    Hi, I had the luck and also the pleasure of being invited to an event where the food was prepared by L&S Catering. I have to say that it was a long time since I have tasted something so delicious and tasteful.So real!So Yummy! I have been told that Laura and Sal are originally from Italy and that they owned a restaurant for many years in Brooklyn and that was when I understood why everything had such an “authentic” taste. Nothing was too much and nothing need it anything add.Perfection must be one of their rules. I had to go deep about this L&S catering,it was my palate asking me that. They also have culinary classes that happen at their house where they can teach and pass their wisdom to others. I can’t do anything else than spread the voice here with a review and among all my friends and family. Thumbs up for L&S catering,one of the best culinary experiences I had in many many years. They sure deserve an A. Cheers

    Perfect, delicious. Delices Creoles is very professional and reliable, their food is well-spiced, a lot of consideration to detail and personalization. Very pretty table settings and plating. I'd be happy to hire them again for their various services - especially private/small group cooking classes, which are coming in the future, apparently.

    What an amazing party! Chef Stef made an incredible, memorable event for myself and my guests. Chef Stef is professional in how he runs his business and passionate about teaching his cooking classes. I was very impressed with how organized Chef Stef was throughout the process of planning the party: from the initial meeting where we planned a "Taste of Asia" menu, to emailing me the contract the same day, to checking in before the party, to all the prep work and set-up Chef Stef did beforehand (individual ingredients,  wine pairings, individual cooking stations for 13 people with stove top burners, aprons, knives, cutting boards, pots and pans, etc. -- a lot of work!). He even brought take-out containers so guests could bring home left-overs. Best of all -- he packed up all the dirty dishes, pots and pans, etc. to clean at home! Chef Stef knows what he's doing, which made the party planning so simple and effortless for me. Chef Stef prepared delicious Asian-themed hot and cold appetizers for the cocktail hour. Once all the guests arrived, we started the class. It was an awesome class and so much fun! We learned how to cook delicious pork and vegetable potstickers, beef pho and shrimp spring rolls with dipping sauce. Chef Stef doesn't skimp on the ingredients. I loved learning how to incorporate the flavors of the exotic recipe ingredients: star anise, fresh cinnamon sticks, fish sauce, ginger, fresh mint, cilantro, beef marrow bones, rice paper, etc. Chef Stef had tons of patience teaching my friends and family the recipes (especially after the 3rd wine pairing when everyone was getting a bit boisterous LOL!), as well as teaching us great cooking tips. I would definitely hire Chef Stef again! I'm already thinking ahead for the menu theme for next year's birthday celebration!

    It was great! Chef Stef is friendly, kind and knowledgable. Most of all, he is patient. While teaching me how to cook the recipes I had chosen, he also taught me some knife skills, tips for buying and preparing the ingredients, and how to use a gas burner (something that has always caused me anxiety). He was really open with menu planning. I chose to learn some Thai dishes, recipes before that seemed too difficult. He made it easy and delicious. We cooked in tandem. This made it really easy to see exactly what to do, like watching a cooking show at my own pace. I got to keep all of the food I cooked and he cooked. I was worried that this experience might be a little stressful, with a chef that had mastered his skill and was impatient with slow learners. On the contrary, Chef Stef clearly knows his way around the kitchen, and he was incredibly encouraging and patient. I felt completely at ease. I really enjoyed the experience, and have already recommended him to my friends. Especially for a ladies night! My husband was so impressed with the food, that he said we should bring him back to teach me more. Not sure what that says about the quality of food I've been cooking him for the last 10 years ;)

    The classes at The Institute of Culinary Education Inc. were really nice. There were about three hours long, because you cook and then you eat afterwards. It was really good. I thought it was very good. They offer you a variety of cooking classes to chose from. It's not like an educational school to get a degree or anything. You just take one class at one time, in whatever area you choose. They gave you the menus, the recipes and tips about how to do certain things. It was good. We made like four big dinners.

    They make their cupcakes for you, and they teach you how to make the icing. They teach you how to make their famous things. It was good, they gave you recipes that you could take home with you.

    It went great.  I've been to several of Chef Stef's classes.  What I like best is the hands-on of making the dishes myself and the variety of classes he offers (usually timed to the season).  He asks for suggestions for other classes and dishes.  Also, I always learn something more when I take his class like a special cutting tip or why to use this cut of meat vs. another.  It's an enjoyable couple of hours.  The people are very nice, friendly and helpful.

    Chef Stef is professional and patient with all the students in attendance.   He explains what he is preparing as the students prepare their own dishes.   His recipes and techniques are understandable for those who have never stepped foot in the kitchen. He prepares all the stations for the students and supplies all the tools and food needed to make a magnificent dish.   His passion for cooking and teaching shine through in all the work he does.
