The repair work went very smoothly and was expertly done. I was informed every step of the way as to what the problems were and the best course of action to fix them. Recommendations were offered for the least expensive options. Communication was excellent in setting up appointments and I received text messages on estimated time of arrival. I did not have to wait for long periods of time for the technician to arrive. In my experience, this company is highly professional, knowledgeable, reliable and fairly priced. I highly recommend them.

I believe it went well once we decided on the best course of action to solve our issues. Duane explained all our questions and concerns. We are pleased with the service work done and would recommend Prime Heat and air.

I chose this company based on Angie's List reviews. "Zac" called me and set up an appointment with me for last Friday between 1-1:30. He was a no show w/o a courtesy call to r/s or to say he would be late, which would have been acceptable. When I spoke with him initially to set up the appointment, he was professional and informative. This was disappointing as I waited until 3 pm before I left the house to do errands. There was zero regard for my time and that is not acceptable! I would have much rather given this company a great review, however, their behavior wouldn't allow it:(

After initial scheduling mix-up, he was on time and completed the work professionally. He advised me on the age and condition of the unit without any sales pressure. He extended a discount for the scheduling mix-up without hesitation, which was appreciated.

After playing a bit of phone tag (my fault...I was just not able to call or answer their return calls during my work day), I talked with a woman at their office. She said she would have the tech call me. He called within a 1/2 hour and said he was 13 miles away and could come right then! Very pleasantly surprised with that as I figured there must be 100's of calls with the heat wave. The tech, Joe, was here for about 1 - 1.5 hours. He serviced the unit and it's been working perfectly! Joe really seemed to know his stuff and knew exactly what to do! Very pleased with Cooney!

Duane was great. Gave me his opinions on the type of system I should get, and wasn't trying to upsell me. He came to my house to quote me on Tuesday and started the install first thing Thursday morning. The work he did was great and very clean.

We had just bought the house and they had an inground propane tank, plus three tanks that were in the storage shed. We wanted to use a different provider because after researching, these people were too expensive. They had too many misc. fees. It was very difficult to get them to take care of their tanks.  It cost us a lot of money to have the inground tank removed because we could only use it if we used their propane.

    Madison Stove And Water
Ordered coal on September 30th and paid in full and scheduled an appointment for them to clean our coal stove for the morning of October 8th.  They cancelled that on and rescheduled for the 9th they called and said they had over booked and asked if they could come the next day.  We agreed and they said they would be there in the morning.  They finally showed around 4 pm on the 10th.  They did not do a thorough cleaning, did not adjust the damper and took both of the blowers back to their shop to clean with an air compressor that they should have had with them.  They finally brought the blowers back on the 22nd, but still had no door handles and no coal.  As of today my husband has called them on several occasions and they still do not have the coal or the door handles.  To be honest this is the worst service I have ever had.  We used this place last year, but the original owners sold it and the brothers who bought it have no idea what they are doing.  Don't expect a return call because they just don't call, you have to keep calling them and all you get are excuses.

    TAG Mechanical Systems
Initial contact to price system was very pleasant, no pressure and agent fully explained what would be done and all the options I had. Upon signing a contract the installers were there on time and were extremely professional leaving the place in better condition than when they arrived. EVERYTHING was excellent in all aspects. After the install, I was contacted to make sure I was happy, etc. There may be less expensive options out there (and I have used them in the past) but I will only be using TAG in the future for all my HVAC issues. I can't say enough about their sales and service staff. You won't go wrong with these folks doing the job. I would very highly recommend them for any home performance items you may be interested in. You won't be sorry.

    Falso Service Experts
I cant begin to describe all my frustration with this company.
I originally called them because I was having furnace issues that I thought were in part to my NEST Digital Thermostat. Service Experts was listed as a NEST Certified Installer. I figured this was easier than trying to use another HVAC company who had either never heard of NEST or never worked with it, and might blame the thermostat for my problems.
The technician who arrived, while polite and courteous, had no idea what might be the issue with my furnace. He spent an hour there, and seemed to think changing some settings on the NEST had fixed the problems. He admitted he had never worked with NEST and this was his first time seeing it - despite me telling the clerk that took my original phone call that I had a NEST thermostat, and I had asked them to send someone knowledgable on it.
While the technician was there, he convinced me to buy a service package for twice a year maintenance on the furnace and the central air. I figured it was a decent deal, and took it.
A day later, the problems continued. The furnace would turn on and over constantly, while the burners would never fire. I called them back, and they redispatched the same technician. He was unable to diagnose the situation, and I suggested we call NEST technical support which walked him through the same troubleshooting that I had performed myself with NEST. He determined that I might need a Common Wire between the thermo and the furnace, despite NEST stating that this is not necessary, and recommended I schedule that service. At the same time he "diagnosed" that I had a bad primary control board in my furnace by using a multimeter on it. I agreed to order that part.
A few hours later, he returned with the part, installed it, and nothing changed. I was still having this intermittent problem. He then suggested I keep the new board, because the old board "will eventually fail" and you might as well pre-replace this one. At $500 for the board, I told him no way. He then had to call his manager, and we negotiated me paying a service call fee of $120 instead of the $500 part. He left, and we never did solve the problem.
A few days later, despite me paying for the service with my credit card, I received a bill in the mail, and had to call both the national Service Experts phone line, and the local office so we could "figure out" why I was being double charged. Eventually they credited my account for the double charge.
The final straw was tonight, a few months later. My central air service had been scheduled for May 11th for months. I called this morning to confirm service for tomorrow. They confirmed. I left the house, and when I got home tonight, there was a voicemail on my phone from Service Experts apologizing, but they did not have a technician available tomorrow for my service, and I needed to call them back to reschedule.
I plan on calling them when they open or Monday morning and canceling my service contract. Their repeated failures in customer service, and purely deceitful service is horrific.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
