    Atlas Fence
Everyone with whom I interacted at Atlas was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and our stunning new fence truly enhances the appearance of our home. So happy with our decision to work with Atlas.

Initially it went well. Mark was responsive and very friendly. His price was right on point and the instillation was on time. However, a few issues have come up with the gate. The posts look as if sunk and the door is constantly tightening up. Mark came over once and loosened the hinge (something we had done once already) which was a short term fix. Plus the gap between the gate hinges and the adjoining fence were seriously uneven. 1 inch apart at the top and about 3 inches at the bottom of the hinge. Another time he came over and said the fence was not correctly attached to the house. He said he repaired that, but we didn't see any difference except a long screw from the house to the fence. Another few calls and some repairmen came out to look and agreed there was an issue with the posts. Before they started digging out the posts we asked if they could add a section so we could hide an AC unit that was unsightly. SURE! no problem. They contacted Mark, gave us an estimate and said they would be back in a few weeks to repair. Mark came out to look and said he was going to write up an estimate (which I assumed wold match the one given to us earlier) and send it to us that evening. It has been more than 3 weeks, no show and we have called at least 5 times and emailed once. We did recommend him to a neighbor and he completed that work, but I will not recommend him for anyone else.

    Butler Fence Co Inc
The process of getting Fence installed in this city is ridiculous.  Fence buyers beware. If you want something installed for next summer?  Buy it NOW for next summer.

We went to the Butler fence store the first week of April to see about cost and the  time frame to add fencing within our already fenced yard for a dog run. The muddy spring and the two new puppies made this addition to the yard an absolute necessity.  We told them we needed it ASAP and how soon could they do it. Cost was secondary to the time frame. He said they would have to put the install date at 8 weeks (standard for aluminum fencing) .... but he would do everything in his power to get the materials here sooner for us . Installation would only take a day.  That put the install date at June 5, 2013, unless he could work his magic and get it for us sooner.
He came out and measured, we agreed to the contract and gave him a 1500 dollar deposit. They came out the next week and put in a temporary fence.. I should add that I asked the salesmen to let us know of any delays or changes in the timeframe.

We NEVER got another call from this company until AUGUST 23. Secretary called and said they were ready to set up a day for the  install. Asked why she hadn't called me in June when it was SUPPOSED to be installed and she had no response.  I told her I thought this was a scam and they had left town with my money. Seriously... even catalog companies have to let you know if the product won't be available in the next 30 days.  She said there must have been a delay in getting the material.  A call to the company said that was not the case.  It was 11 WEEKS................11 WEEKS past the 8 weeks they originally told us it would take to do this project.   Our ASAP project to deal with a muddy yard for the dogs turned into a 5 month project bypassing Spring and almost the entire summer. Our vacation was planned for the last week in Aug because of this project so installation needed to be  scheduled for 9/16/13.
We left the fence gate unlocked for their arrival the morning of the 16th. I  will say the two workers doing the install did their job well and worked all day although  it was later discovered that all the dirt and junk they pulled out of the holes they dug for the posts was thrown on top of my husbands compost pile at the back of our yard. He was not happy. A knock on the door and a question as to where they could dispose of the dirt and debris would have answered their question. They didn't attach the gate for some reason, so they left without completing the job.. They  also left without telling us when they would return. We assumed they would be back the next day so again we left the fence unlocked for them. They never showed the next day or the day after that.  We finally locked up the fence for the protection of our 2 pups  and figured they would call and let us know what was happening and the resin for the delay in finishing.  The reason we even have a fence that locks is because for our dogs protection.  We waited for them to call to let us know when they would finish.  They never called. Friday the 20th around 4:30 PM I heard one of my dogs barking from the other end of the house.  The Butler Fence truck was in the driveway and they were OPENING MY FENCE WITH SOME MASTER KEY !!!!   This is trespassing!!!  They didn't even come to the door and ring the bell to see if anyone was home or to ask someone to open the gate for them.  I want to add that the main fence we have was NOT INSTALLED by them . I was tempted to call the POLICE...... probably should have. They did not have permission to come thru a locked gate on to my property .

