    V-Con Company
I paid this man $65,000 for renovating my house. He took all of my money and ran off, stole all of the supplied that I paid for separately, and then refused to pick up my phone calls. Do not hire this man, he is a fraud and owes money to several unassuming customers in the Buffalo area.

    SOURCE1 Construction
They cut so many corners please do not sure this company!! Our contract said they would excavate 6in and they only excavated 4. This company used chunks of black top as fill, even after a conversation were he told me he would remove all the pieces left but still didn't. Contracts said rock will be used as base but this contractor only used a very thin coat of rock that covered only half the driveway. He pitcher a slop so water drians right into my garage. Sealed the driveway with dirt all over it. He left a foot grab at the end of the driveway and told be i needed to find someone who does blacktop to fix it. He also used my neighbors hose without permission during a house showing and broke the srayer. The guy who owns the company is super nice but for me he made a bunch of unkept promises and cut corners

    Real Help Decorative Concrete
In 2015 we had Real Help Concrete and 4 other estimates for concrete project. When we finally decided to finally pull the trigger in 2017. Real Help was the only company a called based the first meeting Josh a few years ago. His drawings and ideas were amazing!! Josh and Jon and their crew were amazing. They installed a new driveway and stamped patio at our home. It's looks wonderful!! Unfortunately we did have one minor issue during the pour on our driveway. A pocket thunderstorm came out of no where. Which caused some damage onto on some sections on our driveway. Josh was not happy at all the way that area came out. He is going to replace the entire section. They truely stand by their work and craftsmanship. Josh and Jon thank you again for everything!!

    Integrated Home Improvements
John was very professional and knowledgeable about what caused my problem. He gave me a detailed estimate and performed the work. He repaired the blocks, replaced those that were needed, caulked, power washed replace the sidewalk in front of the porch so that the rain would run away from the porch, replaced a railing with new which also required patching the vinyl siding. I am very please how everything turned out. I would highly recommend him and would hire him again if needed.

    Four Season Concrete Inc.
We are so disappointed in the outcome of our driveway. Mike started off as really great and really responsive to our calls. Towards the end when we weren't happy with the results he was less responsive. We paid extra for a beautiful stamped patio, that now has a huge gouge in it from the saw blade as well as spots from the sealant. Our driveway has spots all over from the sealant, it looks terrible, spill marks, spray marks on my house, and uneven saw lines. The apron of the driveway is uneven. One side tapers in while the other flares out. There is a chunk of concrete missing from my sidewalk and scrape marks on some areas. They drew lines on my house with a sharpie marker that are still visible. They never back filled any soil and they left tools on my front lawn for 2 weeks. Some parts of the driveway, where the saw cuttings end are already cracking and it has only been 3 months. My husband and I are sick about the whole situation and unfortunately were unable to get any resolution. At the same time, his crew was redoing my neighbors driveway as well; he is also extremely disappointed in the outcome.

    Ventry Concrete Contracting
Ventry completed entire driveway and sidewalk in May 2016. Within 7 months part of the driveway began to show signs of pitting and the layer of stones was coming through. When we called Ventry (the son) was rude and stated they did not offer any guartantees, but he would come by to take a look. We had to call 7-8 times after, again dealing with his attitude and promises to come by. Finally, after many phones calls he showed up in Jan. 2016 and stated the pitting was from the winter and salt. Buffalo had the mildest winter in history the winter of 2016 and we only saw one snowplow truck the entire winter. The concrete was not cracking, it was deteriorating. He then stated he would have his insurance person come by for an assessment, which took again several phone calls.requesting the promised assessment. Insurance agent did admit it could have been faulty concrete from being over mixed. Ventry finally agreed they would replace the area of pitting (1/3 of the driveway). The promise began in June of 2017. We called every week asking for a date and was pushed up into the the next month. July we called four more times and told they would get to us in September. In September we called three more time and was told they would talk to us in a few weeks. In October we called and the father told us we would see them in a week. To date Oct. 15, they have not done the work. We are now going to file a claim against them. Horrible Horrible company. Would NOT recommend them. we welcome anyone to come by and take a look their faulty work prior to hiring them.

    Elite Concrete
First off Ray was wonderful. We knew we had a difficult job because we had a small entrance into our yard so big equipment would not fit. He was up front that the price might be more because of the manual labor and extra time. I thank him for that because other companies came out when the saw the job never called or returned my calls. Ray worked with my schedule to get the job done. His team was always on time and worked very hard. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend and hire again. Don't be sticker shocked on the cost we had a lot of work and manual labor.

Although Ray and I had some communication issues early on, once we got everything settled, he and his team did an excellent job on my driveway, etc.  It's only been a week and a half, so I haven't been able to actually drive or park on it, but it looks great.  Ray's cement removal guy, Tony, was at my house by 7:30am the first day with his bobcat, and did a great job at removing the old driveway.  There were a couple places on the driveway that I was concerned about. One was an underground power-line between my house and my garage that I had no idea how deep it had been laid, since that had been done long before I bought the house.  Another was along the driveway side of my house, as my basement wall has a horizontal crack in it, presumably due to the original builders laying the foundation in two different pours, but the second one had been poured too long after the first one began to cure causing a line across that wall, which had cracked over the years.  I wanted to make sure that they were very careful while removing the concrete against the house there, and Tony did a great and careful job with that.
I worked from home while they were working on my driveway.  I watched how they worked, and I have to say that I wouldn't want to do their job.  Both the day of removal and the day of pouring the concrete were very warm days, and it looked like a hard job to do.  I didn't know how much was involved in pouring concrete and getting it set right.  They were literally on their hands and knees with trowels swiping back and forth to level and smooth it out.  They did a great job!
My old driveway, at least most of it, was the original driveway poured when my house was built in 1949.  It was in really rough shape between the house and the garage thanks to our winters over the years. Hopefully, this new driveway will be able to withstand the Buffalo winters for years to come.  It sure will be nice to push my snow-blower across my driveway and not run into an edge of concrete like I've been dealing with for the past 10 years or so.

Came to my house a week and half later stating that he can only lift and touchup from what he originally gave a written estimate on....he lifted the block up and cracked it and then threw a couple of pieces of other rocks that he busted from the side of cracked ones and then put cement on looks like garbage and now its still not even.....we had a discussion and he proceeded to rant and rave about how cheap the cost was and started using profanity when I questioned some of his comments.....I filed a BBB complaint and the boss of company (his brother-Mike) called and left message that his brother, Jerry, doesn't work for company and wanted to know if the estimate was on company letterhead, which it is, hour later Jerry called, who did the job, complaining that they have been in business since 1955 I should not have written my complaint to the BBB over such a small matter.....I would suggest that if your looking for a business to handle concrete work to stay away from these guys....I believe they are dis-honest and they all do work together and I don't believe that these two brother don't work together as said by brother Mike......They are (Jerry) un-professional and have no respect for customers per their attitude and language.......Buyer Beware......look elsewhere

    Elite Concrete
The FINAL price ended up STILL being about $1500.00 cheaper than top guys here on Angie's List.  All in all, this guy and his team were SUPERIOR workers and helped walk me through entire process.  In the end, the finished product FAR exceeded my expectations and I am VERY happy.  I would definitely hire him again in the future.  They are poured concrete ARTISTS!!
