    L & H Construction Company
There is no way this is an A rated business. These are not professionals and likely false reviews on here. I've had great success with Angie's List but, this was a nightmare. Work trailer was left in my driveway and not blocked - rolled into my car. Took 6 months from down payment to "completion". Did not complete work that was paid for but, the work was so poor I did not want them on my property anymore. I paid real professionals to complete portions of the job or did it myself. Price was low but, you get what you pay for. The main reason they were hired was to tie deck header and roof into the existing home. They were unable to tie the deck header board in and I had to do it myself. The roof tie in was a complete failure as it leaks in multiple areas. I consistently had to babysit and make sure significant errors such as footer placements were lined up correctly. Building materials used were lowest possible quality. Workers typically would not start before 10a and rarely past 3p. They aren't builders or capable of skilled work. They're sloppy and not even good roofers. Now, I have to fix my leaky roof on my own. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. COMPLETE DISASTER

    Next Generation Roofing
Everything went great. They arrived on time, left absolutely no debri and even helped me find a good company to install a new gutter system. George was very attentive to our needs and was helpful with insurance claim issues we were dealing with. I highly recommend.

I contacted 5+ roofers for estimates. I had selected them from Angies List, asked for referrals from FB and friends, and also checked the BBB. Pinnacle came up as very positive on all fronts. Bob Thomas was the first person to call me back, the first person to come out for an estimate, and believe it or not the only representative to climb into our attic space and examine the entire underside of the roof from one end of the house the other, checking for mold and other potential problems (none found). As others did, he climbed all over the outside of the roof but was the only roofer to take photographs to show us the problem areas. His estimate was on the high end but he honored an Angies List coupon bringing the price to within $200 of the next closest bid. The information he gave us was extensive and thorough so we could understand the whole process. After accepting the bid from Pinnacle & sending the down payment in it wasnt long before I got the call they could come the next day. The crew finished the job in just one day. No mess was left, landscaping was totally protected, and we found very little in the way of debris. Bob checked back with us to make sure we were satisfied. There were a few things not quite right (ex cracked vinyl siding J tracks, black marks on walkway) but Bob made sure these were all fixed before we had to pay the balance. Our roof looks awesome, ready for winter. Bob and the company were very responsive to our calls, emails & text messages. Very professional and easy to work with. Strongly recommend.

    Ultimate Roofing
My 6-year-old house, with roofing installed on original construction, developed a roof leak. I had water dripping in my family room near my fireplace, with more rain on the way. Ugh. I noticed some buckled shingles on the shoulder roof sections on either side of my chimney chase. I called in Ultimate Roofing to take a look. Tom was great. He came out the day I called and sealed the questionable shingles I pointed out. He then took the initiative: Without my asking, he walked my entire roof, inspected it, and sealed some other random things here and there. The fee was very reasonable. He correctly (as it turns out) pointed out that the repairs he made might not explain the leak I was seeing, and to please call him back if the problem was not solved. With the next rain storm, the leak continued. I called Tom back, and he responded promptly. He sealed some more things in my chimney cap area, and would not accept payment for the second visit despite my best attempts to pay him. The second visit did the trick! Serious rain storm this weekend, and no leak! Tom is a stand up guy, who really cares about getting a job done right. He was friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Just outstanding. The next time I have roofing needs, I will definitely work with Ultimate Roofing again.

