    DP Electric
I needed a bathroom vent installed & this was the easiest experience. Very accommodating and professional. Good price and great customer service. Good price included labor and parts. Looking forward to hiring again.

Ozeas did a complete redesign/renovation of our bathroom downstairs. Amazing attention to detail, helpful suggestions and incredibly responsive. Hes always upbeat and pleasant. His motto is dont worry, Ill take care of it, and he does. Ozeas far exceeded all of my expectations, no detail was too minor for him to attend to. He went above and beyond the original job he was hired for, including installing a security door and outside cement work. I highly recommended him and would not hesitate to have him do any additional renovation work we need.

    Major Homes Corp
Once again, Major Homes did not disappoint. The original installation was done a few year ago my Major Homes so i gave they a call. I have had on ongoing relationship with Major Homes, the owner Mitch, Jason and their team for well over a decade for numerous small and large jobs. Mitch quickly responded, had a worker call and set up an appointment, and the work was completed quickly and cleanly. I would and plan to use Major Home in the future. Not only because they do above average quality work, but they stand by their work. They never leave a client hanging and respond even after the job is done and paid for. You cannot put a price on that peace of mind.

    Cabinet Plus Inc.
Mel has done a few projects for me over the last two years. Each time the entire process went as smooth as silk. Mel was very accommodating when it came to scheduling everything from the design discussions to the actual work. My schedule is chaotic so his ability to work around it was a godsend. His recommendations on design were spot on; he took everything into consideration and pointed out things that I never would have thought of. He took the time to really find out what it was I wanted, even though I was not totally sure. The actual work was clean; Mel and Nick probably left the apartment cleaner then when they arrived. The end result was a very happy me. I love the work! I receive many complements on the bathroom in particular the cabinetry and my closet is fantastic, a special place for everything. Mel and Nick will surely be on any future projects.

    A & S Renovations
This job has gone EXTREMELY poorly. They are doing horrible work. It has taken more than six weeks and is still not done. There is no reason for it to have gone on this long. Not only has the work been poor, and taken much too long, but things have been stolen from my home in the duration of this work. The cops are now involved. Beware of this provider!

    Nunez Construction and Painting
The house has had a leaking problem for who knows how long now. The last contractor we hired charged a good amount of money to essentially just patch holes. The issue here is that it didn't fix the problem. In fact, things actually got worse. We started looking for another contractor to take a look. But again, they were too focused on fixing holes and getting money upfront, as opposed to diagnosing the issue.
Thankfully, we found Nunez Construction. From the first point of contact, I felt this would go well. Punctuality, openness, attention to detail, communication, and general professionalism is what I expect from anyone running a business. Nunez has these in spades.
In terms of getting job details, they took their time in going through each and everything we pointed out before committing to anything. When the root issue was found, they showed it to me, described what was happening, and what the next course of action. This is for every aspect of what we had issues with, from the overall state of the roof, to the water drain pipe that went through our house, to the leaks in our bathroom, and all the water damaged walls and ceilings. This in itself took a few days, which I appreciated since they wanted to get this right the first time through.
The job itself spanned from Friday to Tuesday (including Labor Day!), just as they said it would be, which tells me they have a good grasp on what they're doing. During the job, they were very good about showing me the before, during, and after of all the things they were doing, as well as explaining exactly how they were fixing it and why it was done that way. Thanks to them, I've gone up on the roof, stuck my head inside the walls of my house, and learned a few things about maintenance. As I said, I fully appreciate openness, and there was no hesitation from their side in doing exactly that.
The workers were amazing, working hard to reach the milestones for the day. It was almost sad to see them go, because everyone was friendly and nice to be around. They were very good about leaving the home in a livable state when they weren't actively working on an area, and always cleaning up after themselves.
The interesting thing about the bathroom leak is that the first people we contacted made an assumption on the problem and wanted to charge us loads of cash to essentially re-do the entire bathroom. Nunez took the more logical approach and carefully analyzed the issue. It turns out we just needed to re-seal the edges. A much less intensive job, to say the least.
The balcony tiles were a great suggestion by Nunez (with no pressure to go along with it), and I thoroughly appreciated the time that was taken to carefully measure and lay down each of the tiles so that they would be level, as well as aid in draining the water out.
All in all, I can't say enough about the work that was done, and how it was done. These guys showed that they were here to work WITH us.
I would highly recommend Nunez Construction to anyone who's looking to get their house repaired or renovated. In fact, we are planning to work with them in all phases of our home renovation for the next few years.

JD Home Remodeling and Repairs Inc
Jim Doyle is a real professional, not to mention a heck of a nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. From when he came to assess the job so he could prepare an estimate, throughout the execution of the job, to putting the finishing touches on our kitchen, he was reliable, accessible and professional. He made helpful suggestions and was constantly in touch with us so that we could remain fully informed as to their schedule and the progress of the job. We spent a few  hundred dollars additionally on materials they needed but Jim also saved us quite a bit by using materials he already had. His crew was also very professional and on time and really knew what they were doing. Our entire kitchen came out great and we couldn't be happier, from the cabinet and appliance installation to the tile work on the back-splash to the painting and finishing such as molding, etc. We would absolutely recommend JD Home Remodeling to our friends and would not hesitate to use them again if we decide to do any more work in our home.

    Charles Stewart Roofing

    Job was done as advertised.

Mr. Stewart arrived on time when promised with two of his men and got to work immediately.  Job was completed quickly and thoroughly.  He was a real gentlemen and made me feel as if I was important to him and his business.  My neighbor was having work done on his home by an other contractor and Mr. Stewart made sure that he did not interfere with that work.

I am completely satisfied with this contractor and will not hesitate to use him again when needed.

    FINLAY'S FURNITURE REPAIR
I have never been so upset in my life. They also said they move furniture, trying to get additional business from me. They took the $425 and also charged me for fuel to come over and also a service fee. They did not do any repairs and I have not received the frame yet. I have called every number on the invoice, and no one will answer nor return my calls. At this point they have taken the money and run. They were late on top of everything else. This was even after they already rescheduled on me once. This company also goes by One Final Touch Furniture with a phone number of 914-837-5608.
