    Ahold of Mold Environmental
The owner of the company was extremely professional. His interaction with me is what sold me. He was very accommodating! Two guys came to the home, the put plastic down, taped off the room, and the process was done. You wouldn't even know thy were here!

His guys got stuck in traffic, they're based about an hour from my house, and they got stuck in construction traffic for an hour. They were scheduled to come at 7am, but didn't arrive until 9am. The owner called, explained what happened, and he took  $100 dollars off my bill for the inconvenience.

They were absolutely amazing! From a the owner to workers, everyone was incredible.

    Ahold of Mold Environmental
Everyone from Ahold of Mold was wonderful. Britt the owner was on time and worked with my insurance company to make sure that everything necessary was done. He took his time and was very patient explaining everything to me. Hobie the office manager was extremely quick to get my paperwork filled out for insurance/check endorsement issues. The work was done well and passed clean air test. The guys were very neat and left no mess when they were finished. I highly recommend them.

Ethical Aspects LLC Mold Removal Services
It went great.  They finished the whole job in 3 days and did  a great job.  They removed alot of disgusting debris and cleaned up after themselves really well.  Mr. Clemons associate, Eldar, was especially helpful and did a ton of really tough work.  I was really impressed.  I had wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday and they did a fantastic job in a very timely manner.  They also didn't try to sell me solutions that I didn't need, and it was great.  I would recommend them to anyone.

There was concern by the tenant that there was extensive, harmful mold on the premises.  Comprehensive mold fit a screening into their schedule to make it happen next day.  Luckily, there was no major issue and need for remediation.  But comprehensive mold was extremely responsive and professional.

    Accu-View Property Inspections Inc
Because of the competitive nature of the Buffalo market, Rick was quick to take my call and schedule a time to do work. He happily scheduled me in only a few days after my offer was accepted (I also called him before my offer was accepted on a different house, and he was willing to see me the day after the offer went through).
Rick was thorough. I was reluctant to hire an inspector referred to me by a realtor, but friends of mine spoke highly of Rick. My fear was that he would do a basic inspection and give me obvious advice. Turns out I had nothing to fear.
Rick spent about an hour in the basement checking walls, gas lines, water lines, the electrical service, and the sewage. He inspected most of the power outlets, and tagged in his report anything that needed attention. He checked the water pressure, and gave me suggestions on how to fix everything.
On the outside of the house, he checked the electrical service, health of the roof, the garage, and even noted some odd things that he suggested I get looked at when I take possession because it could give me a headache (wide spacing in garage roof rafters).
He inspected the grounds thoroughly. Brought binoculars to get a great view of every inch of the house.
On the first and second floors, he made notes of issues with windows (damaged seals, cracks), and evaluated with me on whether they should be replaced or not. He gave perspective on everything.
He is clean too. Gloves and foot coverings during the entire inspection.
Rick had answers for everything. There was one odd plumbing setup that was difficult to explain. Rick didn't know why the owners did it, but he was able to let me know how to fix it quickly. He also advised me that my hot water tank was old, and that I should buy one now because the regulations have changed, making new ones much more expensive.
Great guy. Super friendly. Operated quickly. Didn't charge me a dime over what he provided. Additionally, he had his full 45 page report to me the next day (which was a Sunday!).

I was very disappointed in this company. I had discovered some mold growing underneath a few areas of plaster in our kitchen. I was concerned, (obviously), because it's mold, and also I wasn't sure what the source of the mold was (i.e. a possible active water leak, an old leak, etc.) I called and scheduled someone to come out and take a look. I was told that they had a thermal imaging system that would be able to identify the source of any moisture and also determine the extent of the mold without having to rip open my walls.

Fast forward, the "mold specialist" showed up. He looked around very briefly and barely explained anything to me. He was holding a moisture meter up to random places on the walls all around the kitchen, moving around so quickly and not saying anything, so I didn't have any idea what was the problem or what was going on. I felt very rushed and overwhelmed.

