    5th Ave Millennium Aesthetic Surgery
Simply put, Dr. Vickery is absolute tops in terms of possessing the full complement of traits one hopes to find in a surgeon. She is exceedingly knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate - a rare combination of traits to find in a surgeon. In connection with our methodical journey to find a plastic surgeon of the highest caliber with whom to work following my bilateral mastectomy, my husband and I knew from the start that we would be in the very best hands with Dr. Vickery. Her thorough manner, intellect, deep concern for her patients and - significantly - complete investment in achieving the most optimum outcome possible contribute to Dr. Vickery's well earned place as a first-rate surgeon and person operating at the top of her field. She is also a warm and steady advocate for women dealing with the range of items connected with any decision to undergo any form of plastic surgery. The outcome of my breast reconstruction - natural, comfortable and aesthetically beautiful to both my husband and me - is an incredible testament to Dr. Vickery's wide range of talents, depth of experience and artful work. My husband and I both feel it has been an utmost privilege to have had the enormous and life-changing benefits of Dr. Vickery's guidance and will be forever appreciative to her as well as her excellent staff for the smooth process leading to - as well as the wonderful outcome of - my reconstruction. We recommend Dr. Vickery with the highest levels of genuine enthusiasm and heartfelt support.

    Nicole Nemeth MD
Dr. Nemeth and her staff are the best. Her staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. She examined me after the surgery to check on the healing process. She does meticulous work. You can't even see the scars. She was very reassuring through the whole process of my illness. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

    Bryan Forley MD
Dr Forley first saw me for a consult where he explained the entire procedure to me.He took the time to answer any questions I had.He went out of his way to show me how much he cares.I then booked the procedure appointment feeling very confident that I had chosen the best doctor.      When I returned for the procedure appointment, everyone on his staff treated me so kindly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable.Dr Forley was incredibly caring and gentle during the procedure. He kept asking me if everything was ok and that my skin was still numb.He was so gentle that I never even needed to be asleep for the procedure.        The final results of my mole removal was beautiful.I healed quickly and painlessly.Where Dr Forley removed the mole is   invisible.I would recommend Dr Forley to anyone. He is not only an incredibly talented doctor, but he is also a very caring person.

    Rose, Dr. Elliott H.
I had a facelift and eyelid surgery with Dr. Elliott Rose.  I am more than completely satisfield.  The surgery was excellent and everyone tells me how refreshed and glowing I look.  His staff were compassionate and discreet.  He does the surgery in his own operating room and I felt as if I were being taken care of in the most professional way.  I would definitely recommend him for anyone who is interested in natural looking cosmetic surgery in New York City.

    Goldberg, Dr. Neal
Dr. Neal D. Goldberg is an exceptional doctor and an exceptional person.  You like him from the first moment. From the second moment you realize that you also trust him.   That's almost enough. Also though,  Dr. Goldberg is a very smart guy who has obviously gone out of his way to keep learning more in his fields.  He knows what is wrong, why, and how to fix it.  He is sure-handed and does even the most intricate work with seeming effortlessness.  I found it especially fascinating to see his perfectionism at work.  For instance, he?s unwilling to leave scar tissue behind.  For this reason, in my case, he excised the ruptured cyst in an indirect way that was more complicated and exacting than a direct approach.  While he was in the area, he took out different kinds of tissue to test for more serious problems.  He followed through.  His short check-up appointments were more frequent and continued for more weeks than I expected.   Remarkably, Dr. Goldberg also has an uncanny ability to understand his patients well with few cues.  He knows what we need and want, and what makes us uncomfortable almost sooner than we do.  Is he a mind reader? Over the course of the summer I saw men, women and children come through his office with a wide variety of issues.  In some cases something had gone wrong and required repair.  There were burns, breaks, and cuts.  Other people came so that Dr. Goldberg could help them look more attractive in some way - more rested, younger, more glamorous, or more professional and on top of their games.  Each of those patients looked as if he or she felt the same warm gratitude, affection, and admiration toward Dr. Goldberg that I feel.

    Ashinoff, Dr. Russell
My husband nearly severed his left hand past his knuckles. Dr. Ashinoff has wonderful technical skills and did a great job on my husband's hand.  My husband has full function after the two surgeries the Dr. performed. His follow up was excellent. The office and billing department was also a pleasure to deal with and I never encountered an issue.

    Harris, Dr. Stephen U.
**Please note that my experience is not typical. My own reconstruction has not been a straight path. When I did research prior to my surgery, I read the statistics, so while I knew that the situations I have encountered were possible, I didn't expect them to happen to me. Dr Harris worked in conjunction with my oncological surgeon to provide immediate breast reconstruction at the time of my bilateral mastectomy. As I am on the slim side, I chose to go direct to implants. The shapes of the reconstructed breasts were beautiful. Unfortunately, I ran into problems with healing and after two months one of the implant had to be removed. Four months later, Dr Harris inserted a tissue expander on that side. Again, I ran into problems, this time with an infection. The tissue expander was removed a month later. When we discussed what I might do next, Dr Harris explained to me that my options after these two experiences were now more limited. He believed that the best result could be achieved by doing a latissimus dorsi flap procedure, which would utilize skin and muscle from my back. I did not want to go this route, so I sought out a second opinion, going to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. The plastic surgeon there was of the same opinion, and in what he called an effort and quot; to manage expectations, and quot; showed me before and after pictures of women who had undergone this same surgery. I was not happy with the pictures and not happy with my limited options, so I took a year off, using a prosthesis on the one side. I decided that since I was hot and uncomfortable with the prosthesis, I might as well go ahead with trying to have two reconstructed breasts instead of just one. So, a year and a half after the very first surgery, I had Dr Harris do the latissimus dorsi flap procedure with a tissue expander. (The psychological lift was immediate!) After five months, I had the tissue expander exchanged for an implant, and Dr Harris also replaced the other side to achieve the best symmetry. The results were very good, and far better than the pictures I saw at Memorial Sloan Kettering. However, within two months, I was experiencing a great degree of discomfort on this newly reconstructed side. I felt like I was chafing from the inside out, and in addition to that, my back muscle was clenching up in the front every time I coughed or sneezed. Again, I checked the internet. For many women, the nerves atrophy and this goes away, but that was not my experience. I underwent one last surgery to resupport and line the area where the new implant was, and Dr Harris severed the nerve that was responsible for the back muscle's continuing behaviour as a back muscle in the front. The results are really good!! My quality of life was immediately improved.I have learned from talking to other women, and family members that reconstruction is often not a one-step process, and results can be as varied as the individuals. I'm glad that I persisted in trying to get reconstructed breasts. I have found that I feel much more confident with having them, than not. I'm also glad that I stayed with Dr Harris. Throughout this whole long process, Dr Harris has been willing to address all my concerns and questions, patiently and thoroughly. He has always presented information on the possible outcomes. When I was very unhappy with my limited reconstruction options, he even suggested that I might want to get a second opinion. (I had already scheduled one, but was happy to hear that he was confident and generous enough to understand that this could be a real help.) I am very pleased with the shape and symmetry of my reconstucted breasts. I have looked at online pictures, and I think my results are much better than most of what I've seen, especially those that have had flap procedures. Dr Harris' office staff is courteous and professional, and appointments are scheduled so that there is rarely much of a wait.

    Leinhardt, Dr. Richard
I first went for skin resurfacing and electric stimulation several months ago. I was thrilled with the results of the treatment, which is called Baby Face. It really did make my skin softer and smoother. These are treatments that are not a one-time procedure. Your skin looks better if you have several treatments, which I did - and will continue to have.
