The project turned out perfectly! Ron kept me informed of the schedule and work to be done. He kept me posted on his plans for the project and was consistent in keeping to the schedule and was always on time. Despite site challenges, the project was completed on time. I highly recommend Ron for his quality of work and, especially his professionalism.

The job was done in phases of about a half a day each for 2 days over a couple of weeks waiting for a concrete pad to cure & holidays, which worked perfectly for them & us. Their crews are great, Very professional and very neat. Tim came after the crews left & I asked if we should add another beam to support the garage floor & he said he didn't feel it would be necessary buts lets recheck in the summer. I had asked him when he was quoting if we should excavate around the foundation the put drain tile in & he said no. If that ever had to be done he also had a much simpler way to do it. My experience is that Tim is not out to stick it to someone but to do what's best for you at a fair price. In my opinion that if you don't get a quote from Tim your making a serious mistake,

We love our stamped concrete patio. This patio is a big improvement over the soggy grassy area that had been there before. We couldn't use the space much except in the summer because it was so soggy and now we enjoy the space almost all year long. We called Adam based on a recommendation from our neighbor and he came out to give us an estimate. I enjoyed working with Adam and he gave us a solid recommendation on the material to use for the patio and the final size that we ended up getting installed. We originally asked him to estimate for a shorter patio but after listening to what we thought we'd use the patio for, he suggested the wider patio. I'm happy with the larger size and we certainly use it all. The patio install went well and we were happy with the end result. Adam and his crew worked hard and were very professional. When the job was done, he cleaned up the site, sealed the patio, and took some time to explain future maintenance. Adam also gave us some suggestions for future sidewalk and front porch cement work and we'll definitely call him in the future when we're ready to do that.

While a little pricey at about $10/sq ft, the stamped concrete overlay was worth every penny.  The communication about what they would do and when was excellent.  They kept me up to date every day.  The crew showed up when they said they would and kept me informed if they were delayed.  The work was done exactly as they said it would be.  The sealer used does darkened the selected color shown on the color chart but the results are still very much appreciated.  This company is very good at what they do and I'd definitely consider them for future concrete work.

