    CRITTER SITTERS
I used this service for many years because I travel for work. Thanks to a carpenter working at my house, I learned that my dog was getting dropped off first thing in the morning when I wasn't going to be home until late in the day and was paying for the full day. I also learned that while I was paying for my dog to enjoy the outdoor setting, they were putting her in the critter car to keep the driver company when he did walks and home visits. Now my dog hates riding in the car. When confronted, Stephanie screamed at me that she was too busy to worry about one dog and this is what worked for them. It was a nightmare. So much goes on there that clients don't know about. BEWARE!

    The BED N BOWL
My dog receives great attention, even though the facility is boarding others dogs, the owner sets up drop off and pick up times in order to reduce the possible stress which an older dog or any dog might experience going into a new location. My dog is excited when she arrives and is happy when picked up. She appears well cared for; although a little tired when she gets home, and I think that is a good sign; physical and mental exercise. The owners are friendly and have a lot of knowledge about the care, needs and safety of dogs and other animals. I am slightly protective of my dog, since she hurt her leg last year, and parts of the outside area has thick rubber on the ground to reduce hurting knees. The kennel has an impressive set-up, allowing dogs who get along to hang together and separated when needed. Also each outside area provides large spaces for the animals, it is near a stream, has large fields, and dogs are not able to get to the street, safety is one of the primary concerns. Also the price includes the nights that the dog is there, which I think is very reasonable.

    CRITTER SITTERS
I have two dogs, one is an older lab and the other is a younger lab. The younger lab was a rescue and when he first came to our house he needed lots of exercise and positive attention. He is beginning his third year with daycare and the older lab also spends time at the daycare and both have been at Critter Sitters for several day overnights, several times over the years. Both really like being there, the staff is friendly, the staff know the dogs names, and dogs appear comfortable with all of the staff. The younger dog is very happy when we turn into the driveway; he stands up, wags his tall and whines to get out of the car, and he quickly runs to door. Both get a good workout, and are tired when they come home. They need different levels of exercise and this has been taken into consideration and I very much appreciate the individual care.

    PETSMART
They handled the dog very well.  They had an open window where you can watch them cut the dog.  They seemed to be able to calm the dog.  I could not see the back location to know what goes on back there.

    Chittenango Animal Hospital

EVERYONE at Chittenango Animal Hospital was simply wonderful! We never had any doubt that our pup was getting the best possible care. Also they were very up front about cost, giving us a low and a high estimate with an explanation that in the end it would depend on the needs of the patient. As it happened we ended up somewhere in the middle.

As a further testament to the fine care provided, yesterday was a final follow up visit. My wife was concerned that Ava (our dog) would be nervous about going back. Far from it! When Ava saw her caregivers she greeted them with tail wagging and kisses.

We have now received services from both Dr. Cook and Dr. Bongiovanni (sp?) They (and the rest of the staff) are simply excellent! I would recommend them to anyone.

    Chittenango Animal Hospital
Dr. Bongiovanni is an excellent vet and her staff is wonderful. We were
seeing a "boutique" vet and we found the prices outrageous. We switched
to Dr. B and received a thorough examination for my dogs skin condition
and prompt - that day - biposy. Her problem was treated after proper
diagnosis and excellent follow up care. The price was half that of the other vet. We are very pleased with the care our dog receives.

    Chittenango Animal Hospital
It's always an event when I take my dogs and cats for their routine visits ... I book 2 or 3 time slots and bring them in 2 or 3 at a time ...the staff is great ... I'm always kept informed if they are there for surgery or dental work.
