    I was caught completely off guard one afternoon while seven months pregnant, 2 kids at home, and a husband out of town on a work trip. A quick phone conversation with some trouble shooting steps let us quickly realize that our outside electrical box (where the main power comes into the house) was badly damanged and needed to be replaced AND then inspected by National Grid before being turned back on. I was in panic mode. Bergovec Electric responded right away, was out to my house within a few hours, and completed the job by that evening. The pricing was extremely fair and they handled all communication with National Grid as well. We now have several home remodel projects in the works and have consulted with, and plan to hire, Bergovec Electric again!

    The men did an excellent job, no mess anywhere, no splash over on my garage door or foundation. The only thing that bugged me is they were giving a new employee the scoop on the company and never stopped talking the whole time they were here, so I wondered if they were too distracted to do the job. But when I looked at the driveway it was great! I guess some people can walk and chew gum at the same time!

    I decided to try to try Angie���s List before joining. I never had the contractor come out for an estimate as he cancelled his appointment today after I waited two weeks for him and did not seem to have any intention of rescheduling when I could not accommodate the one day he offered this week. Rather he persisted in bringing up the fact that I had previously cancelled twice. Actually, I had rescheduled once but shortly after scheduling and with notice, but had cancelled a same day appointment for an estimate due to a serious emergent medical condition requiring medical attention. I was very apologetic at the time and today, but his manner was unprofessional and lacking in any common human decency, courtesy, or understanding. I informed him having him reschedule sounded too stressful for both of us. It appears he prefers to work with customers at his own discretion and convenience, which in my opinion are very questionable business practices. I was never informed of a cancellation policy, and was only cancelling an appointment for an estimate, not for a crew to do the work with an appointment which had been booked weeks ahead, which I would not do out of concern and respect for his business and his obviously busy job scheduled. I had also tried to inform him that I arranged to have my husband on tap as a backup. I could not reach Angie���s list by phone, but I have no intention of joining or using the service again, given this negative experience.

    Wonderful experience! I called Duane Friday late afternoon when my Water heater wouldn't start. He gave me some pointers over the phone on things to try. The other vendors I called wouldn't even want to try to repair the Water Heater. When nothing worked, I called Prime back for them to come replace the water heater. Duane gave me an approximate cost of $900.00 for replacement, $200 BELOW the others I called. I also used the Angie's List coupon for an additional $25 off. Neal called back - we scheduled it for Monday morning first thing. Monday Morning @ 8, I got a call from Neal saying they were coming over between 8:30 & 9. Just after 9AM, Tony showed up Neal came over a little later to assist Tony for a while. Both Tony and Neal were superb in their politeness and professionalism. The work got done in about 3 hours, due to a run out to Home Depot for a couple parts. The Water Heater works GREAT. I would hire them in an instant for any needs. Awesome service!!!

    Zane came to my House on Monday and gave me an estimate. We scheduled to. have the Work done on Tuesday. Early Tuesday morning as they stated Fonseca Plumbing and Drain showed up and began the work. They completed the work in record time and explain the new system Fully. Very pleased with their work.

    They came out same day I called and fixed the garage door that would not open. Everything went well and the gentleman that performed the service was pleasant. They do not accept payment at time of job and send you a bill in the mail.

    I contacted Neal Carr by his website email and he got back to me in a little over 24 hours. With the fine timing only seen from appliances, my gas furnace stopped producing significant heat on Friday night. As I could wait, Neal scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. I was particularly pleased he made the arrangements by email, as that's easiest for me. He provided the name of the technician; it's nice to know who's coming and I think it shows a well organized business. Antonio Flores was the technician. He arrived within the agreed on time period, was knowledgeable, good natured and patient. He didn't seem to mind me hanging around and saying "what's that?" Antonio spent a little extra time making sure the problem I had was the only problem. He was nice enough to do a little extra cleaning and check the air filter. The diagnosis, repair and cleaning of the furnace was done in a little over an hour. He cleaned up after himself and put things back where he found them. He showed me the bill on his tablet, explained what was done, and sent me a copy while we stood there. He mentioned there were maintenance plans but didn't push. The only thing I would like to see addressed was the unavoidable tracking in of snow. I don't expect that shoes will be taken off, but something that reduces how much is left on the floor where I don't see it until I've stepped on it would be nice. Prime Heating and Air responded quickly, sent out a knowledgeable and pleasant technician, provided a bill easy to understand, and the technician did a little extra to fix the problem and check for other problems. I would definitely hire them again.

    My furnace is apparently enamored of Prime, as it did the same thing as last month: clog up something important that panicked the burner into immediately turning itself off only seconds after turning itself on. This was not an emergency but I still got an appointment within a couple of days. Duane came out and brought with him everything he needed. He was on time, recognized the problem, and was patient with me standing around and asking questions. After fixing the furnace so when it turned on it actually stayed on, he inspected more of the pipe that leads away from the furnace. He found a couple of rust spots, discovered the roof vent didn't have a cap and was letting in moisture, and explained why these things were clogging up the safety thing. Later, he sent an easily understandable repair estimate that included everything; no surprise additional payments. I like all inclusive bills as I know what a repair will cost and don't have to try and budget for end work fees. My only suggestion is a professional badge with picture and company name be considered. The architect who designed these townhouses apparently felt the only thing a resident wanted to see through the front door is the front lawn; vehicles pulled up to the garage can't be seen. Answering the door to a stranger is worrisome.

    Karen the owner came out and gave us and estimate and found out the scope of work we wanted done. She was prompt and professional, was willing to work around our 2 aging dogs and that was important to us. She came on the scheduled day and did Exactly what she said she was going to do and MORE! Folded blankets, arranged pillows, used the cleaners we wanted and just did the small stuff that makes a difference and that other companies don't do. She was honest and curious to a fault; she found change and placed it on tables where she found it! Down to even a dime we found set aside! Plus our dogs love when she comes too. Completely satisfied with her work.