The work was poor quality, especially for the price I paid.  The grooves or expansion joints they put in were almost non-existent, and the finish of the concrete was terrible; it was so rough you couldn't even walk on it in your bare feet, let alone sit around the edge of the pool.  I complained about this via e-mail, and his response was, "I'll send out guys, in a few days time."  I assumed they would schedule a specific date and time with me to do this, or at the very least give me a heads-up before coming to the house.  No such luck- they showed up the next day, when no one was home, jumped the fence into the locked pool area, and attempted to make repairs.  They did sand the concrete smooth, but the ensuing mess was unbelievable: concrete dust EVERYWHERE, including in the pool and all over the solar cover.  It took me almost an entire day to clean it all up, and to this date I don't know if all that debris in the water did any damage to the pump and filter (if I had known when they were going to be there, I would have shut off the automatic timer to the pump to make sure this didn't happen).  They tried to repair a crack in the existing concrete (work I would not have asked them to do if I were at home), and the finished job looked as if a 5 year-old had done it; very sloppy and totally unprofessional.  To add insult to injury, their truck left a huge puddle of transmission fluid on my recently-coated asphalt driveway, along with black boot marks on our white vinyl fence from where they had to jump it.I relayed all this info to Dan Drabin via another e-mail, and here was his exact response: "I believe your being very unreasonable and I've done What I can to try and name you happy... we needed to take. Out all of the concrete and start over. But in an attempt to save we tried to Do What you asked fir budget purposes. .. I've dine what I can when I can.... you have o realize I can't Neo coming back and do the job fir free... I did What I can do in your price range... try and enjoy your pool"Great- he now admits to doing a sub-standard job, but this is the first time he ever told me that the work he initially did would not fix the problem I had ( "...we needed to take. Out all of the concrete and start over. But in an attempt to save we tried to Do What you asked fir budget purposes...")  So here's my response to his text message: "I?ve read your response several times, and I?m amazed that you think I am the one being unreasonable. ?Unreasonable? is refusing to even look at the problems I?ve described. Common sense and a fair business expectation would be to receive a phone call from you to address the issues so that there would be no misunderstandings. ?Unreasonable? is sending a crew when no one is home, climbing over the fence to unlock the locked pool gate and leaving a mess for me to clean up. ?Unreasonable? is telling me at this point that we should have removed ALL the concrete and start over, when you were the one that suggested the work be done in this manner. I?ve looked over our contract several times and NOWHERE does it state that the work you did is not the recommended way to fix what was wrong; in fact, the original estimate doesn?t even mention removing all the concrete. ?Unreasonable? is telling me AFTER the work is done and paid for that what I got is sub-standard work and I have to live with it. And I thought I was being more than reasonable when I didn?t bring up the fact that the rope hooks were never reinstalled in the coping, that your truck left ruts in my front yard, or the huge puddle of oil and/or transmission fluid that was left in my driveway when the unsatisfactory repairs were made. Before taking this to the next level, I?d like to show that I?m a reasonable person and willing to give you the opportunity to make this right. Let?s set up a time for you to take a look at the issues and tell me personally that what I have is worth the $6,000 I?ve paid. If not, then I have no choice but to take other measures to resolve this."And here's his last and final response: "We came out there because you asked us to come out there out of the kindness of my heart to take a look at your concrete work it's tough for us to try and do a section of your concrete without doing the whole thing to try and save you money we have to cut jackhammer break up existing concrete in between your pool and your existing deck that you couldn't afford to remove all of i it's very difficult to do just 1 feet around your pool and have everything come out like carpet you obviously are very un reasonable my guys did their best to come out there and take care of your issues and that's all we're going to do I wouldn't work for you again no matter how much you threaten me you could have somebody else do your work from now on I don't work for people like you I've done all I can to make you happy your too unreasonable for me find someone else."I'll let his rambling responses speak for themselves.  If you want one of the rudest, most unprofessional contractors in the Rochester, NY area working around your house, then go ahead and hire Dan.  However, if you'd rather deal with someone that will at least take the time to come out and look at the problems he's created, then you definitely you need to find anyone but him.

These people made an appointment with my 89 year old mother to do a free inspection of her basement. After four hours of pushing her, she signed a contract for $11,000 to replace a basement wall that they told her could collapse if it wasn't tended to immediately. Here is the rest of the story. There is some joint cracking near the top of the cellar wall...been that way for probably 20 years. They also were going to sell her a new dehumidifier because theirs was less expensive to run claiming hers cost $5.00 per day and theirs cost only $2.00 per day. She lives in a condo community where all major structural repairs have to be cleared by the board, and most of those repairs are covered under the HOA My mother told them that she did not own the house...(my Brother does)... they didn't care. She told them that she wanted to talk to her son first They told her that if she didn't sign that day she would miss out on the $4333.00 discount they offered against the original estimate of $15,328! When I called their office Saturday at 8 AM, I was told by the workers in the office, that the owners were not available and that the contract and check were still with the salesman who was out of town. I went to their office to get the contract voided and they had nothing there for me as per my request. When I threatened to have everyone arrested, low and behold, they got Mrs Romich on the phone. 10 minutes after I left the office I got a call from Mr Romich telling me that if I met him at the office on Monday morning, he would give all of my mothers paperwork and check. He said the contract and check were locked up in the office...so I guess the contract and check weren't with the salesman after all. So here it is, these people obviously don't care much about ethics, They'll hammer away at an 89 year-old woman (who, by the way, is virtually deaf) to get her to spend $11,000 on a $50 repair. Now Mr Romich is threatening me wit a defamation-of-character lawsuit if I pursue with any moves to bring their business practices to light?..

We were really happy with the quality of the work Baleno concrete provided. We had several other companies give us estimates with a number written on the back of their business card! Dominic was very thorough in his estimate noting issues that the other guys overlooked. He also worked with us to keep our new driveway aesthetically equal to our older home. He was more expensive than the other companies but you certainly get what you pay for. We have a very nice home and are glad we put the extra money into making sure our new, very large driveway looked nice but not too obvious.

It was a very professional job and has held up nicely. His pricing is high but it is worth it for the quality of work. I will use them again in the future.
