    Sunrise Roofing & Chimney Inc.
Sunrise Roofing & Chimney has a great, knowledgeable, and pleasant team. The entire process from visiting my home, to performing the work, and to the subsequent follow-up was done very professionally. Sheffield and Leon are European artisan masons extraordinaire and provided valuable input that allowed me to make well-educated choices. Our re-pointed chimney and cooper flashing add beauty to the house. The entire work was as promised. I can highly recommend them and will certainly use them in the future.

After researching various masonry companies we decided to hire Flawless. It was the best decision we ever could have made. Originally, we were only planning to have a patio, walkway, and back stoop installed. After our initial meeting though, we also decided to have our front stoop and walkway redone and install a fire pit, seating wall, and light piers. The project started in early August with the crew coming to prepare the areas and put down rca. About a week later, the plumber and electrician came to install the line for the propane to the fire pit and the electrical for the light piers. A few days later, Flawless began the project. The crew that did our project were extremely hard working and they kept the yard and surrounding areas clear of any debris the entire project. Both Devin and Scott came on site numerous times to assess the project and make sure that we were happy with the job that was being done. I would absolutely recommend Flawless Masonry (and already have) to anyone that needs any type of masonry work to be done. Thank you for the beautiful patio and surrounding areas that you have created for us at our home.

    Long Hill Masonry Corp
My initial review of this company was excellent however, after they left we started to notice things were not right. The stainless steel doors they installed under our BBQ were badly stained with cement and we could not get the stains off, there was cement stains on the back of our house and back door which we could not get off, The planters we asked them to install we not properly drain and filled up with water so much that we could not plant any flowers, the screens on our brand new outdoor gazebo we purchased were badly stained with cement dust which we could not remove and the bar that was built was so poorly supported that the granite company asked that we install additional supports before they installed the granite. After several failed attempts to have them come back and empty promises I ended up fixing all the mistakes myself, lesson learned, don't pay the full balance until the smoke clears and you really get a chance to inspect everything!!!!!!! This company left hanging!!!!!

    Edge Contracting Inc.
During the installation a sprinkler head was broken and it was not noticed, they sent someone to repair the broken sprinkler. Any areas that were damaged were leveled and seeding following the completion of the job. They hauled away all of the remains debris and can back a few days later to check on the staus of the job.

Their quality of work was excellent and I would for sure use them again. I plan on having them do my pool next year. They are honoring their prices for the quote I received this month for Spring 2017.

All in all excellent work and customer service, we are pleased with the finished outcome.

    A Chim Chimney Masonry
Actually I called the number and the guy was so rude and asked me if I was selling something, I told him no I was trying to get an estimate. He then said "I saw you were calling from an out of state number so that's why he thought I was selling him something (which I totally understood). Then he just tells me sorry we're all booked for the season and hung up. This might be the case but he could of offered to call me back if they had a cancellation. Very unprofessional. So I called the next provider on Angie's list with a great rating. It is a $9,000 job and would not want to ever give them a penny.

    Bongiornos Contracting
Chuck, CJ, Grandpa Bongiorno and the rest of their crew were amazing. They all were pleasant, polite and efficient. From the moment we first met Chuck, when he came to give us the estimate, we felt comfortable and he made us feel that he was being very honest with us. They removed old cement blocks from the yard, graded it for drainage and replaced them with a beautiful paver patio and firepit. They also worked on our side yard, leveling it and filling in what was just dirt, with bricks and pond stones. Chuck also did a few little extras for us which we really appreciated. During the whole process, it was important to them that we knew exactly what was happening and explaining any problems or issues that turned up. We also like the fact that Chuck or CJ or both (along with Grandpa Bongiorno) were at the job site with the rest of the crew, every day. We would definitely hire them again, without hesitation. Thanks again, grandson can't wait to make S'mores in the new firepit!

