    John did a beyond great job at a fair price. He was punctual, neat in his work, and came up with an awesome but difficult solution to my vent issue that involved cutting through a concrete wall to put a louvered vent on the outside and did it all without complaining. I had an unrelated problem a couple weeks later and he made time for me in his busy schedule that same day and everything has been fine since. I HIGHLY recommend this contractor!!

    My GE gas dryer was making a squealing noise that got progressively got worse and worse. Used Angie's List, of course, to find a reputable repair man. John had 200+ favorable reviews and a couple coworkers spoke very highly of him. I contacted him on a Monday morning, he told me he would be over later that day. John showed up around noon, he called me first to tell me he was on his way. Within 10 minutes he had the front off of my dryer and the trouble diagnosed! On top of that, he had the parts on his truck! Really? How many repair shops have inventory in their vans these days? After a good internal inspection and cleaning, John reassembled my dryer in a matter of minutes. Turned her on and she sounds like brand new all over again. Can't say enough about how prompt, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable John was. I'll never call another person to service my appliances, NEVER! Thanks John and God Bless You sir!

    Dryer wasn?t heating, John came right over, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. While in there showed me some obvious wear on the drum wheels (it?s 14 yrs old) had him replace those and was out in about an hour. I both use and recommend him!

    John Boucher is one of the last of the *best of Syracuse* and it was refreshing to find him amidst the bottom of the barrel. I grew up in Syracuse and have seen the slow decline which seems to have started back in the 1990s when people began leaving this town in droves. Over the years there has been a gradual shift in quality of professional services (or those that claim to be professional, I should say) and it is extremely difficult to find services that offer solid work ethic, old-school etiquette, accountability, and good manners all in one. Not to mention this guy is one of the nicest people I've ever met!
    John will remind you of the way things used to be. I remember Syracuse in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Something has changed for the worse, and now it's like scraping the barrel here to find quality workmanship -- what used to be the norm.
    John, if you are reading this -- thank you. Thanks for your professionalism and for being the best in your business, at least in this town. You deserve an A++ rating, and I will definitely be referring you to anyone I encounter who needs appliance repair. I'm saddened at the decline of Syracuse as a whole, but encouraged that there are still people like you who make people like me feel like there might still be hope.

    Our dishwasher has had some problems with draining for the past few months and usually I've been able to fix it by just cleaning out the screen at the bottom. But, eventually, that didn't work anymore and none of the DIY videos on YouTube addressed my particular model. So, I called John. It ended up being a really good choice - he was able to remove some parts that I didn't know were removable, cleaned out some gunk that was inside the mechanism, and that seemed to fix it. 
    The only problem I had was that he was unable to come on the first date that we had arranged. However, I'm not taking off any points for "Punctuality" because he was upfront with me on the phone about how he might not be able to come at that time, and that he would check in with me about it, which he did. He then gave me a realistic estimate for when he could come the following day and he showed up then, even though it was late in the day for him. It's terrible that it's so rare for a repairman to get good marks just for being honest about when he'll show up, but it's definitely a plus in my book!
    John did a good job, and I'd call him again if we have the same problem. He seems to know a lot about appliances and how to fix them.

    Have used this provider for appliance service twice before and everything went very well. I previously gave a glowing review. I called and spoke with owner 1-1/2 weeks before Thanksgiving because I thought gas was leaking when we used our stove. He stated he was very busy with the holiday coming, but would call me back the next day. He didn't call back. I left 2 more messages for him to try and schedule, without a call back. I would totally understand if he was too busy to schedule an appointment, but feel it would have been more professional to let me know this instead of just not returning my calls. I think John is a good guy who did good work previously, just VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    Called and then dropped off the unit. CWA charged a nominal fee (refundable if repairs made) and explained the problem and provided an estimate of both cost and time to repair.
    Upon authorization, they ordered the part(s), repaired the unit and called.
    Microwave was repaired and picked up in less than a week.

    I loved the guy that came out. He was really good. I needed somebody to come and look at my dryer because it was making this really awful noise and the dryer is not even a year old and he came out and took the dryer apart. I had my son here at that time and he literally walked my son through everything that he did step-by-step, showed him exactly what he was doing, found the cause, showed it to my son and then had my son help him put it all back so that in case we ever have the problem again he would be able to do it and we would not have to wait for a service call which was really nice. As it turned out in showing my son and taking his time and everything, he left and probably four days later, my dryer started making a different noise and I was like, "What the heck?" So, I called him back and he came right over. He looked at the dryer and said, "You know what, this is my fault. I was showing your son and we were doing it. I should have checked this one last thing. This is entirely my fault." He fixed it, never charged me and admitted that it was his fault. He did not try to get me for another service call or tried to say that it was something else and I told all my friends about him. His price was also very reasonable.

He came after his scheduled appointments. 9:00pm (at my request) He took dryer apart, had the needed belt (in his truck) I was very surprised  that he didn't have to order it. And finished up within an hour. I was very pleased with the work he did. He seemed honest and would definitely call again! GOOD COMPANY!! Thanks for everything, keep up the good work and great attitude.....
