Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Bronxville

    Arid Basement Waterproofing
The company is located in Ramsey NJ

The original inspection was completed for the original cost. The additional work, a check valve was performed on the same day the tech explained that this would prevent the back- up into the slop sink. However as the tech explained this is only a temp fix. We discussed different alternatives and his Boss , mr Fusco was suppose to call me with prices. He never called.
The tech who came was very polite and seemed knowledgable
For this reason I would not rate this provider as reliable

    Rella Plumbing & Heating
    1) I asked that he install a basepump backup water powered sump pump in an empty sump pit on the street side of my house.
    2) He told me it was too difficult to do in that location because of the water lines location.
    3) He convinced me to instead have him dig a new sump pit on the backyard side of my house at a much higher expense and install a Liberty SJ10 water powered pump together with an electric pump in the new location.
    4) The system did not work and the basement flooded with the power outage.
    5) I told him this would not have happened if we were able to install the backup pump next to my primary pump on the street side. He then told me, miraculously, that he could install a water powered backup pump in that location without difficulty using flex piping. [It was the and quot;difficultyand quot; of connecting the waterline without breaking down walls, which prevented him from doing this initially, or so he told me. Turns out it was just a lie to have him do a much bigger job of excavating a new pit which did not solve my problem.
    6) He installed the second backup pump with the flex piping and it worked beautifully during the next power outage. My basement is finally dry even without power for days on end.
    7) It cost me 5x what it should have because of the unnecessary excavation and installation of a primary and backup pump that I did not need, but was sold to me because he told me I could not get the water powered backup pump where he eventually put it without any trouble.
    8) The first job he did used a piece of equipment that has been dripping, nearly from the date of installation, and has prevented me from putting the sump pit cover on my unnecessary, space consuming, sump pit, which is not up to code and which will not pass inspection when I sell the house. So I must pay a new plumber to fix what he did because for nearly five months he has given me the run-around.
And finally, he left all of the excavated concrete against my house in the backyard. He basically only removed that material when I told him I needed him to do the second job (the second job that should have been the first job and would have avoided a) 1 flood and b) the cost of excavating an additional sump pit, the loss of significant floor space in our laundry room and months of trying to get him to come fix the drip created by his first job.
