  I contacted Michael Grimm Services when it became clear that the two large poplars that were encroaching on my roof were likely to cause damage. I had called another company several weeks prior, but that company had failed to provide an estimate within a two-week period and eventually, after being contacted again, had stated that they were not equipped to do the job. My experience with Michael Grimm was completely different beginning with my initial phone conversation with the receptionist. An estimate, as promised during that call, was sent to my email address two days later. Once I agreed to the contract, a representative from the company was in constant contact with me regarding every step of the process: providing a probable time frame during which I could expect the work to be done, determining the actual date that the trees would be removed, inquiring as to whether I had any questions or concerns regarding the completed work. I was home the day the service was provided and was impressed with the diligence and professionalism displayed by everyone involved with the job. I unequivocally recommend Michael Grimm Services.

  Donnie was super to work with. Reasonable and reliable. Work was completed on time and budget. Because we couldn���t get to the house to see the completed work, Donnie even sent photos showing how great everything came out. Would absolutely recommend and will use again.

  Treelanders Tree Service LLC

  The tree was removed but a large area  around the tree  was dug up and mounds of dirt and debris was left behind. Finally after trying over a period of time trying to grow grass I had to hire a landscaper. When he came to give me an estimate he pointed out that the stump was not  fully ground and no  explanation of why the destruction. By the way they were to leave the wood chips ..there were no wood cips. I should have realized then there was no stump ground. I'm in my 80s and not into tree removal.

  Excellent crew, very attentive. We had him just trim some trees and he operated the big piece of machinery. His guys that he had around were asking if there's anything else they can end up doing or any other branches that we had while the whole thing was going down. It was very good.

  Gasparini Landscaping

  This was easily one of our BEST experiences with a contractor ever. Over the past five years, we have done numerous renovations on our home, and Gasparini's stands at the top of our list for satisfaction. Their work was beautiful, and they were always punctual and professional. For example, they took care to cover our lawn with mats so as not to tear it up while bringing their equipment out back. In addition, the following spring, when a few of the grasses didn't come back, they returned and replaced these...no questions asked. We have, and will contnue to, recommend this company to others.

  Overall the removal of the tree was fine but in grinding the stump, they removed a large portion of my lawn so that I now have to get professional seeding. They also never called prior to coming which was requested.

  Bartlett Tree Experts - 121511

  It took a while to get them here because they were busy with a storm clean up.  They are very good at what they do. The trees were pruned and the head size reduced to help prevent damage from high winds and storms. Cleaned up everything they took down. They removed all the wood slabs and ground up everything else.  They returned a couple of weeks later to do the stump removal. Although the price was more than I expected to pay for this kind of work ...... the job the job was very well done.

  Bartlett Tree Experts - 121511

  I was told that the bug problem would go away in a matter of days and the trees would be fine.  But....... I had a bigger problem with my trees root system.  A problem that could not be seen from above ground.  I was then shown, by their professional,  many pictures of trees with this problem and how it needed to fix this or my trees would die or fall down during strong wind storms.  Naturally I was worried about my ten beautiful 12 year old maple trees and thought I must have this done.  They then set up a two week window in the future and I waited over a month for them to arrive.  During this time the bugs did go away but the tree looks bad and I am not sure if it will make it another year.  I do believe the tree should have been sprayed at that time before the damage continued.  When Bartlett's finally arrived for the root problem, the entire process only took an hour or so and that's when I learned from the worker that I only had one tree that needed some attention but all in all the trees were fine.  What!  I just spent all this money and the trees were really just fine.  I did call Bartlett's and they sent someone out to explain what was done.  They were sorry if the pictures they had me look at were misleading.  Misleading, that was an understatement.  Now I have large  deep holes around all my trees roots all exposed extending at least 20 inches from the trunk. Who has this in their lawns with any of their trees?  I felt that I had been taken advantage with the pictures and story about what I needed to be done to save my trees.  I spent a lot of money for only one tree that had just one root that they removed.  They did snip a couple very tiny roots, but I'll be dead and gone before any roots would cause any problems.  I thought I was using a local tree expert company, but later found out that Bartlett's is a worldwide business.  I will never hire them for anything again and I would not recommend their services unless you want to spend lots of money for nothing.

  WALKER TREE CARE & REMOVAL

  Jennifer, the owner, contacted me quickly in response to my voice mail message and met with me within a few days at a convenient time (after business hours) to review the work I wanted done. Jennifer, a certified arborist, listened attentively, quickly understood my objectives, and then provided excellent, specific recommendations for improving the appearance and health of the landscape and reducing shade in selected areas of the property. She was very thorough in her assessment and spent nearly an hour touring the property, talking with me, making notes and suggestions and revisitng several areas to make sure we mutually understood what work was required. Before she left, Jennifer provided a firm price quote, which was appropriate for the scope of work, and I accepted her bid the next morning.
  A long stretch of rainy weather delayed the work to a period when I would be out of town, so Jennifer offered to honor a firm date about three weeks later, and I happily agreed. Jennifer phoned me the day before to confirm the job and arrived as planned with the necessary equipment and a crew of four. She provided detailed, accurate instructions to her foreman and crew, supervised the initial phases of the work and did some pruning work for about two hours before leaving her capable foreman in charge at the site. The crew were courteous and professional in demeanor, communicative with me and were happy to do any special requests I asked for. Except for a brief lunch break, they worked non-stop from 9 AM to 3 PM and completed an amazing amount of work. A good portion of the job was inaccessable by cherry picker and required pole saws, and beyond their reach, a climber with a chain saw (who was awesome to watch!). Their clean-up was very thorough and they left me with enough 16" cuts of firewood to last serveral winters.
  In summary, Jennifer and her crew did everything I wanted done, exactly as I wanted it, with professional skills and pride at a price that was neither cheap nor outrageous, but was an excellent value and a home landscaping investment. I will use Walker Tree Care, Inc. for any future work I need, and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, particularly to those who can appreciate the added value that a licensed professional and well-trained and skilled crew bring to any tree care or landscaping project.
