is committed to doing the very best work that is possible. Good enough is not good enough for him.   
    I highly recommend Dr. Maestro to anyone needing high quality dental work.

    Donna, as always, did a great job cleaning my teeth.  She chats and, when I can, I chat right back at her!  She works on my wife and daughter and always asks how they are doing, tells me about her family and her vacations and we just generally have an easy good time.  Sounds weird to say that about a cleaning, but she makes it easy.  Adam checked in and keeps me up to date on anything needing work (luckily, rarely for me), and we talk about our music tastes.
    The office staff knows us and knows who we are when we step in. Always efficient and courteous and friendly.
    I have only seen Dr. Fass once or twice and am nowhere near as impressed with him.  He strikes me as a bit of an alarmist, always fearing the worst, then Adam (DR. Edwards) straightens things out and I am fine.

    My wait was very brief, just a few minutes. Dr. Herzog actually came out to greet me and said he'd just be a few minutes, which was the case. He also remembered having just treated a family member recently. The cleaning was done by a very competent and professional hygienist, who took a history and prepared a very thorough overview for Dr. Herzog to review. I felt that my comfort and treatment needs were given the highest priority by all and that any questions I had were addressed fully. At the end of my exam, Dr. Herzog shook my hand and walked me to the outer office, which is highly unusual and showed great courtesy. I recommend this dentist and his practice highly. The family member who saw him was similarly impressed and we were both pleased to have found such a good dentist close to where we live. I will recommend Dr. Herzog to friends and family without hesitation.

    He is communicative and articulate when he is explaining things with patients, his staff are professional staff and he has nice facility. His facility is modern, convenient, clean and not depressing like a lot of medical offices.

    Dr. Edmunds is a very skilled dentist, and he has excellent manner with his patients. He's great at putting patients at ease, and is able to explain procedures in terms that anyone can understand. He will offer a recommended course of action and will also lay out the pros and cons of any options. He makes great use of the newer technologies that are available for delivering Novocain and for diagnosis and treatment.

    I have been seeing Dr. Edmunds for many years, and have always been completely satisfied with every facet of my care. I used to take my child to a pediatric dentist, but now he also sees Dr. Edmunds and his excellent staff.

    Dental care can be expensive. I feel that the prices in this office are comparable to other practices, but the quality is much higher. Plus, knowing that I can trust Dr. Edmunds to not rip me off with unnecessary work is priceless. Plus, his high degree of technical skill has saved me money.

    His office does not accept dental insurance for payment, but the staff will put through a claim for you for reimbursement.

    I had a molar that I could feel was about halfway gone. It chipped a few years ago and it's gradually decayed over time and I just never got it taken care of.
    I called for an appointment and they squeezed me into an available 40 minute slot so Dr. Nelson could at least take a look at my situation. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant on the phone.
    I got there a little bit early and did usual paperwork. Everyone in the reception area was more than nice and easy to talk to, putting me at ease. Seeing that I had not been to a dentist in some time, they said they had a cancellation for a cleaning right after my scheduled appointment with the doctor, so I took that opportunity.
    To start, the dental assistant took me and did a full set of X-rays using an X-ray machine that rotates around your head. I had never seen one like it, but I also hadn't been to the dentist in 8 years. They sat me in a room, took a quick, more detailed X-ray of my problem tooth, and the doctor was in to see me within just a few minutes. He was very gentle with his tools and gave me a short exam to map my fillings and cavities. He was very professional and gave me my options (possible root canal or tooth removal) and patiently answered all my questions about steps in the treatment and how long I could be away in between those steps (I travel for work for weeks or months at a time on occasion). He recommended keeping the tooth if I felt I could afford the root canal since I'm only 30 and I would get many good years out of root canal / crown. He initially gave me a referral to another root canal specialist because he was not sure of the availability of his office to do the work. More on that later.
    I then had my appointment with the hygienist (Laura) and that went very well, which made me question why I waited to long to go to the dentist. She joked a lot and did a good job of keeping me at ease and was very informative about everything she was doing. She started with a periodontal exam to measure the depth where the gums attach to the tooth. Then she did the cleaning which went much better than I expected. Her chair-side manner was great, constantly upbeat and humorous. She finished up with a cancer screening, scheduled my next 6 month cleaning from the computer in the cleaning room, and then I was back in the reception area.
    The receptionist (I cant remember her name, I'm usually so bad with names) had done some research and found out that my dental insurance covered root canals nearly 100% ($50 deductible) if they were done by an in-network provider, which Nelson Dental is for Guardian Dental insurance. I believe she called Dr. Robert Nelson (Gary's son I think) who apparently does the root canal work in that office while I was getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Robert only works on Mondays but he said that he should be able to fit me in over the next few weeks for the root canal consultation and procedure. She scheduled me for both the consultation (6 days after this appointment) and the actual procedure (2 weeks after the consultation). They also made it clear that if I had extreme pain that they could write me a prescription for something or possibly squeeze me in for some type of quick procedure to try to temporarily cure the pain.
    Overall just an excellent experience with great people. Everyone was extremely nice and understanding, and not one person scolded me for not going to the dentist in 8 years. I'd highly recommend this office to anyone.

    Dr Herzog is superb. He poffers all options before beginning the work. He listens to me. He is punctual if not early. He works quickly and efficiently. Once when I had a dental crisis, he came in an hour to care for me on a day that had no openings. His assistant is competant and a sweetheart. His office staff is equally good, taking care of my financial and insurance issues. After deqaling with three awful dentists, I have bbeen thrilled to have found him..

    I have been a patient of Dr. Marfurt since he began his practice. He is an excellent Dentist. He has treated me and my entire family for everything from routine check ups and fillings to diagnosing and fitting me with a mouthguard for teeth grinding and crowns. He also recommended a fine surgeon for a compicated root canal. I highly recommend him.
