Overall the experience goes very well. However, be prepared to spend at least 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours for the entire appointment. The technicians I've had are very professional. Waiting areas are spacious and clean. This time after the mammogram the technician came back and said the doctor who reviewed them said they were fine - and she gave me the option of accepting this or having the doctor come in and speak to me personally (I declined). In previous visits, the doctor would herself come in and speak to me to tell me the results. I gave "bedside manner" a "B" only because the technicians seemed a bit rushed and brusk as a result - although at the same time they were friendly enough. (Can't help but wonder if this is because they're over-booked?)

The Leslie Simon Breast Care Center
This program is one of Englewood Hospital's Centers Of Excellence, so I needed to register at the main hospital admitting office, which was handled smoothly, quickly and efficiently. I was then directed to the Center, where I was given more paperwork to fill out and then submitted my imagery. I was told that I would be contacted as soon as the review was complete. I happened to call a day before notification was to be mailed to me, recommending additional sonograms. I have made the appointment to have the sonograms performed.

It has been15 years since my first appointment with Dr. Lygas and I have been totally satisfied and comfortable with his treatment, the information he has given me, and the care of his staff and the hospital and surgical center he works with.

    Montclair Breast Center
From the mammogram, to the radiologist sitting with me to explain the results, to Dr. Elliott's exam and ultrasound,   all was just perfect.  I feel very comfortable in the center.  In fact, we are planning on moving to south Jersey and I have already told my husband, that Dr. Elliott is one doctor that I can not replace.  So we will be coming up the 60+ miles for my exams.

    Montclair Breast Center
Montclair Breast Center are excellent, 5-star rating. I can't think of anything I don't like about them there. I usually go on a year check-up but I'm going about six months and I'm scheduled to go beginning of August. They're very, very caring. They just look out for the patients and how they feel not just diagnosing. They just make you feel like you're being taken care of and they are doing it, it's not just a passing thing. You just know that when you go there you're getting quality care. My mother had breast cancer about seven years ago and my mom went to them for the whole care process; the operation. Before that, the way we found out was through a friend. If you're in a bind they can see you in probably the same or next day. If it's just  a routine, obviously they're booked up pretty much because they're so popular but if you have a concern and you're stressed at all, they would take you in readily. The only downfall of them is they are not a network provider so that's probably the only thing that we find tough. For me, I'm okay but my mom needs to go back for a check-up but they are really pricey and you can't really  get coverage. Their services are so valuable they opted out to take insurance. They do so excellent.

Simply put, Dr. Vickery is absolute tops in terms of possessing the full complement of traits one hopes to find in a surgeon. She is exceedingly knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate - a rare combination of traits to find in a surgeon. In connection with our methodical journey to find a plastic surgeon of the highest caliber with whom to work following my bilateral mastectomy, my husband and I knew from the start that we would be in the very best hands with Dr. Vickery. Her thorough manner, intellect, deep concern for her patients and - significantly - complete investment in achieving the most optimum outcome possible contribute to Dr. Vickery's well earned place as a first-rate surgeon and person operating at the top of her field. She is also a warm and steady advocate for women dealing with the range of items connected with any decision to undergo any form of plastic surgery. The outcome of my breast reconstruction - natural, comfortable and aesthetically beautiful to both my husband and me - is an incredible testament to Dr. Vickery's wide range of talents, depth of experience and artful work. My husband and I both feel it has been an utmost privilege to have had the enormous and life-changing benefits of Dr. Vickery's guidance and will be forever appreciative to her as well as her excellent staff for the smooth process leading to - as well as the wonderful outcome of - my reconstruction. We recommend Dr. Vickery with the highest levels of genuine enthusiasm and heartfelt support.

If you require a handicap access(walker, wheelchair, cane) you need to let them know ahead of time. Entry into the building are mainly steps and the offices are in the basement. There is a ramp in the back of the building used by employees and can be used for the handicap but the staff would need to be aware that you require this service. The staff was very efficient and I was seen promptly . Dr. Capizzi was nice and and professional and answered all my questions. He did have a medical student accompany him. I had no problems with the billing procedure.

From our first consultation until my mastectomy I have got nothing but praise and respect for the doctor as well as her entire staff. I could not have made a better choice for my medical care.  Her voice and manner put you completely at ease. I can't imagine going through this with any other physician.

    Warden, Dr. Mary Jane
She saved my life. I had a mammogram. She is a little dry but she is good at what she does. She has bedside manner and she made it comfortable. She is compassionate and passionate. Her staff is wonderful, she has an amazing nurse. The only bad thing is you have to wait. I made an early morning appointment but i had to wait.

It went very well. The lump was benign. She saw it on a CAT scan. She is a breast doctor, so I went with her. She is a very nice doctor.