    Residential Improvements
We had about $60,000 of work done by Residential Improvements which included Painting the entire exterior of our home (siding and brick), 41 replacement windows and a new roof. The sales rep was great at being a salesmen and he totally got us, but that is our fault, not his. These projects came in phases - starting with the roof. We were told by our sales rep that their company is NOT contracted out but rather handled by their own employees. Within moments of being onsite, the roofers told me they were a sub contract. Disappointing but not the end of the world. What really sucked about the roof was having to pick up over 400 nails on our driveway, yard and back patio where our dogs run around. Oh and the dozens and dozens of cigarette buts left by their employees even though I gave them ashtrays and asked each smoker individually to please discard them properly. All in all I though the roof was done quickly but it looked nice. I didnt know, because im not a roofer, that the nails werent sealed properly, which the window guy actually had mentioned to me. Next came the painters. I really dont have much good to say about these painters so I wont say much. I just didnt appreciate their blaring (and I mean blaring) of music. My neighbors had to come ask them to turn it town multiple times, and I had to work remotely a day because the neighbors said it was out of control. I had to remind them several times the music was too loud. After dealing with that crew's particularly crap attitudes for several days.. when the paint dried.. they had missed substantial spots. Like from across the street you can notice. They did come back but with attitudes far worse than before. They also mentioned that they were NOT going to paint some of the window trim since the window guys were going to replace it, which I said okay to, because I didnt realize that the window guy in fact was NOT going to replace it. And finally the window folks. I actually really enjoyed this crew. Very honest, very willing to explain stuff to me. As I mentioned before, the lead guy pointed out to me that the roof was missing the sealing. I felt bad for this guy however because he and his team had to pick up the slack for the other crews who didnt do their jobs. The NOT CERTIFIED "electrician" (who self admitted he wasnt an electrician, but he had done this a few times) on this team was instructed to install the ceiling fan in my bathroom that was a part of our contract. Kid did a nice job, but I was expecting a professional to install it. The lead window guy had to seal the roofing nails since the roofers werent going to come back. Some of the windows installed were missing pieces, which I was told the company would send them to me since its easy to install. I never got those pieces. Aside from the disaster of dealing with the crews, I found out after the work was done, just how little the company cares about the quality of their work and their customers happiness. I called and left messages and texts with our sales rep explaining some of the issues, asking for the painters so come finish the window trim and asking for the window pieces, with NO RESPONSE. So I called and left a message at the company, NO RESPONSE. The company called me asking me how everything went...unprompted... so I told them.. and the lady on the phone said she would alert the owner and get back to me... NEVER heard from her again. I left another voicemail about a week ago asking for some kind of response so I dont have to write them a bad review, but nothing. I have given this company chance after change to correct these problems but they dont seem to care. All I want is our window trim to be finished, preferably by a crew far different than the ones before, and the pieces to the windows that we never received. Im not even asking for money back after this ordeal and they still will not respond. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    NML Contracting & Roofing
When we looked into getting our roof replaced, we found out we had to have many of the supporting roof beams replaced as well; the wood had literally rotted due to poor ventilation. We got estimates from 2 other companies (one was over $20K) when we were lucky enough to find Joe at NML. NML is a certified installer of Owens Corning and uses only quality Owens Corning products, including shingles . NML's estimate not only was less than both of the other companies, but Joe and his team did an amazing job, with the most of the roof completed in just one day. They cleaned up my yard so well it looked better than it had before they arrived, and the roof looks amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

    S & G Roofing
Job went great, we're very happy with the work performed, quality of the new roof, professionalism of the roofers and cleanup. Old shingles were removed, new ice shield, underlay, OC architectural shingles and quality ridge vent installed. Due to water issues we had new gutters installed last fall and were concerned the roofing job might damage them. The roofers didn't touch the gutters and downspouts (i.e. no damage at all to the new gutters - they were left up during the entire job). We needed 3 sheets of extra plywood replaced (in addition to 2 covered in the original estimate) but the crew explained exactly why. Areas I thought might need new plywood didn't so I was confident in the discretion of the crew. The crew was very friendly and did a great job cleaning up. Paul was a pleasure to work with. We feel like we got excellent value for the cost. The entire job took 1 day.

    Total Service Pro
Went o.k. I misunderstood main contact, that soft removal was used for this type of thing, brushing off then spray with solution, they didnt power wash roofs, so not to damage roof. I was warned wouldnt look good for a month as solution works. I went out and they were spraying a power washer all over, to protect my landscaping. I had not been told about this and had just treated for stinging insects under my eves. When i asked tgem to stop, they did, and tried to apply solution so it wouldn't hurt my landscaping. I dont see any evidence that any brushing off of moss was done. Main contact had said i was so close to headquarters, could fit me in quicker, but that turned out to not provide both parties with enough heads up. I would hire them again, i would just make sure i had a firm appointment and clear understanding of process. Techs were very customer service oriented. Since they never really looked at my roof, i feel i way over paid for visual moss on less than an 1/8 of my roof, where id just had a tree cut down. Site claims, details of service determine cost but i was quoted $400 for 1/2 roof, with no-one ever really looking at job. Again, i dont think informal is way to go with this company.

    Cousins Construction
They were professional, on-time, very friendly, they listened to our concerns, responded to our requests, and were very fair with completing the work for the estimate given. We had no issues with trusting them when we were not home and we were very satisfied with the work that was performed. We are already thinking about hiring them again next year for more work that needs to be done. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
