Chris renovated two bathrooms spring 2018. A year later, they are still perfect; we are very happy with the results. Perfection is a good description of the way Chris works. It is a blessing and a curse. His work is excellent but b/c he wants everything to be perfect he works very slowly. We had a deadline b/c the work was being done in a condo unit and we barely made it. The job took twice as long as we had been told to expect and there were no unusual circumstances during construction. I would hire again only if I wasn't concerned about a timeline.

Jim and his son were excellent. Very friendly and did an extremely professional job on our new backsplash. They were very accommodating and helped me choose the right materials for the job before they arrived. Jim also was able to squeeze us into his already-booked schedule to get the job done for us before Christmas. Already reviewing my todo list to see what else I can hire them for!

Marty is a very engaging guy and I thought we had a great repoire, However after our initial meeting during the bid phase, we never heard back from him with a bid and ended up going with another great company. I'm sure he is a great contractor, we hope all is well with him and would look forward to hearing from him again if he is ever free to do some work in the future.

Chris did all the demolition of our old kitchen and installation of a new one, including cabinets, counter tops and appliances.
He enlarged the opening between kitchen and dining room and installed an island, which turned out to be the perfect size for the space. He helped my plan and installed the desk/computer area that the large kitchen area accomodates.

He was more than patient with me as I repeatedly changed my mind about where things should go, which cabinet looked best where and what trim looked better than the one I originally chose. He installed and re-installed several times.

He exchanged the wrong faucet I bought, a 50 mile round trip, after respectfully explaining I probably wouldn't want  the one I'd originally chosen. He was right.

I did not work with a decorator, so things took quite awhile, as I made decisions as we went along. He never added to the original price as I took more of his time than I'm sure he anticipated.

His price was much lower than any other quote. He showed up when he said he would and didn't drop in unannounced.

    I'd use him again...and again!

We Hired Pittsford homes to do a remodel in our basement. To make this short we ended up in court suing Pittsford Homes for the use of inferior materials and poor workmanship. Also working without a permit. We WON the case hands down. He lost the counter suit! Yet he still refuses to refund our money. I would not let Pittsford Homes build me a dog house!

The town code inspector shut down his work after we requested him to come and take a look at it. When he arrived he took pictures and informed us that there was NEVER a permit obtained for Mr.Dunn of Pittsford Homes INC to be working in our home and that more than half of the work he had already done (without a permit) would have to be torn out and redone properly!

We started a kitchen remodel two years ago.  Long story short, the initial contractor did an awful job and I was turned down by two new contractors because they didn't want to deal with all of the leftover mess (things not done to code, not done correctly, inspector issues and so on).  But, from the moment I met Dave I was impressed with how he handled the situation.  Things started to go as planned and we hit another bump in the road.  This time, it was us and we needed to pay cash for a big chunk of the job so we needed time to save money in between each step.  Dave was very understanding and gave us the time we needed and we proceeded step by step over the next year or so.  We are now finally finishing the job and I am very happy with our service.  Phil, the designer on our job, has been a life saver.  He has helped me with everything and has even provided moral support when I needed it.  He knew when to help me see his point and when to see mine.  He has been a blessing.  In addition, the project manager, Ric, has been amazing.  Not only does he do quality work, but he has been excited for us knowing what we have gone through.  His work is excellent and he is clean and careful and extremely thoughtful while in our home.  He has been an absolute delight to work with.  I respect these men very much.  There have been a few workers I have not been happy with (on some other small jobs that arose over the last year or so), but most things were handled and worked out.

    Rochester Bath & Kitchen Remodeling
The service was wonderful from start to finish.  From my first phone call the service was excellent.  The salesperson came to my home and showed my samples, measured and gave me pricing.  My husband and I then went to the showroom in East Rochester to look at all of the options and make the final selections.  He was great to work with.  The schedule was adhered to and everyone was on time for all appointments.  All of the guys who did the work were awesome!!  They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, all the things you want!!!  My home was cleaner when they left than before they began the work!!!  We were doing a replacement to a "tub to shower" conversion done by another company 8 years ago.  The original work was not done well and we were having issues with the shower insert and flooring.
My son is in a wheelchair and uses a roll in shower chair.  The salesperson and the workers had great suggestions on where things should be placed for my son.  They were all respectful to his situation and asked for his input with the placement of bars and the shower attachments.  I would recommend Rochester Bath to everyone!!!  I would especially recommend them for any ADA work that someone might need.  From start to finish, this was a great company to work with!!!!  If I ever have another bathroom project I will 100% call Rochester Bath and Kitchen Remodeling!!!!!

    William Mcmahon General Contractor
Bill gave a clear, detailed estimate for the work and was very professional.  He was punctual and responsive to questions and change orders.  He had competent helpers who were also careful and trustworthy.  His work was that of a fine craftsman and he was a pleasure to work with.  We had past experiences with hiring cheaper contractors but got what we paid for so we gladly paid Bill's prices for quality work.

    McKenna's Kitchen & Baths
I stopped in to get some information regarding a kitchen sink and also start the kitchen remodeling quote process. I already have 2 other quotes and wanted to get a 3rd quote from McKenna's.   The first person I approached to get some help seemed COMPLETELY uninterested.  I told her what type of sink I was looking for and she pointed me to a totally different kind of material sink.  I said to her that this is not what I'm asking about and showed her a picture of it on my phone.  She said she'd never seen anything like that before (it's a granite farm kitchen sink) and then told me to look up the manufacturers who sell it and she'd see what she can do!  Are you kidding me?!?  I decided to leave the store  but before I left I asked to speak to the owner.  He didn't speak to me either.    I guess McKenna's judges people on what they stand to sell or profit from people who come in seeking consulting or their professional help.  Needless to say I would never use them for this kind of a project!