Had my dogs been out ....one could have gotten out of the yard.  They finished up and left using their MASTER key to lock up. I hope the police are aware that these people have master keys to gain access to peoples property. Though it as safe to leave my screen door to the patio unlocked in the afternoons as a "locked" 6 foot fence  prohibited access to my yard .  I'm rethinking that one.
I sent them the check for the balance due the following week and they are now sending me notices that maybe I overlooked the balance due.  Arrghhhhh !!!

Read my report for Atlas Fence, the company that installed our main fence last year. There was a reason we didn't return to them for this project. Seems that once these companies have your sizable downpayment...... you are at their mercy. They can show up to do the contracted project almost 3 months after the scheduled 8 week wait but INSIST I pay my balance IMMEDIATLEY upon completion or face interest changes for my "delay."  There are no consequences for their treatment of their clientele because ......how often are you going to have a fence installed.  They don't care about their customers. They will say and promise anything until they have your check.   Their contract only protects them.   I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.

I want to thank Angie's list for this service. I have found the best plumber and housepainter thru this service.  Most companies that give you references only give you the names of people  they know will give them a positive review.  Angie's allows the people that these companies rather you never heard from ...have a say.  :)

The work they performed was fine. The lack of communication and making us wait over 5+ months is the reason I gave them a D rating.

The estimate was fine, but I did not follow up on the work because it was super high. They were really polite. It was not their fault; the HOA required a whole bunch of stuff, that just drove the price higher and higher. I would not use them again.

    DiMartino Construction & Remodeling
We first reviewed the area and size requirements and John gave me his idea what would look the best in matching the house. The deck size was approx. 23 ft. by 9 ft. We agreed on pressure treated wood and the deck was completed in 2 days. John said before starting the job, he goes the extra mile to provide a very solid structure. The completed deck is a testament to the quality work that John provides! It is a heavy duty structural deck that will provide me with years and years of enjoyment. I highly recommend John and his company and will use him for any future work.

    Atlas Fence
We had Atlas come out to give us a quote for black vinyl chain link fencing around our back yard.  They came out very soon after our request and a very knowledgable employee with sales and installation experience was able to answer all of my questions and provide excellent information about what they would do, how they would do it, and the best products for our purpose.  I was struck by how patient and attentive the salesperson was.  There is no better way to say it than to say they blew the competition out of the water, in terms of professionalism, price and knowledge.  I had three other local fencing companies come out to give me estimates and some couldn't even answer my questions about materials or installation practices--and their prices were the same or higher.  There was a longer wait time for the Atlas installation, but I was willing to wait for the superior quality and service.  They installed the fencing around the perimeter of our property, after staking out carefully with our survey.  With a very wooded backyard, slopes and dips and two gates, the fence installation was outstanding.  It fades into the landscape and we have not had any problems.  Their follow up to ask about our satisfaction was excellent, as well.  Atlas' customer service is beyond compare.

    Atlas Fence
I found Atlas Fence to be a terrific company to work with. I looked at (3) fence companies and could not be happier with the decision I made. Atlas was not only punctual but professional and you can easily tell that every member of the Atlas team takes pride in what they do. Of the (3) companies I sat down with, only Atlas spent a great deal of time with me to provide a few of their own layout ideas, the others simply quoted my original layout which I designed myself.
Thomas Collins is a terrific salesperson. Thomas took time to understand what I was trying to accomplish and when it came time to put a temporary fence in, drove out the same day and installed it himself (at the time it was 95 degrees and the ground was rock hard so installation was no easy feat). He even brought a few sample pieces of fence to leave with me so I could see which color/style best matched my concrete and pavers around my pool. ! also received several calls from Thomas upon installation to ensure things were being installed smoothly and properly.
The installation team headed up by Brian and Scottie were fantastic.
The end result was a perfect fence set up! I would highly recommend Atlas and am gladly a client who will not hesitate to provide a referral on their behalf.

They did a great, awesome job. They got here one day, and the next day it was up. The guy came in, he pulled out the survey, shot the lines, he laid out the lines properly and he was right on. They were great, and they didn't fool around, they had about eight hours over two days, and they got it done. They were quick, it has held up well, it's still in great shape, and I would highly recommend them.
