    The owner is a great person, and I have known him for many years. It is a rarity to meet someone as honest and caring as him. There are a lot of older folk going here, and he treats everyone the same. I have been going here for at least 6 years. I tend to call ahead before I go, and generally never have to wait anything over 2 hours. I get the synthetic oil which is why the oil change is a little bit more expensive. They have a few employees here that are just superb as well.

    Awesome! Great dealership to work with. The service department is top notch. Honestly, I service my car as recommended and have not had any repairs...just service on the car, and all service has been done professionally. The dealership is very personable and is not one of these mega dealerships....all they sell and all they do is Subaru......and they do it very well....

    He took my money, and never came back. He repeatedly, over the last two months, has told me that he would part ways and return my money or give me the parts. He has done nothing but give excuse after excuse. I have since gone to the police and found out that many other people have been scammed by this man, Kevin. He is taking money from people and not performing service. The contact information, the address and phone number in his Angie's List profile are all incorrect.

    Do NOT front him money!

    I've been using them since 1999. They get serious with their workmanship. They use top-notch materials. The most important thing is they're honest. Their price is fair. I had gone in there and told them I need a whole bunch of work for the car. When I came back, they didn't do the work on the car and told me that I don't need that and I needed this, which is much less expensive than what I was asking for, and that impressed me. I know I can trust them. People that I asked were very happy with the service they got from them.

    I had an 8:00 appointment with Safelite. I showed up about 7:55 and the office was open. Michael was more than ready to go over everything I needed to know about having my windshield replaced. He asked if I was leaving my car or waiting for it to be completed. When I told him that I was waiting, he informed me it would take about 90 minutes to complete and gave me the remote to the television.
    The technician completed the job in about 60 minutes. He went over a few things, like don't take the car to a car wash for 3 days. When I got back in the car, I couldn't even tell that the windshield was replaced.
    I didn't pay anything for the repair as it was covered by my insurance company. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

    Smithtown Tire came highly recommended to me at least 10 years ago. They know how to run a business the and quot;rightand quot; way. They have a television, daily newspaper, coffee, wifi, and some toys for the children. Also, if you don't want to wait for your car while it's being repaired, they will drive you home and pick you up when it's ready. This is a great service, as in the past it was always a hassle to find someone to follow you there, take you home, and then back to pick up your car. I have since recommended Smithtown Tire to at least three people, and am confident that they in turn recommended them to others. They are always friendly, courteous (any random time that you call and ask, i.e., if you can bring your car in for an oil change in a few minutes, they always tell you it's not a problem, and then take your car in to do the work within 15 minutes of arrival. I am positive that they are 100% honest with their prices.

    Harry was able to properly diagnose the issue with A/c  and he took the pain to fix mess created by  dealer service.They were very  helpful and explained all the work that needs to be done.Also  the pricing was reasonable.

    I have a new car and the pressure gauge went on.  It's a wonderful place and they are close to my job.  It literally only cost me $8 and I was out of there in twelve minutes.  It was just simple.  It was great pricing and it was really quick.  I didn't pull in anywhere.  Its a little shop and they serviced me right away.  They were just nice and honest.  They spooked at it but they were able to do the job.  I would highly recommend them.  There was a little bit of language stuff, but I say they are great.

    Well, after the $1,800 repair, I took the car for a drive. After 15 minutes, all the lights came on again. I brought the car back to the dealer who said that the computer just needed to be reset. This leads me to believe that it was never checked in the first place? So, they reset the computer & I took it to work. On my way back from work, all the lights come on again. I take it back to Metric & I'm told that they see a transmission code. Hmmm, isn't that what my mechanic told me in the first place?
    At this point, they hold on to the car for a week. After more consultation & testing, they determine that it is in fact a transmission problem. A meager $4,100 to fix it. Well, obviously, I'm not happy & my options are pretty limited. I'm not going to try & pawn this car off on someone else so now matter what I'll be suffering at least a $4K loss plus the $1,800 I put into the car which, now I'm not sure, I really needed.
    I was oversold on the $1,800 repair & either the service person should have been more cautious in their assessment or they should have really tested out the problem. After all, when you pay 'dealer' prices, you expect a higher level of results.