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to do business with General Brick Designs and it's owner Ed Costanza. Ed was professional about returning calls, explaining procedures, giving suggestions and staying on schedule with project completion times, even working on Sunday (to make up for the delay caused by rain) because I had landscapers scheduled to come the next day. You could tell he was an expert at what he does. He took the time to answer questions, work out solutions to problem areas and never made you feel that he was in a hurry. On the job site everyday, he went out of his way to make sure that every aspect of the work was done to perfection and to my complete satisfaction. Matching old patio bricks was difficult, but Ed went above and beyond the call of duty and shopped around to find something that was the perfect match to the ones that they no longer make. When he finished enlarging my patio, it was beautiful beyond my expectations. He even cleaned between the old bricks of the patio to make it look brand new and make the bricks blend together and didn't charge me extra. He and his crew are truly master craftsmen. Their goal is to make every customer happy, no matter what it takes, and he does that with much attention to detail and pride in workmanship. In addition, Ed guarantees all work for ten years. NO ONE does that these days. He's so sure of the quality of the work that he can afford to do this.
Ed worked with me on prices and I thought I got more than my money's worth considering the time it took, the amount of people working and the materials needed. Widening my driveway was not an easy task, but Ed figured out ways to solve a few problems I had, and it turned out looking spectacular with a perfectly inlaid sunburst pattern of pavers in the middle, and Belgium block edging all around. The walkway was equally gorgeous. Ed also helped me design a platform for my new 12x12 gazebo that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional, and I can't tell you how elated I am with the way it looks. Ed's crew cleaned up meticulously everyday, and were careful about not disturbing landscaping, edgings and other things in the yard. They started on time each day and worked nonstop throughout the day whether he was there watching or not.
The difficult octagon gazebo platform was engineered to dead on measurements and was built completely level in a very sloping and challenging wooded area. I can't believe how perfect it looks with all of the pavers set in cement and guaranteed not to budge under the weight of an 800 pound gazebo. When the job was finished, Ed's crew cleaned up every scrap of cement and masonry and made the place look even nicer than it looked when they first started the job. Ed even had his crew repair some rotting wood around my foundation with cement, when he noticed that it needed fixing during the installation of the walkway and didn't charge me. He helped me find an electrician and some blacktop people to hang my gazebo fan and level the roadway at the edge of the driveway. In conversation, I mentioned that the gazebo was to be screened and lamented to Ed that the screen kit was too big to fit in my car. Ed, the kind person that he is, volunteered to help me out, and pick it up for me. I was shocked and couldn't believe my ears. Who does that these days? In closing, I'd like to say that you will not be disappointed with the results of any job, big or small, that you contract Ed Costanza and General Brick Designs to do for you. I would highly recommend General Brick Designs for any masonry you need done. You won't be disappointed, and will be as thoroughly delighted with the results as I was.

    SLR Industries Inc.
We were extremely happy with SLR from start to finish.  After our initial call to SLR, Frank came and gave us an estimate the next day.  He answered our questions and made suggestions.  SLR was able to start right away which was really great.  The crews that came to our home did a great job - the mason crew even suggested adding the paving stone circle in the center of the driveway which wasn't part of the original plan but looks great!  Both crews were polite, professional and cleaned up after they were finished for the day.  We were very happy with the great communication and professionalism of SLR.  We recommend them and will certainly call them again in the future.

    Affatato Asphalt Paving
Well this business relationship started off great, and went sour right after their 1 visit. They tore up the driveway well, and left me with no drive way for 2 months. I couldnt park my car, and their office was unresponsive to my calls to try and get things done. When we tried to have them come finish the job they kept giving excuses saying they were and quot;behindand quot; on other projects that had priority, they also said rain was slowing them down to complete my project... what a load of bull it was 8 weeks and i didn't need to buy a boat cause of flooding so i dont get why they had such a big delay.
So i guess if you contract them make sure they make you a priority because i recommended them; after the first visit to my neighbors and now to this day June 6th 2013 my house and 3 other homes in our neighborhood don't have driveways. I contracted them back in April and its the worst mistake I made. Do yourself a favor and get someone else.
PS: Meanwhile a different neighbor a few blocks down had a different contractor and he was finished in two weeks.
