    Scott Hadfield Construction
The results exceeded our expectations. We were concerned about opening up a wall into our garage and the resultant mess from the debris but Scott maintained a dust free house by creating an enclosure to contain any dust etc caused during the demolition. Scott's workmanship is excellent and the time frame he gave us for completion was exact. Every day the work area was cleaned before leaving! Scott made our design come to fruition with his expertise and advice. The walkout also was completed in a timely manner and the result was just what we had envisioned. Scott takes pride in his workmanship in every detail. Both jobs have added value to our house and we will definitely employ his services for additional home improvements in the future.

    Anson's Construction Company,Inc
It went well. There was good communication. Work was done in a timely manner once it began. I was consulted immediately when there were any questions. If there was something Anson Construction couldn't do, they didn't hesitate to bring in other capable companies. This job was done years ago, but I still love everything they have done in my home.

    New York Sash
Contractor showed up and time Covered the floor cardboard and plastic to protect it.  Checked the walls for mold and asbestos. Began removing the fixtures and removing the old walls.  Found some of the drywall very wet and removed and replaced with new drywall. Installed the new tub and all three walls.   Put the new fixtures on and caulked the seams. Cleaned and removed all old fixtures and walls.  Checked to see no leaks in the water pipes and the drain. Told it would take 2 days but they accomplished the entire job in 1 day! Excellent job!

Bill is great! He returned our initial phone call promptly, came to review the job and provided an written estimate by email. He had to reschedule work dates but called the day before to make sure it fit our schedule. His work is excellent and made some suggestions to save us money. He took the motor out of a new bathroom fan and fit it to the old housing to make the job more economical. Before this, he talked with a factory representative on the phone to determine if a different kit would work best in our bathrooms. We will use him again.

    Frontline Remodeling
Our project was quite large. We took 960 SQ FT of basement and completely remodeled it into two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a large sitting area and added two egress windows. Brad (owner) and team were very punctual and professional. Brad was always on site to over see work being done. Brad always responded quickly to any questions we had about the process. Brad really took the time to look at the details of the job and did many small things during the process that he didn't necessarily have to, but he thought would result in a better finished product. He was also very flexible and accommodating when we added small extras for him to do in the middle of the project. The finished product is excellent. I am very particular about the details and I have zero complaints! If you are getting quotes on work, you definitely need to call Frontline Remodeling.

    Adams Repair and Remodel
All work done by Adams Repair and Remodel was done to my standards in a clean and efficient manner. Unlike many other contractors i have dealt with in the past, Adams repair and remodel is trustworthy and always goes above and beyond. If you are sick of dealing with contractors you can't trust, who never show up on time and don't respect your property you need to contact Adams Repair and Remodel. I highly recommend Adams Repair and Remodel and will continue to use them for all of my remodeling and handyman needs.

    BC Home Remodeling and Painting
Initially, it went well. He is good at roughing but when it came to finishing and actually completing any specific part of the job his work did not meet our expectations at all. He said he did electrical work - he does not. The allure flooring job he did is in no way acceptable and the 25 year warranty on the product is now null and void. He arrived on the job about 10:00 and was gone by 4:30 most days; missing several days entirely. He is a nice guy and went above and beyond in certain aspects of the job, but much of the work he performed was not up to our standards.

    James W Albright Remodeling
We spent four months trying to contact Jim to find out why he had not started work on our house yet even though he had cashed our deposit months ago. After four months we finally got in touch with him and we fired him and asked for our money back. He promised us our money back within 30 days. After 60 days we contacted our lawyer. Jim Albright would not respond to our lawyer so we had to get the NYS Attorney General and a second lawyer involved. We received our refund nine months after he first cashed our check and was supposed to start work on our house. He lied to us every step of the way, stole from us, created false expectations, and was generally unpleasant to deal with. We would NEVER recommend doing business with this man and believe that he is a criminal.  We lost thousands in interest, architect fees, and unused materials that were never installed.

    Botelho General Maintenance
I hired Alan Botehlo after getting his name from a friend, saying he was between jobs.  I called and met with him at the beginning of January and we agreed on the price of $800 for the removal of the old floor, laying and leveling of a new subfloor and installation of a new ceramic floor.  We discussed how he would take $200 off the price if I wanted to work with him.  He told me that he would need a $300 deposit.  He took the deposit money and said he would be there on the following Sat. to begin demolition.   I asked if he wanted me to get started, as I was anxious to have the work done.  I started ripping up the old flooring (6 layers worth) and then the excuses started.  My daughter is sick, my kids are with me this weekend, I have a wedding to go to, on and on and on.  I finished the removal of the entire 20x18 by myself.  Every time i spoke with him he told me to either call him Wed. evening or on Sat. morning.  Being the trusting (sucker) soul that I am, I did as he said and he never answered or returned any of my calls.  In April he changed his phone number.  I was able to find his new phone and started leaving messages.  When June arrived I had had enough and called to tell him that I would no longer need his services and I would like my money back.  I heard nothing from him. In August I took him to small claims court.  He never showed up but did call the court to say he was not coming but would be paying me back my money.  After 30 days later and no communication I filed a "judgement" against him with the county.  I have heard absolutely nothing from him.  Here it is, Jan. 15, 2013 and I am still walking on a gutted floor.  A couple of weeks ago I found another person who had once worked for him.  Alan still owes him $900.  His ex-employee said that he steals things on the sites.  I came up missing the $100 Lowe's gift card I had purchased so he could get supplies needed for the job.
DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR ANYTHING!!!   Unfortunately, I learned a hard lesson.

    Foley Builders Inc
Overall, the work was excellent.  They were extremely professional, timely and neat.  They exceeded my expectations by adding leftover drywall to another wall since they had it left over.  Everything was always cleaned up when they left for the day.  The work is outstanding...
