The crew was very professional. They were very clean and organzied. They completed everything on time and i couldnt be happier with the outcome. LockTight is the only company i would ever contract for future jobs. They know what they are doing and they do it right.

    UTECH BASEMENT WATERPROOFING

long story short, this company was recommended by a local engineer. when talking to this company they basically expressed that this wasn't something that they would be interested in. that it was a big job. I told the gentleman to forget it, I would move on to the next contractor. i didn't want to waste anymore of their time or mine. because he was basically telling me this wasn't something they were willing to do.  he told me to sit tight, he would talk to his boss and call me back. he called me back and told me they couldn't do the work. BIG WASTE of my time.

Accomplished all work in one day. Filled in all places where grass and soil had been dug up. Left everything immaculate. We love these guys, and after the parade of used-car salesmen who drove up in their fancy sports cars, insulted us with enormous estimates and then regaled us with their political and religious beliefs, we were thrilled to receive accurate and informative information! bravo, Young Waterproofing!  I will never hesitate to recommend you!

The wall cracks were repaired from both the outside and inside. This took one day.  The drain tile work was amazing in that it also took only one day. For the drain tile, a five man crew did all the work in one day. For both jobs, the crews were professional, prompt, polite, hard-working and as clean as such jobs are possible. One thing I liked is that they worked directly for Locktight under the direction of a very knowledgeable crew chief. Each member of the crew had a specialty that he concentrated on but also worked well in the group when needed. The area was cleaned up well and my stuff was returned to the original locations. The work done by Locktight solved the water problems. If anything else in the basement has a water issue, I would definitely rely on this company.

    AFFORDABLE DRAINAGE CO INC
did a good job installing a new underground sump pump line from house to the street. owner was on job site the entire time and did a lot of the work himself, which I really like to see. very neat job - wouldn't even know they were here when done. Price was very, very good. They even waited over an hour after they were done for the town inspector to show up to review before closing up. Overall, very satisfied and would use again.

    UTECH BASEMENT WATERPROOFING
The previous owners of our home sealed a crack in the basement wall in a very DIY-fashion. While it wasn't pretty, it held up fairly well. However, the seal failed and began hemorrhaging water as a result of pre-Christmas rain storms and melting snow.
I consulted Utech to request a quote. I was called by David Utech (owner/owner's son) the following day, and we agreed that he would stop by on 12/26/2013 for an estimate. A very friendly person, David arrived on time and pointed out a long line of calcium-formation from where water was pressing against the seal. He went on to explain Utech's process for repairing the crack and quoted me a price of $816 (after tax). The price was on par with other companies I researched on AL, so I went ahead we were scheduled for 1/3/2014 at 9AM.
Sure enough, Brian and Jay from Utech arrived at my house on the scheduled date, a bit early. Both very nice gentlemen, they explained what they were going to do. Before setting to work, they laid down a walkway of plastic wrapping leading from my kitchen down to the basement, so as not to get our floors and carpet dirty. This was something I sincerely appreciated, and a nice touch that I know isn't done by all companies.
They set to work right away, and about 30 minutes into the job, I headed downstairs to check on the process. This was good timing, as they had a portion of the floor jackhammered away (part of the process). Brian informed me that the previous homeowners failed to properly cap off a plumbing line that was used for a 1/2 bathroom. Additionally, there wasn't any drain tile connected to the sump pump from that specific area and a couple of other issues of concern.
Although we never experienced any problems caused by Brian's discovery, I figured we may as well fix the issues since the ground was already opened up. I asked him to revise the estimate. He called David, who advised that the work could be done for an additional $300. Doing the work after the fact would've been about $650. I told Brian and Jay to go ahead with the additional work.
They finished the seal and corrected the issues by 1PM. Once done, they cleaned the work area thoroughly, as well as our kitchen floor. All told, I was very happy with the work done. Although it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, I'm glad that things were addressed now versus later.

Workmen excavated outside down to foundation to provide exterior repair, then sealed interior, and provided drainage directing covers down to drain tile. Very thorough job. We have had several heavy rains since, of the type that caused heavy leakage into the basement, and so far not a drop has entered. Workman were careful of my plantings. Work was carefully explained. I was able to get a discount by waiting for the company to do my "small job" between other larger works, and did not find this to be a problem. Area was cleaned after work was done.

They did a very good job, didn't take them long and it doesn't leak anymore. The job was good, they dug up the grass, put in the drain tile, put the grass right back down again and right now you could never tell it was dug up. They know what they are doing and I used them three times and each time, the job was done right. My sister-in-law had them because she had a major foundation problem with her house and they went in and fixed it and they guaranteed their work for life. Their price was fair, they're not cheap but you get your money's worth. They came out when I called them. They are very nice, know what they are doing and they do it right. I won't call anybody else.

The job was excellent. They were a very honest company. It is family run. They stake their reputation against their name. They were very reliable and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't overwork the job so they could get more money. They were very honest and did a good job and solved our problems.

    Everdry Waterproofing New York
They contacted us approximately 2 weeks after the home show and we scheduled an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate.  They did not show up for the appointment.  When we called to find out why and confirm the date & time they were scheduled for (we thought maybe we had gotten it wrong), they said they didn't see us on the schedule for that date and that they "could not" look up to see if we were scheduled on another day.  They indicated that they always call one day in advance to remind you of the appointment, and told us if we haven't received a reminder call yet then our appointment was scheduled for a later date.  We never received a reminder call, nor did anyone ever show up to give an estimate.  We have not heard from Everdry since and it has been 7 weeks from the Home Show, 5 weeks since we scheduled the appointment, and 2 weeks from our scheduled appointment time.  With all the hard promoting they did at the Home Show (free t-shirts, $250 drawing), I'm surprised that they don't want or need our business.  We have made the assumption that this might be because they are a Rochester-based company and just aren't capable or large enough to service the Buffalo area effectively.  We are now looking at other basement waterproofing companies, especially ones that have received good reviews on Angie's List and in the Buffalo area.
