While the technician was there he noticed some spots on my chimney that needed repair and quoted me on the spot. The workmen who came out were wonderful, polite and very informative. AD.M.R MasonryDan and his team were excellent! They re-pointed our chimney and replaced the damaged bricks. Dan even filled a 2-inch step crack on the side of my house with mortar for no extra charge, and that was with it being added on after already giving me my original quote, very kind! Dan and his team also thoroughly cleaned the work area when finished, which is very important, as I've had contractors in the past leave a giant mess! From the office staff answering all my questions and keeping me informed to the masons who worked at my home the entire experience was wonderful. Fireplace cleaning, inspection, new flue liners (in both furnace and fireplace), crown and tuck point, etc.. The workers were respectful of my home, did an excellent job, cleaned up and paid attention to all the small details that you want when you hire a contractor. They spent days in and out of my home which can be nerve wracking but they made it comfortable by being professional and courteous. Thanks to JP, Patrick, Alex, Kyle, Sal and Lisa for all you did. ALeo M Cudney Construction & DesignIn the spring of 2019, I had a roof leak with water coming into my master bedroom from a large wind storm. I immediately contacted Leo Cudney to come over for a quote. When he came over he was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. This was a very large job for me to undertake, and at times I have heard stories of contractors scamming people, however within minutes of Leo being at my house I could tell he was honest, sincere and I felt comfortable with him. I went up on to my roof with him and viewed the damaged/missing shingles, chimney damage, gutter damage and some areas where the siding needed to be repaired. I thought that was really nice of him to take me up there with him, spend the time pointing out the areas of concern and explain everything to me. Furthermore Leo assisted me with working through my homeowners claim and within a matter of days he came over to tarp off the roof. Shortly after that, Leo had his crew come over to complete a tear off, full replacement of the roof and gutters. I was able to spend some time with the Crew Chief (Tony) and meet all the workers. I found all of them to be respectful of my property, they were polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a mess at the end of any work days, (no garbage, cigarette butts, food wrappers, old felt, shingles or any nails.) This was impressive. They took great care to keep my property clean. The job in my opinion seemed to be a large one, however it was completed within 2 days. Several times throughout the duration of the job, I spoke with Tony and Leo and all questions I had were addressed. I appreciate the time Leo took with me, as I assume dealing with homeowners throughout a job can be difficult and disruptive at times. Leo and Tony made me feel that they appreciated and respected me. I could not have been any happier with how the job in its entirety came out. If I ever moved, i would absolutely hire Leo again to do my next roof and would without a doubt recommend him to anyone who needed him.- Michael L.

FHe quoted me 500$ before ever having seen the fireplace or knowing what was wrong with it. Then we made an appointment and he never showed up or called to cancel. Would not recommend and is based an hour outside of Rochester anyway.

AThe owner stopped out to provide me a quote for the work to be done, he was very knowledgable and professional. While looking at the retaining wall and stairs, he did notice that my foundation wall was starting to buckle in. The crew that he had assigned to the job were very polite and professional. They answered all my questions while they were working. The crew did a good job cleaning up after the work was completed and walked me through on what they did. I am very happy with the work that was done. I would use this company for future projects.

AThey were wonderful to work with. One of their workers got sick and they had to reschedule (they were very nice about this and I was glad they were treating their workers well and letting them take time off!). They rescheduled very quickly with someone else to come out. He called beforehand to make sure the time still worked well and to let me know when he would be there. He was prompt, professional, and friendly. He answered all of my questions and explained what he had seen. I will be hiring them again and highly recommend them

Awe had 10+ double hung windows, a new slider & a new door installed. we selected our Sunrise windows & immediately noticed the difference in our comfort level this past winter; even in the summer with no A/C, the house stays a lot cooler than before. I was a little nervous since this was going to cost a good amount, so I researched forever (it seemed), interviewed a few folks re: costs, & decided on Ivy Lea. I wanted peace of mind in case of any issues, now & down the line. I wanted quality windows & professional install. the entire process of working with Russ, choosing products & securing financing was easy. the installers were prompt, skilled & personable. we were so happy with the window process that we're back again this year working with Russ on a much bigger project!

CThe online reviews and the sales pitch were outstanding. When it came to actually doing the work, the biggest failure was the lack of communication between the design department and the project manager and the onsite carpenter. I ended up paying a lot of money and not being satisfied with the end product. The project manager blew me off and minimized my concerns and then claimed he didn't. My husband is still replacing (2 months later) baseboard and door and window casing that they were going to charge us $90/hour to refit and replace. They also installed a washer and dryer and didn't take out the shipping struts. Luckily my husband guessed that they didn't do it, so our expensive washer was not ruined. I have to pay to have the shower floor replaced, but I can't afford to do it at the moment. They claim it's the materials I chose, but I think it's the way it was installed. I dread getting into my shower now... I reached out to them to detail my experience and they said they were sorry, but didn't take any responsibility, and they didn't offer to fix it. Oh well.
