That's always gone well. The last time, I put them there for about five days / nights. I have two cats and they had multiple services done. I would give them an A on everything. They were good. They gave me an appointment, expected me, and took good care of the cats. I think they're competitive and fairly reasonable compared to what other boarding places charge. They weren't exceptionally high or ...

The Drs. and staff went above and beyond to make our Sarge well. But sometimes only so much can be done.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Our Golden retriever was diagnosed with possible cancer of the spleen. A sonogram showed that his other organs seemed fine, and that there was a chance that removing his spleen would remove any cancer, if present. He was only 9 yrs. old, and our baby. We took the chance that perhaps it wouldn't be cancer, and that with medication he could survive without his spleen. We had the surgery done, he remained at the hospital for a couple of days on intravenous medications and constant monitoring of his blood levels. Dr. Reynders was fabulous running back to the hospital during the night to check in on him. She called me with updates. He acted fine when he was discharged, but there was difficulty in adjusting the prednisone dosage appropriate for him. Dr. Reynders and her staff did everything possible to get his levels right. The biopsy showed that the spleen contained cancer, but hopefully it didn't have a chance to spread. Despite all of the efforts of Dr. Reynders and Dr. Souza who spent over 3 hours working together to remove the spleen without rupturing it, our Sarge developed small bleeds in his brain from the prednisone. We had to let him go on Sept. 13, 2012. The compassion of the staff was greatly appreciated. A floral arrangement and sympathy card even arrived. If you want more than a vet, you will be treated like Family at McClelland's.

I love McClelland Small Animal Hospital. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Dr. Souza is an amazing vet with a great bedside manner. I have been going to them for the last 4 years. I have never had a bad experience with them. The prices are about midrange - not too expensive but not super cheap either. They are very thorough with their exams but they will always give you an estimate of the ...

The vets and technicians at McClelland are the best I have encountered in Buffalo. Wait times are minimal - sometimes even non-existant. Yet when my dog is in the examining room, they are very thorough and take as much time as necessary explaining the procedures and helping me with his overall healthcare and maintenance. I recommend them highly!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
