  Devour Creative Catering

  Great. Michael has thorough menus with wide variety. I scheduled a dinner party for 14 people on relatively short notice ( 2 weeks) and the team at Devour were really flexible and took care of every detail. They ordered tables and chairs and table cloths an had them delivered (and picked up) . The food was superb (salmon, beef wellington, this incredible parsnip mashed potato dish, CHURRO"s with Mexican hot chocolate!!, There were also seared tuna starters, lamb chop lollipops, mini crab cakes , etc and a great salad plus mini burgers and tons of crispy fries for the kids. We had the dishes served family style - (nice presentation pieces were brought out ) and Michael served everything very punctually and completed preparation and serving for exact times. We had such an enjoyable event and the food was the quality of a high end restaurant but right in our home! Michael also thinks quick on his feet as it was starting to rain before dinner and he suggested we move the tables to our wrap around front porch (which we had never considered). The shift in ambiance ended up being cozy with candles (like Danish Hygge) . He even whipped up some salsa that I i had intended to prepare with the ingredients I had in the fridge. This was our first catering experience in our home and I would definitely have Michael and Erin back for future events. They were just so pleasant and easy to work with- keeping in mind they also cater large weddings and other events.

  NJ Wait Staff, LLC

  Every year my husband and I throw a large barbecue to celebrate our anniversary. For the past few years, we decided we'd like to enjoy the party instead of work it - so we hired NJ Wait Staff. I have been a repeat customer for ... I think it is 4 years now! They are easy to book with a simple email, super reliable (they show up, on time) and they work hard. We added a grill attendant the last two years and everything now works so, so smoothly. The two staff come just before the guests start to arrive, fire up the grill and get my buffet set up. We do about 10 minutes of talking through our needs and it is all taken care of! We've had Jessica and Eric for two years now and they already know the drill and just do the job. And what I love most is that we have very little clean up - our garbage is emptied, dishes cleaned, leftovers packed into the fridge and we can enjoy ourselves. I will definitely use them again, there is absolutely no reason not to!

  Perfect, delicious. Delices Creoles is very professional and reliable, their food is well-spiced, a lot of consideration to detail and personalization. Very pretty table settings and plating. I'd be happy to hire them again for their various services - especially private/small group cooking classes, which are coming in the future, apparently.

  What an amazing party! Chef Stef made an incredible, memorable event for myself and my guests. Chef Stef is professional in how he runs his business and passionate about teaching his cooking classes. I was very impressed with how organized Chef Stef was throughout the process of planning the party: from the initial meeting where we planned a "Taste of Asia" menu, to emailing me the contract the same day, to checking in before the party, to all the prep work and set-up Chef Stef did beforehand (individual ingredients,  wine pairings, individual cooking stations for 13 people with stove top burners, aprons, knives, cutting boards, pots and pans, etc. -- a lot of work!). He even brought take-out containers so guests could bring home left-overs. Best of all -- he packed up all the dirty dishes, pots and pans, etc. to clean at home! Chef Stef knows what he's doing, which made the party planning so simple and effortless for me. Chef Stef prepared delicious Asian-themed hot and cold appetizers for the cocktail hour. Once all the guests arrived, we started the class. It was an awesome class and so much fun! We learned how to cook delicious pork and vegetable potstickers, beef pho and shrimp spring rolls with dipping sauce. Chef Stef doesn't skimp on the ingredients. I loved learning how to incorporate the flavors of the exotic recipe ingredients: star anise, fresh cinnamon sticks, fish sauce, ginger, fresh mint, cilantro, beef marrow bones, rice paper, etc. Chef Stef had tons of patience teaching my friends and family the recipes (especially after the 3rd wine pairing when everyone was getting a bit boisterous LOL!), as well as teaching us great cooking tips. I would definitely hire Chef Stef again! I'm already thinking ahead for the menu theme for next year's birthday celebration!

  Sweet Pea Cuisine LLC

  Marcia from Sweet Pea Cuisine was great and just unbelievable. We actually used her twice. It was just unbelievable, the flavors and the test. She was wonderful and efficient. She cleaned up and was gracious. She served and even made little menus and place settings for everybody. It was spectacular and one of the best meals we ever had. Her prices were also very reasonable for what it was and it was a complete pleasure.

  Dawn's Kitchen Catering

  Everything was exccellent. Right from the begining , our first meeting , Dawn was warm and receptive, did not try to get us to choose other courses, listened to any ideas we had and explained the pros and cons ( if there was a down side) of serving them in the setting we had planned. She also brought up several issues that we would have overlooked( a shuttle to our event and a secondary area in case of weather) and helped us find a reasonable florist that she even picked the flowers up from on the day of.   The food and service were impecable(especially the beef tenderloin and crabcakes) and any details that were unplanned were taken care of perfectly. Basicly it was as if some friendly folks conjured up a fabulous dinner from nowhere and then made any trace of a dirty dish disappear in the blink of an eye. Mind you, Dawn herself oversees everthing so when you are talking to her, that is the person you'll be seeing the day of, not some hired kitchen workers who could care less.   All in all I give Dawn's kitchen an A+ for making our wedding day memorable and(relatively lol) stress free.
