    Two days before Thanksgiving because of a do it yourself project gone awry, we had a working oven with no door (troubling to Turkey lovers in the family) I called Tri State on a Tuesday morning and was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Their technicians arrived a few minutes before the appointed time that afternoon. I inadvertently kept them waiting for a few minutes but there was happily no sign of annoyance. Rather, they were friendly, very pleasant, answered all my questions and got the job done well in a timely manner.  They were also less expensive then another local appliance repair service I'd called. This represented one of the best service experiences we've ever had.

    I was very impressed that Carlita came out immediately after I called to address this potential gas leak. Carlita was quick, professional, and very efficient.  She had the parts and took care of the repair immediately, she didn’t fool around.  She was highly recommend to me and I was not disappointed.  I now highly recommend her to others.

    We used then a year or do ago without incident but they now appear to be borderline defunct. We called them multiple times before they finally called back and asked us to wait around for appointment but then they did not show. We only called them because we'd used them in the past but now they don't answer phone and if you do schedule appointment do not show.

    We was very pleasant to work with. Very knowledgeable. Usually late for appointments but I already had done more Thant one job with him. Be patient, he really knows what he is doing. After all it worth it.

    AV Appliance was very courteous on the phone and came out the next day to diagnose the problem with my washing machine.  They were professional, respectful, and seemed to be very thorough and methodical in how they approached the problem. They gave me an estimate of what the parts and labor would be before ordering the part. When they came back to install the part, they discovered there were fewer issues than they originally thought and only had to install one new part. They were honest about the fact that the repair would be less than the original estimate they gave me. And of course I was excited to hear it was less expensive!
    The washing machine has been working great ever since! I would definitely use them again. They are responsive, professional, polite, and no drama. They came in, assessed the problem, fixed it, and went on their way.

    He was very nice when he came.  Helped figure out were the clicking was coming from inside my freezer.  Looked at the fan/hood over my stove.  Determined that the lights were burnt out because of a transformer that blew.  He told me he was going to order part and return to install.
    This was the last I saw or heard from him. 3 weeks passed.  I began to call his office as I figured he just forgot.
    I called his office on 4 (four)! different occasions and left messages on his voice mail.  I even asked if he was not able to help resolve my issue with the hood that he at the least call me back so I can start the process of finding someone else to repair it for me.  Since I paid the initial fee I was really hoping I would not have to do this again.
    I just don't understand how a person runs a business like this. Maybe there was a terrible accident in the family?
     He was very professional at the time and gave me some good advice about other appliances I had in my house.

    They scheduled me for a three hour block of time and then didn't show.  Didn't call, didn't email, just didn't show.  They called me at noon the next day saying "we don't know what happened, why the service guy didn't get the call."  They then asked to reschedule for a two hour block of time the next day.  After waiting around for three hours and not even getting a call, I had no confidence that they would show for the next appointment that was going to require me rearranging my schedule.  So I said no to the reschedule.
    I would never recommend such an unreliable service provider.

    Our dishwasher had slowly developed a leak over the course of a month from a drop or two to filling a bath towel.  They took apart the door, found the likely location of the leak and fixed it.  A week later, the dishwasher was making a big mess again.  A tech came almost immediately and spent a couple of hours trying to find the leak, to no avail.  After a conversation with Carlita, the owner, it appeared that the dishwasher was at the end of its useful life.  The next morning, I got word from Carlita that she had searched through all the repair manuals that night and had a new theory.  They came that day and found a simple problem and fixed it--a loose screw in the spray assembly.  There were no charges for the 2nd or 3rd trip.  This experience is sadly rare--someone who stands behind their work and does what it takes to make it right.

    Carlita showed up during the window of time that she gave me.  She found the problem and had to order a replacement part which she did and she came back within two hours and replaced the defective part.  She was prompt and professional and I would use her again should the need arise.

    Our refrigerator/freezer wasn't staying cold.  This happened on a Friday night.  I called Vinnie's and left a message on Saturday morning and the message stated they were closed for the weekend but I could expect a call at 8am the next business day.  I received a call on Monday at 8:15am, the repairman was at my house at 9:00am, and it took about a 1/2 hour to repair the refrigerator.  He was candid and said that the refrigerator was old and that next time instead of repairing it, we may want to think about buying a new one. I appreciated that.  Service was $210