He told me the area with the mold, along with the rest of the kitchen, was showing as "saturated" and that he "didn't even know the extent of the mold problem" (I thought they had a tool for that????) and we're going to have to open up the walls to determine the extent, but it "won't be pretty." He then advised me that our bathroom upstairs was probably leaking and I should get it fixed, he'll "send me some numbers", and promptly left. He didn't even use the thermal imaging system! I also never heard from him again! I told him I had to talk to my fiance before I made any decisions, but I would have liked to know what he suggested.

Now I know why he never got back to me... The next day, my friend's husband who does plumbing work came over, opened up some of the walls in my kitchen, (as per the suggestion of the "mold specialist."). I'd like to point out the following was discovered once we opened up the walls:

    1. The areas which the "mold specialist" told me were "saturated" were bone dry inside. Entire pieces of wall were cut out, and the wall pieces were not the least bit wet, damp, nothing!
    2. The "saturated" areas had no mold inside, nor were there any signs of moisture.
    3. No ants were found, nor did we find an ant's nest, which is contradictory to the claim from the "mold specialist" that the carpenter ants must have been around for a long time due to ongoing water damage. We also found no "soft wood" in which a carpenter ant colony could nest.
    4. I specifically asked the "mold specialist" if the mold we had was just surface mold, and he told me absolutely not, the mold problem would be permeated all throughout the walls. Upon looking inside of the entire area, his statement could not have been further from the truth. NO mold inside, no mildew, NO signs of water.

Upon further inspection, it was we noticed that a pipe in the wall had been repaired, so we are assuming the surface mold was just residual from previous moisture, as it was evident that there was no longer any sort of moisture in the area.

I have FOUR enormous holes in my kitchen walls which I have to pay someone to repair because the "mold specialist" told me I had a drenched and mold-filled kitchen! I am furious! Not only did this "mold specialist" get me all in a panic for no reason, but it seems as though when he realized there wasn't much a problem, instead of doing the honest thing and telling me not to worry about it, he convinced me my kitchen was basically falling apart, and then never got back to me or used the proper equipment to evaluate the situation. I am a young female home owner, and i feel completely taken advantage of. I have no mold problems, but now i have a torn apart kitchen problem!!!

The only reason they got an A for responsiveness and punctuality is because the "mold specialist" was on time, and the secretary who scheduled the appointment was very nice, informative, and answered many of my questions.

    Kleen Scene
I am in the process of rehabbing an 1880 Buffalo West-Side double that was abandon for over a year. The previous owner was foreclosed upon and walked away from the property leaving it in shambles. The basement was left with trash all over
collecting mildew and blocking drainage. There was white mold covering nearly every square inch of joists. It was
disgusting and smelled like a damp mess.
I came across kleenscene on Angies list when I was
searching for contractors as part of an FHA203k Rehab Loan. Matt,
Austin and the rest of his crew came in and were in and out inside of a day. They arrived when they said they
would and did exactly what they said they would. These guys are totally PRO. Working with the FHA and a bank meant a lot
of paper work and Matt was very accommodating.
I already recommended them to a friend and highly recommend them to all
of Angies list in the buffalo area that need mold remediation or other services.

    Everything went well.

I contacted them for an estimate, Mark came on site looked at the work, gave me a 'rough' number and I had a written estimate with a work plan in my email the next day.

I had to wait to have them perform the work, due to other parties involved in the sale of my home. 2 weeks after the estimate I contacted them to schedule the work, they were back on site within 3 days of my call and completed all the work.

They moved items in my basement as they worked, keeping me from having to clear everything out.

2 days after the work, they were back for post cleanup testing, inspected the sealer they installed and took samples for testing. All samples came back good.

They took care of everything for me, and tried to minimize my expense for me. He did work for me in a different work than what you would expect. They showed up at my house and told me how to do the work free. He is totally and "A", and are unique. They also do a lot of work for the US Navy, and do excellent work.
